Ava Andrews2025 6-1 W Ava Andrews – North Paulding
A perfect 4-0 week from North Paulding saw Ava Andrews take a major leap in front of D-I schools. The strides Ava has made as a perimeter player are noteworthy. The physical tools have always been elite. 6-foot-1 and the best athlete on the floor every time out, Andrews has now started to consistently hit the outside shot and has transitioned more and more into becoming a primary ball handler. In a 40-29 win over Campbell, Andrews sank three three-pointers and hit a mid-range jumper. Ava gets great elevation on her shots making it nearly impossible to effectively contest. She has great versatility on defense with her length and quickness and is a jumping jack on the backboards with her bouncy rebounding. Andrews dumped in 11 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal. Ava has always had one of the highest ceilings in the 2025 class and now things are starting to all come together. She could be trending toward Mid-Major and above with her recruitment.

London Weaver2025 6-1 W London Weaver – North Forsyth
There is momentum afoot for London Weaver becoming a cemented D-I prospect. Her performance against New Manchester stole the attention of college coaches. Weaver took over in the second half scoring 11 of her 13 points to guide the Raiders to a 33-27 win. In a battle of southpaws, Weaver outdueled Jocelyn Faison, holding her to two points. London scored from all three levels in impressive fashion. She had a putback, sank two threes, converted an And-1 drive and knocked down a step-back jumper from the mid-range. Weaver’s game has grown considerably. Once a bit hesitant to put the ball on the floor as a youngster, London now excels at using her big guard frame to get downhill and score through contact. Also, it looks as if she has grown another inch since seeing her last season. All the tools are in place for Weaver to take off. As one school affectionately told her after the game, “you made money today.” Stock up.

Briaiah Lewis2024 5-9 W Briaiah Lewis – Midtown
I really loved what I saw out of Midtown. Coming off a breakout 22-9 season advancing to the Class 5A Elite 8 after finishing 14-8 the year before, the Knights are emerging as a program to keep an eye on under Martravious Little who saw great success in Year 1. Briaiah Lewis was named Class 5A Most Underrated after posting 13.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 4.4 steals per game. Lewis’ ability to fill the stat sheet impressed me in person in a 44-32 win over Josey. Lewis has a strong frame and a well-balanced skillset that sees her able to attack both inside and out. She was effective getting to the basket and drawing fouls, using long strides and gathering the ball in traffic before powering up. Lewis finished with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals. She got some colleges talking throughout the week.

Kaleigh Heywood2026 5-9 W Kaleigh Heywood – Collins Hill
One of Georgia’s top freshmen from a season ago, Kaleigh Heywood showed no signs of a potential sophomore slump in a 37-31 win over Banks County. Heywood had her way, getting to get spots in the mid-range and finishing gracefully at the hoop. Kaleigh netted 19 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. She showed extended range with a pair of threes and finished with her off-hand when needed. It shouldn’t take long for Heywood to start popping up on D-I radars.

2026 6-2 W Isabella Ragone – Mill Creek
The freshman All-American put up 17 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 block in a 32-28 loss to Sequoyah. Bella drilled three three-pointers and attacked from the mid-range. Ragone loves using a quick jab step and kicks her leg back to get momentum before attacking downhill. Her rise-and-fire jumper is incredibly difficult to contest. Ragone’s vision as a facilitator helps elevate those around her. She is able to hit teammates with outlet passes and can deliver one-handed bullet passes to open shooters and cutters in the halfcourt. The lefty has an endless ceiling.

Ashlynn Bleisath2025 6-1 W Ashlynn Bleisath – Creekview
I hadn’t sat and watched a full game of Ashlynn Bleisath’s since her freshman year. On Saturday, she closed out GBCA Live with a bang, piling in 18 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks, sinking two threes in the process in a 46-41 win over Central Gwinnett. Her reward? An Anderson offer. I’ve always loved Bleisath’s size and three-point shooting, as does anyone who has ever seen her play. The most positive takeaway from her game for me, was that she didn’t just stand on the perimeter and wait for the ball to be swung to her. She crashed the offensive glass and used her size to her advantage, scoring on four putbacks. Ashlynn is such a mismatch with her stretch-forward capabilities. The next step is to continue to get better and better off the dribble. Bleisath is trending in the right direction and has plenty more offers to come in her future.

Madison McLane2024 5-9 W Madison McLane – Hart County
Madison McLane saves her best performances for me to witness in person. After watching her score a career-high 30 points against Monroe Area this past season, McLane thrived again as the Robin to Dakota Phillips’ Batman, scoring 13 points on Saturday.  The two have a nice synergy as Madison is the main beneficiary of drive-and-kick corner threes. Other than scoring with her jumper, McLane has a knack for sneaking onto the offensive glass to scrounge up putbacks. Three of her buckets came by running the floor in transition. Madison is playing her way onto D-III radars.
