2028 6-3 G Case Presley – Dacula
Off to their best start in years at 13-1, Dacula romped their way to the JaxCo Holiday Hoopfest title with back-to-back 35-point wins. Part of a high-octane balanced attack, Case Presley was front and center, winning tournament MVP. The long guard posted 18 points and 11 rebounds in Round 1 against Lanier, 15 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals against Monroe Area and exploded for 29 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 threes in the championship game. Case is smooth with the ball, a calm three-level scorer who blends pace with patience. Presley gets to his spots well, a tough cover with how he can elevate to shoot over contests. Against Monroe Area, he sank two threes, hit a pull-up jumper, scored on a pro-hop after a steal and converted a putback to showcase his ability to impact games offensively from all over. All the tools are in place for Presley to draw serious college recruitment sooner rather than later.

I first saw Dorian over the summer and came away quite impressed with the upcoming freshman. Fast forward months later and Douglas has proven to be one of the most important rookies in the state. Though a tad undersized listed at 5-foot-9, aside from his height nothing else about Dorian screams freshman. He is chiseled with muscle to negate any shortcomings vertically. The lefty’s game is extremely mature. Douglas is poised with the ball, a heady decision maker when it comes to whether to attack or facilitate. He’s capable of giving the Falcons 20 points on any given night, but he’s also capable of creating offense with his court vision as a passer. His composure stands out as good things tend to happen when the ball is in his hands. Dorian understands spacing. He relocates upon the pass, sliding over to find windows for drive-and-kick and safety valve shot attempts. Against Monroe Area, Douglas drained four threes including an incredibly tough pull-up out of a spin move to beat the buzzer. Dorian finished with 16 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals and earned All-Tournament honors due to his consistency.

2026 5-10 G Kenny LaRue – Dacula
Dacula’s lone senior helps set the tone with his grit. LaRue is a two-way guard. He’s a bucket getter on the perimeter with his jump shot and a stingy on-ball defender who bodies up and limits penetration well. LaRue tallied 11 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist against Monroe Area in the semifinals before erupting against Duluth in an 88-53 championship victory, swishing seven threes en route to 27 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. College programs still have an opportunity to get in on LaRue. His toughness bodes well for the next level. D-II programs have been in touch.
2027 6-0 G Tre Robinson – Monroe Area
Tre finished the Hoopfest banged up but was effective when healthy, his top performance coming in Round 1 against Pickens as he dropped in 22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Robinson is a quick, bouncy athlete that can go up and win 50/50 balls. He elevates well on his jump shot making his pull-up tough to defend. Against Pickens Tre buried four threes and used his speed to create toward the rim. In a loss to Dacula, Robinson got to the line, shooting 5-8 to finish with a team-best 11 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. Tre’s move back to Monroe Area from Newton has him in prime position to earn All-Region honors as a key contributor as he builds momentum heading into his senior season.

QB1 is working his way back into basketball shape after guiding the Panthers to their first-ever Elite Eight berth in football. Knapp was a bright spot against Duluth, dumping in 16 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. RJ is extremely physical for a guard, the lefty a downhill attacker who understands how to use his body to his advantage. He absorbs contact and dishes out punishment on drives. Knapp is a streaky outside shooter, but overall an effective one. He drained a corner three and sank a mid-range pull-up against Duluth while mixing in multiple drives. Knapp rebounds well for a guard and is a dogged on-ball defender when he wants to be.
2026 5-8 G Tre Salter – Duluth
Tre torched Jackson County with 20 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal with 5 threes. The tiny guard launched with confidence as he killed the Panthers whenever they were slow to close out. Salter netted threes over screens, from the corners and even connected on a four-point play.
2027 6-0 G Brody Bryant – Pickens
Pickens can live and die by the three-point shot. Brody gives the Dragons life and firepower with his outside shot. In Round 1 against Monroe Area Brody swished four threes, getting Pickens off to a hot start with nine points coming in the opening frame. Bryant finished with 19 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist in the 69-60 loss, stepping up with McCord Purdy not in attendance.
