Nimah Ibidunni2027 6-2 F Nimah Ibidunni – Team Elite Hubbard – Alexander
More D-I offers have begun to trickle in and rightfully so. Nimah is one of my favorite post players in the state. Her reliability and productivity are a safety blanket for any coach to have. Nimah quietly yet steadily dominates games. Her skill and polish are advanced, allowing her to beat the opposition in a variety of ways. She can hit from the mid-range and flashes signs of being able to become a consistent three-point shooter down the road. Her nimble footwork off the dribble gets her to the rim when facing up and attacking. Nimah is an active rebounder and has a multitude of moves to score with her back to the basket. Locked up against HER Elite EYBL, it was Ibidunni who had the game-saving block of 6-foot-7 Jayla Forbes in overtime to secure a 62-58 win. With a plethora of D-I players on both teams, Nimah shined the brightest with 15 points, 13 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 blocks. Louisiana Tech offered in late April joining 2025 offers from Stony Brook, Liberty, Penn, Furman, Buffalo and West Georgia. With the GBCA quickly approaching, I expect her offer list to double. When it comes to complete frontcourt players, there aren’t many better in Georgia’s 2027 class than Nimah.

Madison Bennett2027 5-4 PG Madison Bennett – Porter Sports – Trinity Christian
New Orleans offered in March after Bennett enjoyed an explosive breakout season in which she averaged 22.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 3.3 steals with 115 made threes and a victory in the GHSA Three-Point Contest. While Madison can pull from anywhere over halfcourt, the tiny’s guard’s speed is what really allows her to be so disruptive on both ends. Bennett is a blur, especially in the open court after forcing turnovers. Her quickness with the ball helps her get to her spots as her pull-up jumper is a major weapon. In a 72-69 win over 16U Wood Elite E40, Bennett took over in the second half with 14 points as she splashed a pair of threes and scored in transition. Madison finished with 18 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. D-I and D-II programs will be in a fight to secure her offensive firepower.

2027 5-9 W Sydney Donaldson – Porter Sports – Westover
The 229’s Sydney Donaldson made a name for herself at Peach Games showcasing her athletic wiry length. Standing around 5-foot-9, Donaldson is a do-everything guard for Westover. While she doesn’t have as much burden to score the ball with Porter Sports, Sydney still manages to stuff the stat sheet with her energy. Her defensive prowess stood out against 16U Wood Elite E40, shooting gaps for steal after steal. Sydney finished with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 steals. She went 6-8 from the foul line and found four field goals in the paint via transition and putbacks. Donaldson is a sneaky diamond in the rough that should draw recruitment along the D-II, NAIA and JUCO levels.

2027 5-8 G Harmony Franklin – Porter Sports – Columbus
Harmony Franklin caught my eye with her energy and athleticism in the backcourt. The flag football star was a bright spot at Columbus where she averaged 15.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks as a junior. Rangy with a nose for the ball, Franklin made splash plays in the second half against 16U Wood Elite E40 after a scoreless first half. Harmony went for 10 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 5 steals and 2 blocks. She scored on a long jumper along with a drive in the halfcourt. Harmony pitched in a pair of putbacks and ran the floor for another hoop. Continuing to add consistent range to her jump shot will help her upside, but Harmony’s effort alone could draw some college attention.

Michelle Ezumah2027 5-11 F Michelle Ezumah – Redline Davis – Lanier
It is surprising that Michelle has no known offers to date but that will surely change quickly. Ezumah is a game wrecking presence with her length, athleticism and non-stop motor. Standing around 5-foot-11, Ezumah habitually plays closer to that of a 6-foot-2 post. Michelle is a dominant rebounder and an extremely effective rim protector. She has elite leaping ability, a pogo stick off the ground with her second jump. Michelle is ambidextrous when finishing around the rim, the righty equally as strong with her left hand. While she excels at cleaning up mistakes as a last line of defense, with how well Michelle runs she can be impactful at the top of a press chasing the ball and trapping. When Ezumah clears rebounds, she’s a gazelle in the open floor with how she pushes coast-to-coast. Part of her unteachable athleticism is how she is able to hang in the air to readjust her body to locate the rim when finishing to avoid her shot getting blocked. Michelle was a monster against 16U Wood Elite E40, posting 15 points, 15 rebounds, 1 assist, 5 steals and 1 block. I don’t think it would be crazy for smaller D-I schools to take a flyer on Ezumah. She has proven over the course of her career the ability to improve each and every season. She has flashed comfortability shooting the corner three. If she is consistently able to stretch the floor with her shot, couple that with her speed off the bounce she could blossom into a steady scorer along with being a multi-positional defensive whiz at the next level. D-II programs should get involved ASAP before it is too late.

Peyton Denmark2027 5-11 W Peyton Denmark – Redline Davis – Buford
Now a senior, the toolsy Peyton Denmark has a chance to stick on recruiting boards with a strong summer. Her best was on display against 16U Wood Elite E40 as her versatility stood out with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks. Denmark has slowly yet steadily added strength to her slender frame over the course of her career and she benefited from it on Saturday as she played stronger with the ball but more importantly, played with purpose. Holding traits of a 3&D candidate in college, Peyton nailed a corner three and did a nice job using her length to wall up on defense, swallowing up shots of smaller guards when they tried to drive on her. All the skills are in place for a breakthrough senior season. Opportunity and consistency within those opportunities will determine how her senior season ends up. Regardless, there is a lot in Peyton’s package to recruit.

Lindsey Henry2027 5-11 PF Lindsey Henry – Wood Elite Clark – South Paulding
Coming from great genes including a father who played in the NFL, Lindsey Henry is unsurprisingly a physical workhorse who can dominate on the low block. The double-double machine averaged 10.4 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.8 steals and 2.5 blocks as a junior. While Lindsey can simply overpower opponents with limited polish if she wanted, Henry does have highly skilled footwork which makes her production that much more impressive and gives her a much higher ceiling at the next level. Lindsey has an impressive arsenal with her back to the basket. She uses up-and-under step-through moves and utilizes two dribbles middle before drop stepping back to seal off her defender with her elbows for strong finishes with either hand. Reinhardt and Webster both offered in April. Though it has taken some time, it looks like Lindsey’s recruitment is finally gaining traction after she first caught my eye at 2024 GBCA Live. I would have to imagine D-II offers are right around the corner.

2027 5-9 PF Lindsey Gabel – Wood Elite Clark – Mt. Paran
Lindsey is a tough-nosed glue guy with her strength in the paint. Gabel has a strong base which she uses to hold off seals for over-the-top lobs. While she’s only about 5-foot-9, her physicality when it comes to carving out space allows her to be effective against taller opposition. Though scoring isn’t a huge emphasis in her game, Lindsey’s grit – especially on defense and the backboards – helps win a ton of games. The weight room warrior’s cultural impact in a locker room could be a major boon at the NAIA or D-III level.
