PRO Resolution – The Return: Sleepers

Bubbles Williams
2021 5-4 PG Kenzia Williams – Monroe
Out of Albany, “Bubbles” caught my eye with her aggressive play. Kenzia Williams is an athletic guard that makes things happen on offense. She’s a natural playmaker that can breakdown the defense off the dribble. Williams knows how to get to the rim and has the wiggle and creativity to shake defenders. She showed that she can hit the open three as well, but most of her offense comes when she sets her sight on the rim. Bubbles is adept at playing an up-tempo style and has upside as an active defender.

Sariya Henry
2022 5-11 F Sariya Henry – Grayson
Moving from Loganville to Grayson, Sariya Henry will turn some heads at the Class 7A level. Henry’s motor is undeniable. She’s got great length and a nose for the ball inside. Henry can rebound in traffic and can alter shots up close. Her game is starting to grow as she tries to transition full-time to the wing. Right now she’s most effective in the paint but with continued work you may see her game open up even more.

Joze Baker2021 5-2 PG Joze Baker – Parkview
A tough compact guard, Joze Baker has the speed and strength to make an impact her senior season. Last year, she averaged 1.7 assists and 2.1 steals as a pass-first point guard. On Sunday she used her quickness to blow past defenders and get to the hoop. Baker can get shifty when needed and has the frame to be able to hold off the defense. While she won’t lead Parkview in scoring, her value as a ballhandler and perimeter defender is crucial to the Panthers’ success.

Adrianna Jones
2021 5-7 G Adrianna Jones – Greenforest
The more you watch Adrianna Jones, the more you can appreciate her consistency. Jones, isn’t flashy and you may not be able to pick her out of a crowd, but her IQ is apparent with her all-around steady floor game. Jones can knock down threes at a high clip, help on the glass, defend on the perimeter and can facilitate on offense. AD will find ways to impact games without scoring and tallies stats across the box score. Small schools looking for a safe get should give Jones a look.

Camryn James2021 6-2 C Camryn James – Jones County
Back from a left knee injury that cost her her junior season, Camryn James will make an impact right away even if she’s not fully at 100%. James’ leg looked stiff at times with a bulky brace on it, but that still couldn’t stop her potential from shining through. James handles the ball well for her size and can advance the ball up court in spurts when needed. Camryn is skilled for a big. She showed off a soft touch from the mid-range and even the three-point line. James made quality decisions with the ball as a passer. She understood how to post up with a wide base and even had a nice up-and-under move to score inside. James will get better and better the farther removed she gets away from her injury.
