2028 6-6 C Joseph Griffin – Salem
A big, strong post, Griffin does the dirty work for Salem. He’s a grinder on the interior, carving out space for rebounds. Joseph does a good job protecting the basket as a sturdy positional defender who walls up and does his work early to not get buried deep on seals. Griffin may not be super skilled when it comes to handling the ball on the perimeter, but that’s not his game and instead is very effective at doing what is asked of him as a physical garbage guy. Griffin collected 4 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in a 73-38 rout of Milton, FL.

2028 6-6 C Jamari Gatson – McEachern
I liked what I saw from the Excel Christian transfer off the bench against Riviera Prep. Facing a massive front line, Gatson got in the game and immediately competed, banging in the paint using his physicality to fight for second and third chance opportunities. The offensive rebounder plucked rebounds with two hands as he hunted caroms. Jamari finished with 2 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. I like his glue-guy garbage man approach inside.

2028 6-11 C Corey Harris – SACA
At 6-foot-11, Corey has elite size. He is still raw and maturing, but his length is incredibly disruptive as he swats away shots. Harris doesn’t touch the ball in the post much putting the onus on him to get it off the backboard. When he high points rebounds and keeps the ball high to finish, he is effective.

2028 6-4 PF Brayden Henry – Valdosta
I liked what the physical lefty did inside for the Wildcats. He wasn’t bashful about using his size, crashing to glass to convert putbacks with both hands. He uses his shoulders well when attacking off the dribble from 12-feet. Brayden went 2-3 from the foul line against Lovett, tallying 8 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block. Listed at 6-foot-4, Henry plays bigger than his height.
