No. 5 McEachern 56, No. 1 Milton 55: McEachern toppled Milton, who was without LT Overton due to football. Randy Brady scored 15 points including the game-winner to lead the Indians. Braden Sparks scored 14 points and Georgia-signee Cam McDowell had 13 while Arkansas-signee Chance Moore sat out. Milton was led by Campbell-signee Broc Bidwell and Kanaan Carlyle’s 16 points apiece. Ethan Underwood pitched in 18 points. The Lions were led by Jairus Griffin’s 16 points and 6 rebounds and Chris Green’s 8 points and 9 rebounds.
Collins Hill 80, Gainesville 75: In a hotly contested battled, Ethan Davis’ putback at the 6:10 mark gave the Eagles the lead for good at the North Georgia Showcase. Vino Glover led Collins Hill 22 points and 3 steals. Chris Lanns had 16 points and 5 rebounds while Alpha Diallo pitched in 16 points and 4 rebounds off the bench. Davis finished with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Jabre Mills had 10 points and 5 rebounds. Gainesville was led by Robert Reisman’s 21 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal and 1 block. Dylan Bobga added 15 points and Eli Pitts scored 12. Jimmie Jackson had 8 points in the loss.
Kennesaw Mountain 60, The King’s Academy 34: Jordan James went 13-16 from the line and finished with 29 points and 7 rebounds in the win. Nick Hein added 15 points and 8 rebounds.

No. 4 Lanier 72, 3ANo. 4 Hart County 69: After trailing the entire game, Conner Marcantel gave the Longhorns their first lead of the game at 59-58 with 5:30 left in the fourth before Lanier managed to survive a wild affair in the North Georgia Showcase finale that saw James Madison-signee Andrew McConnell foul out with 9 points, Makai Vassell with 12 points and 7 rebounds and Iajah Phillips with 7 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Hart County played the fourth quarter without Tahj Johnson (9 points, 5 rebounds, 3 blocks) and Sean Teasley (9 points, 4 rebounds) who both fouled out. Jay Heard fouled out later in the fourth. Lanier’s young guards made key plays down the stretch. Junior Justin Birch had 14 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists while freshman Boogie Morgan had 11 points and 5 rebounds and freshman CJ Hyland hit two clutch free throws in the fourth during their comeback. In the loss, Emmanuel-commit Shone Webb poured in 26 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists, 3 steals and 5 blocks. JC Curry had 11 points – 6 in the fourth.
No. 5 Buford 66, A-PrivateNo. 4 Providence Christian 48: Caleb Blackwell totaled 26 points and 8 assists while Alahn Sumler added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the Buford win. Jaylon Taylor had 10 points and 6 rebounds. Hysan Dalton tacked on 8 points and 5 rebounds. Providence Christian saw Chance Thacker and Tony Carpio scored 14 and 12 points, respectively.

No. 2 St. Pius X 69, Duluth 44: After hitting 7 first half threes to go into the half down 33-27, Duluth ran out of gas and made just one triple in the second half and saw a 27-6 third quarter doom their upset bid at the North Georgia Showcase. Brookes Kahlert tallied 18 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Trey Acklin pitched in 14 points, 4 rebounds, 8 steals and 1 block while Callum Petersen had 12 points. Duluth was led by Will Peak’s 4 threes and 14 points off the bench. John Durden had 12 points and 4 rebounds.
No. 5 Woodward Academy 70, 7ANo. 8 Newton 69: Logan Stephens poured in 27 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists along with the game-winning bucket with 1.2 seconds left. Belmont-signee Will Richard battled for 31 points, 13 rebounds and 2 steals. Jakai Newton and Stephon Castle had 22 apiece in the loss.
No. 8 Cass 73, Woodstock 56: Zaylan Chaney finished with 24 points, Braxton Benham 21 and CJ Pipkin 9 in the win.

No. 1 Sandy Creek 63, 2ANo. 1 Pace Academy 59: At the OTR Tip-off Classic, Washington State-signee Myles Rice (22) and Auburn-signee Jabari Smith (18) led the Patriots past the Knights. Josh Reed scored 15 for Pace Academy. Florida State-signee Matthew Cleveland and Cleveland State-signee Cole Middleton scored 14 apiece. Madison Durr added 13.

Cherokee Bluff 59, Mill Creek 49: Still missing players from football and injury, the host Bears overpowered Mill Creek inside at the North Georgia Showcase. Back from a broken leg, 6-foot-9 senior Corey Thomas dominated the paint with 21 points, 16 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 6 blocks. Dre Raven pitched in 14 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals. Carlos Marlow added 13 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal while Cade Simmons finished with 11 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block. Mill Creek was paced by Johnathan Taylor’s 16 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals. Josh Pittman hit 4 threes en route to 12 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. In the loss, Jadon Yeh went for 20 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 3 blocks. Kenny Simpson double-doubled with 18 points, 11 rebounds, 2 steals and 3 blocks.

Hart County 44, Cherokee Bluff 40: In a back-and-forth game on Cherokee Bluff’s home floor in the opener of the North Georgia Showcase, Hart County saw freshman Dakota Phillips and senior Taniya Alexander make key plays down the stretch to put away the Bears. Alexander posted 15 points, 13 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 block. Phillips crafted together 15 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block while Alexis Walker added 7 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block. Timber Gaither carried Cherokee Bluff, scoring 13-straight points in the second half and finishing with a game-high 20 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks. Finley Millwood chipped in 7 points while Kaitlin Cook had 6.
