2021 5-9 PG Raven Johnson – FBC United – Westlake
The Queen of the GHSA, Raven Johnson continued her in-state dominance of Georgia competition as she nailed 4 threes en route to a game-high 14 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals in FBC United’s 41-40 win over GA Pearls. Johnson was locked in from the start and paced FBC. Her control of the game is tough to top. While she may not be the biggest, fastest or strongest, Johnson is no-doubt the most well-rounded and most complete guard Georgia has to offer. The South Carolina-commit’s ability to do what it takes to win always shines through. She is an incredible rebounder for her position and takes pride in her defensive abilities. Johnson will go down as one of Georgia’s all-time greatest winners and has a chance to finish out her career undefeated against in-state teams.

2021 6-4 F Sania Feagin – GA Pearls Jr. National – Forest Park
The Georgia Pearls lost a 41-40 heartbreaker to FBC United, but to no fault of South Carolina-commit Sania Feagin. The agile athlete posted 12 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 2 blocks in the low scoring game. Feagin hit soft jumpers from 15-feet and showcased her quickness when attacking the basket, rising up to score. Going up against a 6-foot-7 center, Feagin’s effectiveness can’t be understated.
2022 6-0 W Flau’jae Johnson – FBC Bouncenation Jay – Sprayberry
Flau’jae Johnson passes the eye test when you first see her step foot on the court, but more importantly, she has the goods. Johnson went for 18 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block in a 64-55 win over FBC United 16U. Johnson plays multiple positions. She initiated the offense routinely and was a matchup nightmare for United’s smaller guards. Johnson was a playmaker. She slashed to the hoop and scored at an efficient rate but also showed she could make the right reads off the bounce. She knocked down a three-pointer as well. Johnson got some touches out of the post and sealed deep on the block. Possessing great length and athleticism, Johnson is a big-time High Major prospect. Georgia Tech and St. John’s were the latest to offer this past weekend.
2021 5-11 W Kionna Gaines – FBC Bouncenation Jay – Carver-Columbus
The Clemson-commit took advantage of her athleticism and got to the hoop against FBC United 16U. Gaines elevated over the defense once she got to the rim and wouldn’t be denied. She even went into the post when she had a mismatch. Gaines posted 16 points and 7 rebounds.
2021 5-7 SG Olympia Chaney – FBC Bouncenation Jay – Westlake
Chaney hit big shot after big shot to keep FBC United 16U at bay in Bouncenation’s competitive 64-55 win. Chaney was a sniper from deep, drilling 3 threes including two big ones in the second half. She found holes in the defense and got her feet set for when the ball found her. She finished with 13 points, 3 rebounds and 1 steal. Her value as a shot maker will draw the attention of schools.
2021 5-11 F Rose Bone – FBC Black JG – Loganville
FBC Black JG struggled to score vs. FGB but Rose Bone was a bright spot. Bone, who is transferring into Loganville from Athens Academy, showcased a well-rounded offensive game. She hit 2 threes and created offense both off the dribble and in the paint. Bone worked the mid-range well and put her head down to get to the basket. She finished with 16 points and 3 rebounds. She has combo-forward capabilities thanks to her toughness.

2022 6-1 F Layla Hood – FBC Legacy UAA – Lovejoy
A quick-footed mobile forward, Layla Hood has the makings of a High Major player. Her measurables jump off the page with her speed, strength and bounce. Transferring from Class A-Public to Class 6A with powerhouse Lovejoy, Hood will have college coaches in the gym nearly every game now. Hood has been one of Georgia’s elite rebounders since Day 1. She averaged 19.3 points, 16.3 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.3 blocks as a sophomore. She has a quick second leap and cleans up any misses at the rim. Her footwork is very impressive inside. She can catch with her back to the basket and sweep baseline in a lightning-quick fluid motion that leaves defenders flat-footed. Hood can attack some from the perimeter and has room to grow her outside shot. Hood will need to further develop her left hand and make sure she converts on first chance opportunities inside. She posted 10 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals in a blowout win.
2022 5-10 PG Paris Miller – FBC United The Family 16U – Johns Creek
In look three of Paris Miller, it was the best I’ve ever seen her play. While she had bright spots at Luella, turnovers hurt her at times and in the Class 4A Final Four she found herself on the bench for most of the game until she sent the game to overtime with a late floater. Now at Johns Creek with a fresh start ahead of her, Miller has a chance to put her mark on the Gladiator program. Saturday was a welcome sight for things to come. Battling against FBC Bouncenation, Miller let her hands do the work. The big guard was everywhere on defense earning deflections and steals throughout the course of the game. Her defense sparked her offense and gave her a nice rhythm throughout. Miller sank 2 threes and finished with a robust 15 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 7 steals. In a guard heavy backcourt, Miller split the ball handling duties with a number of other high-profile playmakers. Miller looked good playing off the ball but also did a much better job with ball security when she ran the offense. More games like these on the big stage will help build confidence and attract many college suitors.

2022 5-8 SG Mia Geveke – Peak Webb – Harrison
Though some shots weren’t falling, Mia Geveke’s offensive game looked good for Peak Webb. She stroked 2 threes, but more impressive were her nice hard sweeping drives to the basket. Geveke showed a quick first step and ability to beat her defender to the hoop. Geveke finished with 9 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal.
2022 6-0 F Ella Grace Squires – Peak Webb – Brookwood (GISA)
A GISA State Champion, Ella Grace Squires shined inside with her defensive prowess. The lanky shot blocker swatted away 8 shots to go along with her 4 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal in a double overtime loss to FBC Bouncenation. Squires did a great job defending without fouling and keeping her arms straight up to maximize her length. Some added strength to her frame will go a long way toward the next level. On offense she showed that she could hit the short jumper. Squires will be a name that small schools will want to stay informed on.
Great action. Another @ellagsquires block inside. Her defense has helped stymie FBC pic.twitter.com/5ZNlw4aL3D
