In Class 6A, No. 1 Newton toppled Class 3A-1A Private No. 3 Holy Innocents’ 67-45 at Girls Night Out, Kandice Shepard scoring 21 points. No. 2 North Paulding beat Langston Hughes at Girls Night Out 51-29 while No. 4 Cherokee raced past Alexander 81-47 at the Wood Elite Tip-Off, Central Georgia Tech-signee Madison Moody netting 21 points. No. 5 Archer rises in the poll after knocking off Class 5A No. 1 River Ridge 71-57 at Girls Night Out while No. 6 Grayson beat Class A D-I No. 10 Central-Macon 77-35 at the PRO Southside Showdown. No. 8 Etowah knocked Hillgrove (1-1) out of the Top 10 with a 54-43 win at the Sandy’s Spiel Tip-Off Classic as Caitlyn Garcia collected 21 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 6 steals and 3 blocks while Savannah Aparicio tallied 18 points and 8 rebounds. No. 10 Westlake debuts in the poll after topping Class 5A No. 5 Morrow 56-41.

There are no changes in Class 5A. No. 1 River Ridge lost to Class 6A No. 5 Archer at Girls Night Out 71-57. No. 2 Milton defeated Class 3A-1A Private No. 8 Whitefield Academy 77-60, Aaleanna Milord (21), Deyva Davis (20) and Caroline Young (18) combining for 59 points. No. 3 New Manchester beat Class 2A No. 5 Hardaway 62-25 at Girls Night Out. No. 4 Brunswick dispatched of Lowndes 59-42. No. 5 Morrow beat last week’s Class 4A No. 10 Southwest DeKalb 57-53 before falling at newly ranked Class 6A No. 10 Westlake 56-41.

Class 4A No. 1 Creekside escaped Class 3A No. 3 Sandy Creek 81-77 as CeCe Dennis poured in 43 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. No. 2 Marist crushed Class 3A-1A Private No. 4 Galloway 85-59 on the road. No. 3 North Oconee won at Class 3A No. 6 Oconee County 66-49. No. 6 Midtown fell to Private No. 4 Galloway 61-54. Southwest DeKalb (1-1) falls out of the Top 10 with a 57-53 loss to Class 5A No. 5 Morrow. No. 10 Cartersville cracks into the poll following a 65-28 rout of Class 2A No. 8 Carver-Columbus at Girls Night Out.

Class 3A No. 3 Sandy Creek fell against Class 4A No. 1 Creekside 81-77, Morghan Reckley totaling 29 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. No. 6 Oconee County lost to Class 4A No. 3 North Oconee 66-49. No. 10 Pickens slides two spots with a 61-46 loss to Class A D-I No. 6 Lamar County at the Sandy’s Spiel Tip-Off Classic, Ellison Steinhauer posting 21 points, 12 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block.

In Class 2A, No. 1 Josey held off Grovetown 50-47 at the Girls Only Tip-Off. No. 3 Columbia lost at Carrollton at Girls Night Out 61-55. No. 4 Thomson fended off Class A D-II No. 2 Washington-Wilkes 39-33 at the Girls Only Tip-Off. No. 5 Hardaway lost at Girls Night Out to Class 5A No. 3 New Manchester 62-25. No. 6 Morgan County moves up a spot after a 3-0 week featured wins over Class A D-II No. 2 Washington-Wilkes (49-43), Dacula (54-43) and KIPP Atlanta (60-43). No. 8 Carver-Columbus lost to newly ranked Class 4A No. 10 Cartersville 65-28 at Girls Night Out. No. 10 Tattnall County clings onto their position after a 53-51 loss to Brantley County.

Class A D-I No. 3 Rabun County won at Seckinger 73-51, Adelyn Thompson scoring 19 points, freshman Millie Southards tallying 18 points, 5 assists and 5 steals and Jaydynn Cohee contributing 14 points and 10 rebounds.  No. 6 Lamar County is up one spot with a 61-46 win over last week’s Class 3A No. 8 Pickens at the Sandy’s Spiel Tip-Off Classic, Ja’Ziyah Foster dominating in the second half to finish with 22 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.  No. 10 Central-Macon lost 77-35 to Class 6A No. 6 Grayson at the PRO Southside Showdown.

Class A D-II saw No. 2 Washington-Wilkes suffer two close losses against Top 10 teams, beat 49-43 by Class 2A No. 6 Morgan County and 39-33 by Class 2A No. 4 Thomson. No. 9 Bryan County climbs a spot with a 3-0 week highlighted by a 46-38 win over Wayne County.

There is no movement in Class 3A-1A Private. No. 1 Hebron Christian beat No. 5 GAC 62-35 on the road. No. 3 Holy Innocents’ lost to Class 6A No. 1 Newton 67-49 at Girls Night Out. No. 4 Galloway was trounced by Class 4A No. 2 Marist 85-59 but bounced back with a 61-54 win at Class 4A No. 6 Midtown. No. 7 Mt. Paran survived Northview 54-52 while No. 8 Whitefield Academy lost 77-60 at Milton. No. 10 Providence Christian fell 48-38 at Parkview.
