Anaya Ferguson2026 6-2 C Anaya Ferguson – Fayette County
The Class 4A Most Improved Player is well on her way to cementing herself as a D-I prospect. Locked up with established recruit Lyric Green of Dodge County, it was Ferguson who won the battle, holding Green scoreless as Fayette County clobbered the Squaws 45-26. Anaya posted 9 points, 11 rebounds, 4 steals and 4 blocks. With her size and wingspan, Ferguson can routinely dominate the paint by altering shots and eliminating second chance points. Anaya keeps the ball high when finishing around the basket and has intriguing long-term upside with her jump shot. Ferguson went 3-4 from the foul line showing a soft touch and also stepped outside to shoot the three. Anaya’s quiet ascension in the 2026 class might get a little louder after a strong weekend of work at Lakepoint.

Claire Carlson
2026 5-9 PG Claire Carlson – Cherokee Bluff
It is Claire Carlson’s team at Cherokee Bluff. With Bristol Kersh missing in action due to soccer, Carlson thrived in her newfound role being pressed to not only facilitate but to hunt her shot more often as well. I love when Claire is aggressive. The lanky guard is a tremendous passer with great court vision, but I like her the most when she looks to score more. I think she should have the green light to be a little more selfish which in turn will benefit the Bears. She came out gunning against Colquitt County with 26 points on six threes and followed up with 15 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals and 1 block in a 49-25 loss to Baldwin, drilling four more three-pointers. Claire gets her shot off the dribble with deep range. Her two-way skill set gives her value as a pesky defender. D-II programs should start getting involved soon. If Claire is able to continue to add to her game by getting downhill with consistency, D-I looks might come to fruition as well.

Devin Bockman2026 5-6 PG Devin Bockman – Midtown
I love the consistency of Devin Bockman’s game and I continue to view her as one of the best point guards in Georgia’s 2026 class. Bockman plays with great pace, not only pushing the ball on offense but helping set the tone for an aggressive attacking Midtown defense. Devin’s the complete package on offense. She finishes with both hands downhill and is a great shooter, stopping on a dime to hit pull-ups in the mid-range and also a very good three-point shooter both off the catch and off the dribble. What doesn’t show up in the box score is Devin’s mettle. The bigger the stage, the better Bockman plays. She is a clutch performer that routinely hits big shots and elevates those around her. In a loss to Woodward Academy, Bockman tallied 13 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals. Devin feels like a priority target for D-II schools and a sneaky good option for Low Major D-I programs.

Hailey Wortmann2026 6-1 C Hailey Wortmann – Midtown
In a 53-37 loss to Woodward Academy, a game Midtown led 25-24 at the half, Hailey Wortmann was a bright spot taking full advantage of her height advantage, double-doubling with 16 points and 12 rebounds. The leap Hailey has made in 12 months from last year at GBCA to this year is quite impressive. Wortmann looks much stronger around the rim, getting more lift when finishing. Wortmann’s touch gets better and better as well. Hailey shot 4-5 from the line against Woodward Academy and scored on three putbacks along with a short corner jumper. Her best move came when she drop-stepped middle and scored with a hook shot. Wortmann has blossomed into an interior anchor for Midtown and one of the top double-double producers in the Atlanta area. College offers are right around the corner.

Bella Ragone2026 6-2 W Bella Ragone – Mill Creek
The five-star guard got busy early on against North Paulding, burying a pair of threes to start her day before finishing with 17 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. Just about every High Major program has offered the dynamic lefty. Bella is such a tough cover with her height, quick first step and lethal shooting ability. She is able to get her shot off whenever she wants and is good at freezing defenders with stop-and-go moves which she implements when getting to the rim. With her scoring prowess, size and athleticism, one could argue that Ragone has the highest ceiling in Georgia.

Madison Moody
2026 5-5 G Madison Moody – Cherokee
Madison caught fire in the second half against Tift County, netting four threes as she finished with 16 points, 1 rebound and 3 assists. Moody gets great lift on her three-point shot and can go on scoring binges once she sees a shot drop. Madison is a tough-minded player. While her jump shot is her top weapon, Moody isn’t a soft finesse player and isn’t afraid to mix it up and play with an edge. I expect college programs to start adding Madison to their recruiting board. Her dynamic outside shooting can play at all levels.

2026 5-7 G Alasia Montgomery – Taylor County
Alasia was a lone bright spot in a loss to Wilcox County, filling up the stat sheet with 12 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Montgomery has good speed with the ball and plays bigger than her listed height thanks to her athleticism and motor. She gets on the offensive glass, converts defense into offense and can finish coast-to-coast with her left hand.

Kyla Cantey2026 5-9 G Kyla Cantey – River Ridge
River Ridge routed Newton 48-19. Kyla Cantey set the tone with her defense, forcing turnovers and scoring in transition. Cantey scored off three steals and had an And-1 fastbreak finish with her right hand. The southpaw recorded 14 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals. Adding a consistent outside shot to her arsenal will allow her to reach her ceiling. She sank a corner three against the Rams. While she doesn’t have any known offers just yet, Cantey is teetering on the line between D-I and D-II. A strong final two seasons should warrant her offers at both levels.

Makayla Roberson2026 5-9 G Makayla Roberson – River Ridge
The peanut gallery was questioning whether Makayla shoots the ball well enough to get D-I offers. My opinion? I think she shoots the ball more than adequately enough and it seems South Alabama thinks so too as they popped an offer today on June 17. Over my two-plus years of watching Roberson play, I’ve seen her hit plenty of threes, but the separating factor that leads me to believe Makayla is a D-I guard isn’t whether she hits enough jumpers or not, but the fact that she is a true, proven two-way guard that routinely draws the assignment of guarding other teams’ best player. Unlike other standouts, Roberson doesn’t get to hide on defense and has to exert energy chasing around star players. Her stamina and durability are impressive when you consider she still has enough energy to hit shots and play make on offense, coming off a season in which she averaged 12.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.3 steals while shooting 32-105 (30%) from three and 63-78 (81%) from the foul line. In River Ridge’s win over Newton, Roberson scored on two left-handed drives and finished with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Further proving how much is asked of Makayla that doesn’t always show in the box score, Roberson is the team’s primary inbounder and often does a good job of finding the open man for easy hoops out of BLOBs, highlighting how much trust the coaching staff puts in her decision making.

Callan Ledford2026 5-8 G Callan Ledford – Murray County
Callan Ledford was in a zone in Murray County’s 64-45 win over Lambert. Named Class 2A Most Underrated, Ledford shined against the 6A competition, dropping in four threes en route to finishing with 22 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Ledford scored from all three levels. She hit pull-up jumpers, floaters and finished with both hands downhill. Callan does the little things well and is adept at catching opponents napping by changing speeds.

Caroline Young2026 5-11 F Caroline Young – Milton
Caroline looked stronger than when I last saw her in March, adding some muscle to her frame. Young is an interesting long-term prospect. Standing nearly 6-foot tall, Caroline can be utilized in a variety of ways. She is capable of picking up full court and often spends time guarding on the perimeter, troubling smaller guards with her length. Young comes away with steals in traps and is a reliable rim protector that alters shots inside. Caroline has some 3&D in her game. In a 40-28 win over Stockbridge, Young drained a pair of corner threes and had two buckets in transition, finishing with 11 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 block.

Gabbie Gliatta2026 5-9 G Gabbie Gliatta – North Forsyth
With no London Weaver in the picture, Gabbie Gliatta got to shoulder the scoring burden and did well, netting 13 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in a 35-33 loss to Maynard Jackson. Working her way back from an ankle injury, Gabbie had pep in her step, able to score off the bounce with a step-back jumper, a three-pointer and a floater. Gliatta drew fouls when attacking the hoop, shooting 6-6 from the line. With the injury now behind her, Gabbie figures to continue trending upward as college coaches slowly start looking at their 2026 list.
