2029 6-2 G Zaiden Nelson – Peach County
Back in Middle Georgia after following his sister to Hebron Christian for his freshman season, Zaiden Nelson brings big game experience to the Peach County backcourt. A crafty scorer, Nelson put up 12.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.6 steals per game. Zaiden scores through contact off the dribble. He aggressively hunts his shot, capable of netting pull-up jumpers and creating space on the perimeter for threes. An All-State season could be on the horizon.
2029 6-5 W Shaheem Barbosa – Peach County
Another import from Central Fellowship Christian, Shaheem checks a lot of boxes with his physical traits. Barbosa is long and athletic. With his wingspan and mobility he is able to make a difference both inside and out. Barbosa is a smart cutter without the ball. He’s got great tools to become a 3&D type swingman.
2030 6-10 W Josh Sanders – Peach County
Sanders repeated eighth grade, leaving the Houston County cluster to play varsity at Central Fellowship Christian before debuting in the GHSA with Peach County this season. Sanders is highly-touted, a potential five-star wing who has made his biggest splash over the travel season. As he gets more comfortable in his new setting and adds on more weight to his frame, Sanders should take off. He’s got a good-looking jump shot with range out to the three-point line and holds fluid agility when attacking off the dribble. The lefty’s length and defensive range allow him to guard both on the perimeter and in the paint. Georgia Tech offered in May.
2027 6-2 G Gabe Williams – Harlem
Gabe returns to Harlem after averaging 8.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.4 steals per game at The Potter’s House Christian Academy, FL. As a sophomore at Harlem, Williams produced 7.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 steals. With Ty Shine transferring out of the state, Williams will figure to play a big role playing alongside AJ Williams.
2027 6-7 F Jaydin Brown – McDonough
Andrew, Clayton State, Columbus State and Lurleen B Wallace all offered over the offseason. Brown returns to McDonough after a sabbatical at Tri-Cities where he notched 5.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. The lefty’s physicality on the low block is difficult to contain. When he catches on the wing, he’s got quick enough footwork to beat defenders to the rim where he converts through fouls.
