2024 6-4 SG Luke Brooks – Decatur
Decatur trailed Mill Creek 33-27 at the half as Luke Brooks was held scoreless. That would change over the final 16 minutes as Brooks powered the Bulldog comeback, scoring 13 of his game-high 17 points in the fourth quarter to pair with his 5 rebounds and 2 steals as Decatur rallied to defeat the Hawks 55-50. Brooks netted 13 of Decatur’s 18 fourth quarter points scoring on cuts, threes and free throws. Luke knocked down a pair of threes and went 5-5 from the foul line. D-III programs are tracking the shooter.

2024 6-3 G John Carreker – Decatur
John Carreker made a positive first impression, the unsigned senior collecting 10 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Carreker has good size and athleticism on the perimeter. He showed the ability to create offense off the dribble and did well moving without the ball in Decatur’s cut-heavy offense, scoring the go-ahead hoop on a back-cut. John holds value on defense, capable of defending 1-3.

2026 6-1 G Jason Welborn – Decatur
Jason Welborn was in the middle of everything for Decatur. He found cutters, helped on the glass, was effective as an on-ball defender and scored when needed. Welborn converted two steals into transition buckets, scored on a putback and baseline out of bounds set and went 2-2 from the line finishing with 10 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Welborn is one of Decatur’s most versatile pieces. With only six players seeing important minutes in their 55-50 win, Welborn’s active floor game is crucial to the Bulldogs’ success.

2024 6-5 SG Stephen Jackson – Mill Creek
There’s no denying that Stacky is a smooth scorer. When he’s on, he can score with some of the best in the state. At 6-foot-5 his quick release jump shot looks effortless. He can free himself with one-dribble pull-ups and can get to the hoop and finish in a variety of ways. Jackson has the natural tools to be an impactful two-way player. Playing with a high motor on both ends will help him unlock his potential. Jackson netted four threes en route to 17 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist in a loss to Decatur.

2026 6-6 F Braxton Rembert – Mill Creek
I really liked what I saw from Braxton Rembert on Thursday. At first glance, I would have never suspected Rembert to be a football safety due to his height and his lanky build, his jersey practically hanging off him. But what Rembert may lack in physical mass, he makes up for with his effort. Braxton’s activity level was through the roof, rebounding, altering shots and scoring dirty work baskets. Rembert scored on a drive, three putbacks and an alley oop layup. He drew a charge on defense. Braxton has a nice future ahead.
