Class AAAAAAA

Etowah 66, No. 5 Cherokee 52: Brock Rechsteiner had 20 points and 7 rebounds followed by freshman Dimitri Angelakos’ 16 points and 6 rebounds. Mason Etter had 13 points, 11 rebounds and drew 4 charges. Joshua Hughes finished with 9 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks. Brandon Rechsteiner added 6 points, 4 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals. Taihland Owens led Cherokee with 16 points. Tayden Owens and Xavier-signee Elijah Tucker scored 15 apiece.

No. 6 Berkmar 79, Dunwoody 46: Malique Ewin posted 20 points and 12 rebounds. Jermahri Hill scored 14 points. Destin Logan and Dara Olonade netted 11 apiece.

No. 8 North Gwinnett 62, Mountain View 47: North Gwinnett clinched a state playoff berth as Thomas Allard dropped in 22 points. RJ Godfrey posted 12 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Alabama-Huntsville-signee Brendan Rigsbee collected 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks. Gunnar Carlberg netted 9 points. In the loss Zay Wilson scored 16 points. Chance Boothe and Jayden Edison had 8 and 7 points, respectively.

Norcross 62, Discovery 58: In the loss Daveion Teague-Parham scored 17, Mikey Moncrease 15, Navaughn Maise 14 points and 11 rebounds and Ian Davis 12 points.

Roswell 80, Alpharetta 66: Michael Fitzgerald had 23 points followed by Jordan Wicker (19), Jase McCullough (14), Mason Kemp (13) and Jackson Kemp (11). Alpharetta got 21 points and 8 assists from Amaru Grosvenor.

Lambert 78, West Forsyth 56: Mason Barnes buried 9 threes to finish with 29 points and 5 steals. Paul Lunguana had 23 points and 7 rebounds. Luke Parris and Keenan Gagen scored 8 points. James Tyre dished out 7 assists.

North Paulding 60, Hillgrove 47: Griffin Cherry poured in 28 points.

Class AAAAAA

Statesboro 54, No. 4 Richmond Hill 49: Albert Mikell scored 16 points as the Blue Devils handed the Wildcats their first loss of the season.

Winder-Barrow 64, No. 5 Lanier 59: Wyatt Fricks tallied 17 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks. Tim Loud scored 17 points and had 3 assists and 3 steals. Isaiah Nelson-Ododa recorded 12 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks. Stewart Gallen scored 10 points. Ahmad Scott finished with 8 assists and 6 rebounds.

No. 7 Shiloh 63, Habersham Central 22: Devon Barnes had 13 points and 5 assists while Nazir Griffin added 13 points and 3 assists. Trevon Peyton chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds. Jacob Brown scored 10 in the loss.

No. 8 Centennial 89, Johns Creek 63: Logan Turner had 23 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals while Kyle Duncan tacked on 20 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Mansir Williamson finished with 16 points, 2 rebounds and 6 assists. KJ Spooney, Wade Kahl, Brian Baylor and Mark Asare all scored 6 points.

Dacula 60, Central Gwinnett 48: Lamariyon Jordan finished with 17 points. Anthony Alston had 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals while Gabe Omoregie pitched in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Bryce Wilson collected 6 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Josh Mathurin had 4 points, 5 assists and 3 steals.

Riverwood 80, Creekview 64: Jayden Cox-Young became the third Grizzly in school history to reach the 1,000-point plateau, posting 25 points and 8 rebounds in the loss.

Brunswick 75, Bradwell Institute 61: Tyrease Jones netted 16 points followed by Camarion Johnson (14) and Bryce Morris (10). Kam Towns had 8 points, 9 rebounds and 3 steals.

Class AAAAA

No. 4 Veterans 85, Ware County 43: TJ Grant scored 19 points and DeAngelo Hines netted 16 as the Warhawks set a school record with 13-straight wins to open the year. Will Burroughs (11) and Tajh Williams (9) pitched in.

No. 5 Woodward Academy 70, Mundy’s Mill 45: Belmont-signee Will Richard dumped in 28 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. Logan Stephens filed in 25 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals while Jordan Oladapo had 10 points and 4 rebounds. Mundy’s Mill was led by Noricco Danner (15), Marcos East (12) and Bryson Ogletree (8).

Creekside 74, No. 6 Forest Park 73: PJ Murray posted 18 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists in the upset. Chris Coleman added 14 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists while Avery Sutton netted 11 points. Bailo Diallo had 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals. ReMarr Rasool had 9 points and 5 steals. Jalil Muhammad chipped in 6 points, 10 rebounds and 3 steals.

Cartersville 54, No. 9 Cass 53:  Robert Novak led the Canes with 20 points including the game-winner with 5 seconds left. CJ Pipkin had 27 points in the upset loss. Andrew Glaze pitched in 10 points and 7 rebounds.

Hiram 62, Calhoun 48: Javores Boyd Jr. scored 17 points and Citadel-signee Jackson Price netted 16. Peyton Law led Calhoun with 14 points.

McIntosh 56, Griffin 54: Burke Berry led the Chiefs with 15 points. Joshua Poss scored 12. Evan Gillanders and Chandler Ernst scored 11 apiece.

Jones County 54, Locust Grove 51: Jaylen Sanford had 15 points and 3 assists. Daethan Harris added 12 points and 7 rebounds while Cam Norris scored 11 points. Matthew Wold netted 7 points and grabbed 6 boards.

Class AAAA

No. 1 Spencer 84, Columbus 53: James Smyre double-doubled with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Jaquez Holt netted 18 points and Malik Toles had 10 points and 5 rebounds. Tycen McDaniels recorded 9 points and 9 rebounds.

No. 8 Miller Grove 78, No. 6 Arabia Mountain 35: Zyair Greene poured in 16 points followed by Jahmil Barber’s 10.

Fayette County 72, Mt. Zion-Jonesboro 45: Kaleb Banks double-doubled with 22 points and 10 rebounds while RJ Kennedy netted 20 points. Cardell Bailey collected 12 points and 12 rebounds. Terry Brown had 8 points, 5 assists and 5 steals.

Central-Carrollton 46, Heritage-Catoosa 38: JoJo Bell netted 18 points.

Cedartown 59, Ridgeland 34: MJ Holiday (13), Donald Knight (10) and Jeremiah Johnson (7) led the Bulldogs.

Class AAA

No. 2 Hart County 68, Monroe Area 57: Emmanuel-commit Shone Webb tossed in 25 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks. Tahj Johnson had 13 points, 12 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 blocks.  JC Curry, Sean Teasley and Jay Heard all scored 10 apiece.

No. 5 Salem 45, GAC 38: Josh Fulton had 13 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists to lead GAC. Eddie Page and Kaosi Chijioke grabbed 7 rebounds apiece. Carlton Lucas scored 9 points.

No. 6 Carver-Atlanta 50, Westminster 49 OT: Jaquavious Hudson went for 16 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists while Amari Floyd had 15 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Dominique Stovall tallied 11 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. Mitchell Taylor had 2 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals.

No. 8 Cross Creek 71, Thomson 55: Richard Visitacion (24), Miles College-commit Corey Trotter (21) and Devin Pope (20) led the Razorbacks.

Westside-Macon 81, Spalding 72 OT: Florida-signee Kowacie Reeves Jr. poured in 29 points, 11 rebounds and 2 steals. Daveon Henderson had 18 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals while Shannon Fountain tacked on 17 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

Rockmart 62, Ringgold 54: Cody Williams had 18 points on 6 threes. Sherman Davis scored 10 points followed by Luke Noland’s 8.

Class AA

No. 1 Pace Academy 94, Washington 52: Florida State-signee Matthew Cleveland had 35 points and 11 rebounds in three quarter while Cleveland State-signee Cole Middleton had 12 points and 12 rebounds and Madison Durr pitched in 10 points, 12 assists and 7 steals in three quarters.  LJ Moore scored 11 points, Josh Reed had 10 points and 8 rebounds and Logan Baker netted 6 points.

No. 3 Washington County 77, Jasper County 36: Jairus Brown posted 16 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals while JT Thomas had 15 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Willie Henderson scored 10 points. Christian Moore contributed 7 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists.

No. 4 Columbia 74, Towers 49: Daquavious Harrison had 20 points and 7 rebounds while Mason Lockhart posted 12 points and 14 rebounds. Julius Lymon finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

No. 5 Lovett 67, KIPP Atlanta 45: Georgetown-signee Ryan Mutombo posted 24 points and 4 blocks while freshman Christian Anderson scored 13 points.

Northeast-Macon 63, Dodge County 60 OT: Milandre Pettigrew finished with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals. Zion Odoms had 14 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks. Cadricas Stanley posted 10 points and 8 rebounds while Travion Solomon recorded 8 points and 5 assists. DeQuavious Coon pitched in 8 points. Dodge County was led by My’Sean Williams’ 21 points. Jaedon McClendon scored 13 and Lamarie Mitchell added 10.

Class A-Private

St. Francis 69, No. 1 Mt. Pisgah 55: Alabama-signee Jusaun Holt piled in 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Drew Robinson scored 18 points and Seth Hubbard had 12. Kai Simmons double-doubled with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

No. 2 Providence Christian 61, No. 8 Holy Innocents’ 59: Holy Innocents’ was led by Garrison Powell’s 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Landon Karadian had 13 points and 8 rebounds while Justin Wilson pitched in 12 points and 5 assists. Harrison Verlander collected 8 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals.

No. 6 Christian Heritage 55, Darlington 48: Jax Abernathy scored 20 points. Zundra Jackson had 13 points and 4 steals while Nash Bingham added 12 points. Evan Lester scored 9. Darlington was led by DJ Johnson’s 11 points and 7 rebounds. Patrick Shelley added 9 points and 8 rebounds.

North Cobb Christian 79, Excel Christian 56: Tre Chatman (19), Jack Hewitt (17) and Christian Hernandez (10) all reached double figures.

Lakeview Academy 52, Pinecrest Academy 45:Harrison Cooper and Conley Millwood each scored 14 to lead the Lions. Declan Weidner added 12 points. Carter Kling pumped in 27 points in the loss. Oscar Lynch had 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 steals.

Mt. Paran 50, Walker 47: Matthew Brown had 13 points while CJ Brown scored 10. Ricky McKenzie added 7 points.

Tallulah Falls 50, Athens Academy 39: Sammy Davis netted 17 points. Devonte Allen scored 14 and Anfernee Hanna had 11.

Class A-Public

No. 1 Drew Charter 94, No. 4 Bowdon 52: JaKobe Strozier and Jaquez Thornton combined for 29 points in the third quarter.  Down two starters, Bowdon was led by Kolton Drummond (15), Tray Wyatt (11) and Seth Farmer (10).

No. 9 Chattahoochee County 78, Stewart County 38: Carlos Dunovant dumped in 20 points. Naketa Ellington scored 16 points and Dexter Holloman netted 12. Rico Daniels (10), Jay Beauford (7), Austin Fox (6) and Eric Josey (5) balanced the attack.

Commerce 64, Lincoln County 61: Ian McConnell scored 21 points. Cayden Lord (14) and Shaquario Sherrod (10) balanced the attack. Lincoln County was led by Frankquon Sherman’s 31 points.

Class AAAAAAA

No. 6 Marietta 53, Walton 50: Chloe Sterling had 23 points and Michigan State-signee Lauren Walker added 15 points and 13 rebounds. Walton was led by Davidson-signee Tomisin Adenupe’s 21 points and Lexy Harris’ 11.

No. 7 Norcross 56, Discovery 50: Jania Akins (21), LaNiya Kenon (12) and Devyne Turner (10) led the Lady Blue.

No. 8 Brookwood 73, No. 9 Parkview 57: Diana Collins had 21 points and 4 steals. Nekaya Williams finished with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Ciera Hall scored 16 points and Amya Durham had 11.

No. 10 North Forsyth 54, Forsyth Central 36: Maddie Erickson netted 17 points.

West Forsyth 50, Lambert 38: Cayla Cowart, Lillian Seitz and Katherine Bottoms all scored 9 points. Calie Thrower and Audrey Anderson netted 6 apiece.

Class AAAAAA

No. 2 Carrollton 63, Alexander 29: In the loss Abby Crawford scored 9 points and Taylor Caldwell had 8.

No. 6 Kell 72, Lassiter 24: Crystal Henderson recorded 19 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals. Sylvia Kahoro scored 11 points and Makyah Favors has 10. Amaya Moss hung 9 points, 21 rebounds, 5 steals and 2 assists while Jamiah Gregory had 9 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocks.

No. 9 River Ridge 56, Cambridge 50: Mataya Gayle pumped in 18 points followed by Caroline Cavallaro’s 16. Chloe Bedora chipped in 9 points.

Johns Creek 58, Centennial 31: Paris Miller scored 21 points and Nylah Nuri had 15 in the win. Evelina Davlakou added 9 points.

Kennesaw Mountain 52, Osborne 44: Madi Clark had 24 points and freshman Jada Bates scored 12. Lawson State-signee Shanique Reid put in 12 points.

Sequoyah 51, Chattahoochee 34: Elle Blatchford finished with 14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals. Susanna Rogers added 11 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. University of Charleston-signee Deja Rakestraw contributed 9 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists.

Riverwood 58, Creekview 41: Abby Martin scored 9 points in the loss. Kacie Williams and Delia Guy netted 8 apiece.  Mackenzi Salas scored 6.

Grovetown 64, Heritage-Conyers 46: Jada Porter poured in 32 points to surpass the 1,000-point mark in her career.

East Paulding 74, Paulding County 37: Halle Verkerk netted 21 points followed by Lucy Stewart’s 12.  Cynthia Engler and Cora Barger scored 9 apiece.

Bradwell Institute 49, Brunswick 46: In the loss Shane’ Jackson had 13 points and 15 rebounds. Shakardia Cowart netted 12 points and Trinity Harrison scored 8 points.

Class AAAAA

No. 4 Cass 63, Cartersville 28: Londaisha Smith tallied 20 points, 12 rebounds and 8 steals. Mikaela Jackson and Makyera Baldwin scored 7 apiece.

No. 6 Loganville 62, Jackson County 29: Lenoir-Rhyne-signee Rose Bone, Janae Charles, Sydney Bolden and Emaya Lewis all scored 9 points. Jailin Hebert had 7 and Hannah Barela chipped in 6.

No. 8 Hiram 40, Calhoun 24: Camryn O’Neil scored 11 points followed by 9 apiece from Imani Smith and K’la Reddick. Calhoun was led by Ashlyn Brzozoski’s 8 points and Maggie McBrayer’s 7.

No. 10 Greenbrier 63, Clarke Central 22: Brooklyn Begley (22), Sydney Peake (18) and Jordan Tanksley (13) balanced the Lady Pack.

No. 1 Luella 71, No. 9 McDonough 60: Furman-signee Jada Session had 20 points and 17 rebounds while Ariana Dyson posted 18 points, 13 rebounds and 3 blocks. Milani Smith had 15 points and 5 rebounds. Coppin State-commit Cortney Gardner tallied 14 points and 5 steals.

No. 6 Baldwin 66, Rutland 35: Tamia Smith netted 22 points while Madison Ruff scored 14 and Nykeisha Thornton added 10. Sanaa Ross finished with 7 points.

North Oconee 43, Flowery Branch 39: Annika Bonds had 13 points and 7 rebounds while Maddy Dickens scored 13 points. Aiyanna Peavy added 9 points.

Heritage-Catoosa 32, Central-Carrollton 28: Zoey Haberland had 8 points in the loss while Izzy Ripatti scored 7. West Virginia Tech-signee Rachel Wilson grabbed 12 rebounds.

Cedartown 92, Ridgeland 33: KeKe Turner scored 23 points. Qiana Watson added 15 points followed by Zoe Pasley’s 14 and Marycille Brumby’s 12.

Cairo 61, Monroe 47: Leah Perry exploded for 21 points and 17 rebounds. Chambria Vicks had 15 points and 9 rebounds. Ambria Vicks pitched in 14 points and 5 rebounds.

Class AAA

No. 4 Coahulla Creek 60, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe 27: Kenley Woods (16), Brinkley Kate Reed (11) and Shorter-signee Katelyn Richards (10) balanced the Colts.

No. 7 GAC 65, Salem 19: Jaci Bolden (19), Kaleigh Addie (18) and Sydney Lucas (11) overpowered Salem.

Central-Macon 49, Pike County 45: Taliah Grier had 16 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Trazur Cooper collected 14 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 7 steals while McKenzie Evans finished with 9 points, 15 rebounds and 3 blocks. TaNiya Pryor chipped in 4 points, 2 rebounds and 3 steals.

Class AA

No. 2 Elbert County 68, Union County 36: Aaniyah Allen had 23 points and 6 steals while Niya Moon chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Terrace Hester contributed 10 points and 7 steals. Haely Umble scored 7 points, Jamia Allen had 6 and Jameria Allen netted 4.

Class A-Private

No. 1 Hebron Christian 67, No. 5 Galloway 54: Samford-signee Nicole Azar dumped in 27 points and 3 assists. Fellow Samford-signee Carly Heidger had 17 points and 7 rebounds. Jessie Parish tallied 11 points and 6 boards.

No. 3 Mt. Paran 61, Walker 12: Kara Dunn collected 20 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 steals. Kaylynn Kirklen added 16 points and 6 rebounds. Katelyn Dunning posted 8 points, 9 assists and 4 steals.

No. 8 Wesleyan 80, Atlanta International 11: Georgia State-signee Alyssa Phillip erupted for 35 points and 15 rebounds. Freshman Chit Chat Wright tacked on 12 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Imani Washington scored 12 points and Sade Ojanuga had 8 points and 8 rebounds.

No. 9 Calvary Day 77, Savannah Christian 29: Mahkayla Premo posted 22 points and 7 rebounds. Hannah Cail had 16 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. Cayden Fleming scored 15 points.

Tallulah Falls 48, No. 10 Athens Academy 37: Denika Lightbourne scored 17 points and Veronaye Charlton added 15 in the win. Katy Corbett scored 8 points. The Spartans were led by India Sheats’ 12 points and 6 rebounds in the loss. Meredith Reynolds had 10 points and Jaila Salley tallied 9 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.

Lakeview Academy 54, Pinecrest Academy 47 OT: Joelle Snyder poured in 34 points and 5 rebounds. Sidney Corbin  had 12 points, 4 assists and 4 steals. Annie Nivens grabbed 8 rebounds.

 No. 6 Trion 62, Gordon Lee 39: Linzie Thompson (11) and Chloe Murdock (10) led the Bulldogs.
