Discovery 64, Central Gwinnett 63: Zailan Blue netted 17 points along with Byron Martin. Colby Williams scored 14 points and Darryl Walton snagged 12 rebounds.

Newnan 74, Banneker 42: Wesley Drake scored 17 points and Zion Brown had 14.

South Gwinnett 70, Maynard Jackson 52: Jacob Washington led the Comets with 21 points while Kamren Heathington piled in 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Maalik Leitch finished with 10 points and 6 assists.

Though they nearly blew a 17-point second half lead, River Ridge managed to survive a late Cherokee rally, 61-59. Mataya Gayle was in the middle of everything, the electrifying playmaker doing just enough to drag the Knights to the finish line. No. 7 Archer 49, South Forsyth 32: Damoni Harrison had 17 points, 9 rebounds and 3 steals while Seth Means posted 15 points. Christian Drummer recorded 7 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Bryson Shade had 4 points and 4 rebounds while Major Freeman tallied 4 points, 5 assists and 3 steals.

No. 9 Etowah 67, River Ridge 42: Brandon Rechsteiner drilled 5 of Etowah’s 12 threes and finished with 23 points. Dajaun Devonish (14), Dimitri Angelakos (13) and Mason Etter (13) all reached double digits.

No. 10 East Coweta 70, Carver-Columbus 52: In the loss Mohamed Diaby scored 20 points.
