2026 6-1 W Bella Ragone – Mill Creek
The sky is the limit for the No. 1 ranked freshman in Georgia’s 2026 class. Coaches have raved about her do-everything ability and I mentioned back in June that she could immediately make Mill Creek relevant in her first year on campus. After just 12 total wins over the past two seasons, the Hawks are sitting at  9-5 with Ragone leading the charge, averaging over 20 points per game. Fresh off a visit to Tennessee, Bella poured in 20 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals and 1 block in three quarters of play in a 51-12 rout of Forsyth Central. Ragone has elite genetics starting with father Dave, a name Atlanta Falcons fans would know. Bella is long, strong and mobile. She’s a true guard on the perimeter, capable of pushing the ball, seeing the floor and of course shooting. Bella loves her jump shot and rightfully so. She didn’t have her most efficient game on Monday, but she settled in and heated up as the game wore on, hitting a pair of threes to go with three other mid-range jumpers. Bella’s shot is difficult to contest. The lefty has such a size advantage and a quick release. She’s a fluid scorer with both hands. I would have liked to see her attack the basket a little more but she worked the ball around when she wasn’t looking to score against the 2-3 zone. What I really liked was how engaged Ragone was as an on-ball defender. Her lateral quickness and length can be overwhelming. She sits in her stance and provides consistent effort, often leading to tipped passes or steals. Bella is a no-brainer High Major player. She is starting with such a high floor at such a young age. With how polished Ragone already is, it’s a scary thought to think about just how good she could become if she continues to improve over the next four years. She’s a college-ready player right now.

2023 5-9 W Molly Quincy – West Forsyth
Quincy really emerged a season ago as a high-energy hustler and provided that same spark against Mountain View in a 53-29 win, playing a key role with Katherine Bottoms now out for the season. Molly finds herself in the right place at the right time. She’s quick to loose balls and is a competitive defender. What really caught my eye was her passing. She delivered on-the-money bounce passes splitting the defense to backdoor cutters. Molly finished with 8 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals. She’s a quality option for D-III/NAIA schools.

2024 5-6 G Nina Solomon – Mountain View
I appreciated how aggressive Nina was looking for her shot. With Mountain View struggling to keep pace, Solomon stepped up as a shot maker, hitting pull-up jumpers from the mid-range. She was able to find creases in the defense and stop before running into West Forsyth’s length. Solomon rebounded exceptionally well for her size, scoring on an And-1 putback. The hard-playing guard finished with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 block.

2025 5-9 W Mackenzie Weyer – Lambert
Lambert has built a nice young nucleus with one of the centerpieces being Mackenzie Weyer. The 5-foot-9 wing scored from all three levels in the Longhorns’ 62-29 win over Parkview. I loved how easily Weyer was able to score with both hands. The righty converted on a left-handed floater and a southpaw And-1 post hook. Weyer made an impact inside and out. She scored on a pair of putbacks and ran the floor in transition for easy buckets, all while stepping outside to hit the corner three. Weyer can shoot the ball off dribble combos, making her a threat on the perimeter at all times. She did a nice job rebounding and was effective in the press. Mackenzie tallied 18 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals and 1 block.

2025 5-8 G Annarose Tyre – Lambert
Tyre keeps the pressure on the opponents at all times. The feathery guard attacks in both phases of the game. On offense, she’s a foul magnet when getting to the hoop. She uses a quick first step and is a keen contact creator. Annarose plays with a high motor. She probes defenses looking to find the open man and is a pest in the full court press, collecting steals and starting fast breaks off rebounds. Tyre went 8-8 from the foul line en route to finishing with 12 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.

2024 5-6 G Rebecca Mathew – Parkview
Mathew was a major bright spot for Parkview, scoring 15 of their 29 points. Rebecca netted five threes, doing so with a smooth shot that was never far off the mark. She sank two from the corners and did damage from the wings. Rebecca is a good piece for Parkview to rebuild with. As she adds more to her arsenal, she will become even more effective.
