2027 6-6 W Bryce Fraley – Norcross Heat – Berkmar
Bryce has no shortage of tools to work with, embarking on a strong senior season at Berkmar after moving in from Shiloh. At 6-foot-6, Fraley has athleticism and versatility. The long, strong wiry wing moves well, quick with the ball with fluid handles. He’s a grab-and-go threat off the backboard, capable of pushing the full length of the court. Improving his left hand will help him become a more diverse attacker. In two games on Saturday, Bryce drained a total of three threes. He had 10 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal against Devin Butts Elite and added 4 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 1 block vs. HoopSavannah. With his physical traits and his shooting touch, Fraley is a blossoming two-way prospect. As long as he is able to keep his motor high, there’s no reason why Bryce can’t become a jack of all trades when it comes to filling up the stat sheet. There is long-term value at the next level.

2027 6-3 G Chandler Johnson – Norcross Heat – Central Gwinnett
The lanky guard with length drilled five threes between his two games, hitting four from the corners. Johnson tallied 15 points and 1 steal in Game 1 before swishing a pair of triples in Game 2 to finish with 6 points and 2 rebounds. The off-ball shot maker also served as a defensive stopper, helping deny shooters the ball, face-guarding in spurts. A 3&D calling card could become his MO.

2027 6-5 F Koen Bryant – Norcross Heat – East Hall
Bryant brings toughness and positional versatility to the front court. Equipped with a wing skill set but a forward’s physicality, Bryant can play both inside and out. He’s a fit as a small-ball four with his shooting touch and competitiveness in the paint. Koen hit two threes and added a mid-range jumper to go along with a putback to finish with 10 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal against Devin Butts Elite. He battled in the paint defending 6-foot-8 Thomas Gosier, giving up a massive size advantage as the two football standouts locked horns. Dearborn offered at the beginning of the month.

2027 6-6 C Benja Crofts – HoopSavannah – South Effingham
The 6-foot-6, 250-pound tight end is an enforcer on the hardwood, a physical presence who loves to bang inside. Benja is a powerful post just starting to find his identity on the hardwood after averaging 5.5 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game, a massive leap from his sophomore campaign when he averaged 1 point and 2 rebounds. Crofts doesn’t need plays called for him in able to be effective. He scores from the dunker spot on drop offs and is effective throwing his weight around to seal on baseline out of bounds sets. What impressed me most in a narrow loss to the Norcross Heat was Crofts’ timing as a shot blocker. Benja does a great job walling up vertically to alter shots. Like going up for a 50/50 pass on the gridiron, Crofts wins jousts at the rim as a trustworthy last line of defense. Benja posted 8 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal and 7 blocks against an explosive Norcross Heat team. Crofts is a luxury to have as an anchor inside. Football is likely his future in college, but basketball programs should stay aware of the 4.0 student with a 6-foot-10 wingspan.

2027 6-4 G Rylan Wahl – HoopAthens – Loganville
A big guard, Rylan played at his pace against an aggressive Georgia Suns team. Wahl dropped in 9 points, 2 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block. The southpaw showcased a floater in traffic and played off two feet to score from the in-between range up close. Wahl sank a catch-and-shoot three to balance his scoring attack. His size in the backcourt allows him clean looks at the rim. He’s got some versatility to play 2-4, capable of creating mismatches with his offensive profile.

2027 6-0 G Darrien Hatcher – Georgia Suns – Harlem
Darrien was in attack mode in a 62-57 loss to HoopAthens. The multi-sport athlete was sharp getting to the hoop slicing through the defense. Hatcher’s physical strength and quick first step got him to where he wanted to go. Hatcher shined as a rebounder from his guard position, capitalizing on coast-to-coast takes where he was able to convert through contact. Darrien mixed in a pair of threes as he finished with 16 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal.  Hatcher should serve as a reliable rotational guard in a deep Harlem backcourt after contributing 3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game as a junior.

2027 6-1 PG Tyrek Cantrell – HoopGwinnett 316 – Seckinger
In a loss to eventual champion Team Global Elite, Tyrek Cantrell pitched in 8 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals in a balanced performance. Equipped with quality size for a lead guard, Tyrek was able to balance finding his own shot while helping keep the offense flowing. He drained a pair of threes, one coming off a crossover and the other a catch-and-shoot triple from the corner. Cantrell looked good handling out of high ball screens. His activity level helped him contribute across the stat sheet.
