Jerrin Samuel2026 6-5 SG Jerrin Samuel – Winder-Barrow
Fresh off a Final Four run a season ago, Winder-Barrow is in a position to take another deep trip into the postseason riding a balanced attack paced by Jerrin Samuel. The long-armed lefty holds offers from Tennessee Tech, Ohio, Georgia State, Chattanooga, Kennesaw State, Liberty and Stetson. On Saturday, Samuel controlled the game with his play on both sides of the ball. Known for his outside shooting, Jerrin drilled three three-pointers and hit tough shots when getting to his pull-up. He was able to spin off defenders and get directly into his jump shot which is hard to contest at his height with his elevation. A nine-point second quarter lifted Winder-Barrow to a double-digit lead they would never relinquish against Seckinger, winning 60-45. While Samuel scored from all three levels adding in slashes to the basket, his defense and toughness on the glass rounded out his overall production. Jerrin finished with 23 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block as he earned deflections and broke up plays defensively with his activity. Samuel continues to trend up and rightfully is regarded as one of Georgia’s top prospects in the 2026 class.

Jordan Samuel
2025 6-7 F Jordan Samuel – Winder-Barrow
Packed with size, athleticism and length, it is Jordan’s versatility that gives him such upside and value at the next level. Samuel covers a ton of ground as a long strider whether it be attacking the hoop off the dribble or defending sideline to sideline. Jordan is capable of guarding inside and out and is a major boon with his switchability. Samuel is an effective rim protector who can clear rebounds and push the ball to start fastbreaks. He is fleet of foot with quality ball skills, able to make decisions as a passer off the dribble. Against Seckinger, Jordan compiled 8 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. He had a pair of slams and scored with both hands on drives. Samuel has become a hot target for non D-I schools receiving offers from Voorhees, South Georgia Tech, Itawamba, Georgia Gwinnett, Gordon State and Southwestern CC.

2027 6-6 W Caleb Wells – Seckinger
Caleb Wells has enjoyed a breakout sophomore season, scoring over 20 points per game. In Seckinger’s loss to Winder-Barrow, Wells finished with 11 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 blocks. While it wasn’t his or his team’s finest performance, there were still positive takeaways from a prospect standpoint. Caleb looked more fluid and mobile than he did as a freshman; more explosive. Wells had a transition slam and was able to find offense on drives. He scored on the baseline with pull-up jumpers and earned second-chance points on offensive rebounds. Wells should draw D-I attention over his final three seasons of development.

Trip Griffith2025 6-5 PF Trip Griffith – Monroe Area
What do hurricanes do? They spin. Trip spun his way to multiple baskets inside, using his strength and leaping ability to score at the rim. Griffith loves to drop step and pirouette to the basket where he can score through contact. In a 53-49 win over Johnson-Savannah, the double-double machine posted 16 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal. Trip does a great job tipping in misses and moves well without the ball, diving to open spaces in the defense to catch and finish. Griffith’s playmaking has improved this year, becoming a focal point that draws so much attention of the defense that he can hit the open man whether it be a cutter or a three-point shooter. The All-State post is as reliable as they come inside. His rebounding translates to the next level. Small schools and JUCO programs should be in touch.

Quentin James
2026 5-11 G Quentin James – Johnson-Savannah
With Favion Kirkwood still nursing an ankle injury, Quentin James stepped up. Likely the next stalwart guard for the Atomsmashers once Kirkwood graduates, James filled in nicely in a lead role against Monroe Area providing 15 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. James was hot early on with eight quick points. He netted two threes and drained a one-dribble pull-up from the wing. In total, James hit five jumpers and utilized a floater in traffic. Listed at 5-foot-11, James has a strong frame and is aggressive when seeking rebounds. Already with major big game experience under his belt, James is on the rise with a season and half remaining in his high school career.

Khamari Brooks2026 6-5 W Khamari Brooks – North Oconee
The legend of Khamari Brooks continues to grow with each high school game he plays. Back on the hardwood after earning a state championship on the gridiron, Brooks looks to add a third state title to his resume if the Titans can repeat as champs this season. Khamari was a monster in North Oconee’s 69-67 win over Buford. The physical powerhouse overwhelmed the smaller Wolves inside, bludgeoning them on the offensive glass as Brooks got second and third chances routinely. The four-star football prospect played bully-ball in the paint but is more than just a garbage guy. Brooks is a steady playmaker off the dribble. He’s a good passer who can step outside to hit perimeter jumpers. On Saturday, he did well finishing with both hands while showcasing his speed downhill. Brooks collected 18 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. With a future of playing on Sundays in the cards, Khamari’s value to the basketball team can never be overstated. Likely to go down as the most accomplished athlete in school history, Brooks’ trajectory, although a bit different with their styles of play, is reminiscent to that of two-time state champion Travon Walker who played at Upson-Lee before starring at UGA and getting drafted number one overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Banks Pourchier2026 6-8 PF Banks Pourchier – North Oconee
Banks was far too big for anyone to stop as he piled in 22 points, 8 rebounds and 1 assist in the two-point win over Buford. Pourchier had everything working against the Wolves. Not only did he dominate inside with putbacks, dunks and hook shots, Banks stepped outside to sink mid-range jumpers and hit the open three. Pourchier was patient with the ball, understanding the size and strength advantage he had. He scored with his back to the basket with both hands and maneuvered his way to turnaround jumpers from 12-feet. Banks’ most explosive play came when he caught on the baseline, faced-up and attacked with a slam. D-I offers can’t be too far away. Pourchier’s production is up-ticked lately as his comfortability at his new school has increased.

Carmelo Williams
2027 6-1 G Carmelo Williams – Buford
Listed at 6-foot-1, maybe closer to 6-foot-2, Carmelo Williams has the chance to be a helium prospect over the next three seasons, meaning he could sky rocket his stock and become one of Georgia’s top 2027 players by the time he is a senior. Williams makes things look so simple. He has a quick first step when attacking the hoop and is springy getting off the floor, a great second leaper that needs no load up time to get to his apex when battling for rebounds and tipped balls. Carmelo is really good at drawing fouls and can switch speeds at the last second to bait defenders into difficult positions. Most of Williams’ points against North Oconee came around the rim, a difficult task considering the Titans’ major size and strength advantage. Carmelo finished with 15 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 4 blocks. His effort on defense paired with his aforementioned bounciness allowed Williams to challenge shots of bigger opponents. Dillon Nixon
2026 5-8 G Dillon Nixon – Buford
It feels like Dillon Nixon has ice water in his veins. Watching him for the second time this season, I’ve already seen Nixon hit numerous big shots whether to close the gap, draw even or take the lead. Dillon gets hot in a hurry with his three-point shot. He can spray shots from all over the arc. When chased off the three-point line, Nixon is a heady passer who sees the floor to find other shooters. If he gets into the lane, Dillon has a patented floater to score over length. Nixon finished with 14 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal against North Oconee, sinking four threes including one with 15.6 seconds left that trimmed the Titan lead to one point.

2026 5-9 G Torre Costin – Buford
Torre brings a burst of speed, athleticism and toughness from the gridiron, not to mention another lethal perimeter shooter. Costin made his hay thanks to his motor and jump shooting. He hit a pair of mid-range pull-ups to go along with a three-pointer. The bouncy wide receiver showed great ball skills by shooting into passing lanes for steals. Costin totaled 11 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals as an impactful undersized two-way guard.
