2024 5-4 PG Alaya Grane – Northside-Warner Robins
Entering camp as one of the most highly touted young guards in Middle Georgia, Alaya Grane proved that she’s the standard when it comes to 2024 playmakers in the heart of the state. After earning Region 1-6A Second Team honors as a freshman, Grane showcased her quickness and vision on Saturday. Alaya is an aggressive player. She picks up full court and forces turnovers at a high rate. Grane pushes the ball in transition and can break off eurosteps when getting to the hoop. When Grane gets into the teeth of the defense, she can whip in sharp passes through tight quarters. Alaya is at her best when she gets downhill, but she can also shoot the three off the dribble. Grane has a chance to put together a memorable career and play at the next level.
2022 5-5 PG Nautica Boone – Westside-Macon
The speedy quick lefty is shifty with the ball. Boone likes to play at a high tempo and use her speed to blow past defenders. She plays with great energy, flying around on defense and crashing the offensive glass. Boone is a good passer that sucks in defenses before finding the open man.
2022 5-4 PG Tamya Blasingame – Lamar County
As the day went on, the better Tamya Blasingame got. She’s a good ball handler that can handle pressure and set up the offense. She’s more of a slasher than shooter, but once she saw one three drop, more followed as her confidence in her outside shot grew. Playing with high energy and making her teammates around her better are what can separate her from other small guards in her class. If she can find two-way consistency, she could catch the eye of some small schools.
2024 5-7 G Leana Minus – Veterans
Leana Minus made one of the best first impressions of the day. She plays with an infectious energy, getting after it on defense and converting turnovers into transition points. Minus scored on drives and floaters and was overall effective getting into the paint. The sophomore is athletic and nimble on her feet. Minus could be a stat sheet stuffer come senior season.
2023 6-0 C A’lea Williams – Tattnall Square
Another camp, another stock rising day. A’lea Williams has emerged as an intriguing post prospect out of Macon. She impressed at the E33 Showcase and carried her momentum into Saturday. Williams is a big body with soft hands. She works to get on the offensive glass and keeps the ball high when finishing up close. She’s not afraid to get physical when fighting for position on the low block and demands attention on post touches. Williams a sneaky solid prospect that could pop up on college radars in due time.
2025 5-10 F Hajar Baldwin-Toles – Mary Persons
Only a rising freshman, Hajar Baldwin-Toles caught my eye with her productivity and motor. She has nice size at the forward position and showcased some versatility. Baldwin-Toles can knock down the mid-range jumper and score up close. She’s an impactful rebounder that also takes pride in her defense. Baldwin-Toles was able to poke away multiple steals and protected the rim very well as a shot blocker. Hajar has upside.
2022 5-7 G Annaclaire Yearick – Killian Hill
AC Yearick didn’t have to score to make an impact. She could be seen on the floor for every loose ball and served as the vocal leader for her team. Yearick was supportive on the floor and stood out as a well-liked teammate. AC kept defenses honest with her outside shot and did a good job of keeping opponents out of the lane.
