Akil Robinson2027 6-4 G Akil Robinson – KIPP Atlanta
Akil Robinson put forth one of the most impressive performances of camp in KIPP Atlanta’s 77-49 rout of Norcross. Robinson couldn’t miss, burying jumper after jumper to power the Warriors. Akil made things look easy, silky smooth getting to his spots for pull-ups. Robinson exploded for 26 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals, hitting five jumpers in the process, two coming from downtown. He had a handful of dunks as the Warriors overwhelmed the Blue Devils in transition, Akil catching one lob off the backboard. Robinson’s stock rising weekend had college coaches buzzing. With no known offers heading into camp, Akil has firmly entrenched himself on D-I and D-II radars with his explosive athleticism and potent offense.

2027 6-8 W Galen Roberts – KIPP Atlanta
With a slew of college coaches watching, Tookie started off his weekend with a bang, aggressively attacking Norcross to set the tone early. At 6-foot-8, Roberts is a gifted athlete with length, quickness and explosiveness. Galen plays the passing lanes, turning steals into highlight slams. With his size and guard skills, Roberts creates mismatches on the perimeter as he’s too quick for lumbering forwards and he’s too tall to be defended by true guards. He crashed the glass for putbacks using a quick second leap to clean up misses. Tookie posted 16 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal in a 77-49 win against Norcross, scoring 10 points in the first half to help build a commanding 42-27 lead. D-I schools are in contact with the versatile swingman.

2027 6-3 G Fulvio Dos Santos – Norcross
A strong-bodied lefty who loves to get downhill, Fulvio put the pressure on defenses all weekend with his physical assault. Dos Santos throws his weight around when carving out space in the paint to score. He’s good at getting a step on his defender and keeping them in his hip pocket as he powers to the rim. Against KIPP Atlanta, Fulvio scored all six of his baskets in the lane as he finished with 14 points, 3 rebounds and 1 steal. When things are clicking, Dos Santos is a three-level scorer with a steady jump shot that extends out to the three-point line. Schools looking for a mature off-guard that can score in a variety of ways may want to touch base.

Webb Bippus2027 6-5 W Webb Bippus – Roswell
Unlisted on the roster, Webb made a name for himself with his activity on defense. Long and lean with muscle, Bippus showcased impressive footspeed while guarding on the perimeter. He was able to stay in front of smaller guards and a did a good job deflecting passes. Rangy with great switchability, whenever a shot went up, Bippus hunted down the rebound. He didn’t need the ball on offense in order to make a difference, his lone hoop a slam dunk off a steal in the Hornets’ 56-48 win over Franklin County. Bippus collected 2 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 1 block. His physical traits and motor are intriguing.

Nigel Broome2027 6-0 PG Nigel Broome – Christian Heritage
Northwest Georgia’s premier scoring guard put on a show in a 61-55 loss to Newton, nearly rallying the Lions back from a double-digit deficit. Nigel catches fire in the blink of an eye. He’s a sharp athlete with terrific speed with the ball. He’s adept at weaving through traffic in transition and is a threat to stop on a dime for pull-up threes. Broome has a quick release on his jump shot, getting good elevation to rise over contests. He blends strength and balance when burrowing through the defense. At times he can force tough shots due to such a heavy scoring burden being placed on his shoulders, but more often than not, Nigel’s decision making is acute. The binge scorer piled in 27 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals with five made threes. Clark Atlanta offered back in March. More D-II schools should be getting involved.

DJ Hall2027 6-1 PG DJ Hall – Darlington
The defending Class 3A-1A Private State Champs grinded their way to a Blue Division Championship, going 4-0 with wins of two, six and one-point in the championship with a 13-point victory in the semifinals. Involved in the middle of every nail-biting victory was DJ Hall. The hero from the state championship played a big role in Round 2 against Eastside, tallying 15 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block in a low scoring 38-33 victory. Hall sank two mid-range pull-ups and one three to help loosen the defense. The expert playmaker had the ball in his hands in crunch time, helping protect against turnovers while icing the game from the foul line. Hall’s elite vision, timely three-level scoring and stout on-ball defense shape him into one of Georgia’s most complete true point guards. He’s a D-I prospect teetering on breaking through and cementing himself as such.

2027 6-6 F Christian Gatewood – Eastside
I loved how hard Christian played against Darlington. Gatewood is a true workhorse. The double-double machine is tough-nosed and physically strong. He’s good off the dribble with strong straight-line drives. Christian plays off two feet to score through contact while using his pivot in order to gather himself before exploding up to finish. He plays above the rim with slams and is smart when it comes to finishing on the other side with layups to evade shot blockers. Gatewood wipes the glass clean and is a threat to push coast-to-coast. He did just that against the Tigers, converting an And-1 off a euro step as he beat the defense down the floor. At 6-foot-6, Gatewood is an impressive defender. He is a vocal backline anchor that does a good job going vertical to block shots. In a 38-33 loss to Darlington, Christian recorded 13 points, 12 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals and 5 blocks. I expect D-II schools to get involved sooner rather than later. I like Gatewood’s value.

2027 6-8 C James Lee – Morrow
Offers have begun to trickle in for James Lee. The improved post has landed bids from Independence Junior College, Columbus State and Clayton State. The game is starting to slow down for Lee who boasts an impressive physical frame. After averaging 1.3 points per game as a sophomore, Lee upped his production to a modest 6.2 points and 6.8 rebounds as a junior. The rising senior double-doubled in all four games at GBCA and looked especially good against Southwest-Macon as he compiled 14 points, 12 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 blocks. James is playing much stronger, letting his natural God-given physical gifts match his skill development. He played with a strong base in the paint, patient when it came to making decisions with his back to the basket. He gathered himself to finish through contact. Lee utilized both hands both when scoring and when snatching rebounds. He threw down two dunks against the Patriots, not bashful about trying to tear down the rim even when he missed slams. His ball skills looked good, flashing the ability to handle on the perimeter in short spurts with between the legs dribbles. It’s exciting to see James’ hard work paying off. He is just scratching the surface of his overall upside and looks in line to have a breakout season as a double-double producer.

Kurston Curry2027 5-11 G Kurston Curry – Hart County
It’s always good to have options. The younger brother of former Hart County star Tahj Johnson (Georgia Southwestern) is now a senior and will have tough decisions to make as both football and basketball programs are starting to recruit Kurston heavily, especially on the gridiron as D-I programs have reached out to the former quarterback making the switch to wide receiver. D-II schools are closely tracking Curry’s development on the hardwood as the hooper at heart has big game. In a 70-46 mauling of Westover, Kurston was dominant with 34 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 6 steals. The All-State guard shined in front of Columbus State serving as the energizer of the Bulldogs’ aggressive full court press. Curry used his athleticism to defend sideline-to-sideline while also playing safety to pick off any lazy passes. Kurston’s high energy motor and bounce make him an effective two-way difference maker. He was locked in with his jump shot, getting great lift on step-back threes, drilling three long balls. Curry was a foul magnet, shooting 8-9 from the stripe featuring three And-1s, one via four-point play. UNC Pembroke offered back in 2025. Curry is one of the most accomplished players in Northeast Georgia. His stock continues to quietly climb.

2027 6-7 F Josiah Daniels – Westover
Not much went right for Westover in a 70-46 loss to Hart County but the frontcourt did well when the Patriots were able to break the Bulldog press. Josiah Daniels was a bright spot recording 15 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Daniels has very good size, not just in height but stature as well. He’s a notable presence capable of scoring around the rim on putbacks but most impressively, on the perimeter with his jumper. Josiah netted a turnaround from the mid-range and added a pull-up three from straight away. Daniels’ stretchy strength warrants some more looks. A tight end on the football field with offers from Georgia Southern and Texas Southern, expect Josiah to play a feature role on the hardwood as he should be able to easily improve upon his 5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game stepping into a newfound go-to guy role after the Patriots graduate their top five scorers ahead of him.

Khalid Jones
2027 5-10 PG Khalid Jones – Langston Hughes
In from Tri-Cities, Khalid Jones thrived in the spotlight at Langston Hughes as a playmaking guard in the middle of everything. Sneak pumped in 19 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals in a 56-45 win over North Cobb Christian, leading all scorers. Jones is a smaller guard, but his shifty quickness with the ball and his knockdown outside shot make up for any shortcomings. He’s a microwave scorer that can drill threes in succession once one drops. Khalid banged home four deep balls against the Eagles. As his jumper forced defenders to play up closer on him, Jones was able to wiggle his way downhill for tough finishes. I liked how he was able to create for others as well, a drive-and-kick distributor who orchestrated fastbreak buckets with pitch ahead passes. Sneak’s play landed him an offer from Huntingdon College, igniting his recruitment heading into his senior season.

2027 5-10 PG Grant Robich – North Cobb Christian
A tough-as-nails competitor who plays with a chip on his shoulder, Grant Robich is fun to watch. He’s a skilled ball handler who creates offense both for himself and others. Robich is great at stopping on a dime for pull-up jumpers. While he is undersized, Grant isn’t afraid to probe the paint, skillfully able to finish in traffic with either hand. His vocal leadership and his hustle are traits that hold North Cobb Christian to a high standard as Robich is often the loudest player on the floor and the first to dive on loose balls. In a loss to Langston Hughes, Grant tallied 13 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist and 2 steals. The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown offered in 2025.

Tim Johnson2027 6-10 F Tim Johnson – Bowdon
As camp wore on, more and more college coaches began to gravitate around Bowdon to watch Timothy Johnson. Slim has made major improvements to his game as his skill level has seen a serious uptick. Johnson had his moments in the Sandy’s Spiel Fall League, but he wasn’t always a two-way impact maker, especially on offense. Fast forward less than 12 months later and Tim is playing with much more purpose and while still rail thin, his ability to play through physicality is improving as well. Johnson moves very well for his size, a threat to roll to the rim to catch lobs if unmarked. The shot blocking machine pounces on rebounds with two hands every chance he gets, able to get to balls even outside of his area. In a loss to Spalding, Johnson’s unique offensive arsenal featured a fluid jump shot, back to the basket moves and the ability to push the ball in transition. Tim did well posting hard. Adding more weight to his frame will allow him to be even more effective at sealing and catching the ball while defenders fight through his back to steal the entry pass. Upon receiving feeds, Johnson scored on a turnaround jumper and utilized a tough-to-reach hook shot. Tim converted on a pair of putbacks, highlighted by a slam dunk in which he ran the floor to clean up the miss. Speaking of running the floor, his final bucket of the day was a coast-to-coast And-1 take. In the half court, Johnson’s shooting touch extended to the three-point line as he nailed a corner triple. Timothy’s expanding ball skills raise his ceiling, showing the knowledge of being able to read defenses off the dribble as a passer. Johnson finished with 15 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 3 blocks in a 61-30 loss. If Johnson is able to continue to develop his body and maintain his skill trajectory, as one college coach predicted, Tim could end up making a lot of money at a Power 4 conference years from now.

Willie Hightower2027 6-3 W Willie Hightower – Spalding
Willie was lights-out against Bowdon, accounting for seven of Spalding’s 11 threes in a 61-30 blowout. Hightower netted 21 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist and 1 steal. Four of his threes came from the corners. At 6-foot-3, Terdell has a solid frame. With Spalding lacking major size, Hightower drew the assignment of defending 6-foot-10 Tim Johnson and did a nice job, holding him to four points in the first half as the Jags built up a 31-16 advantage. Hightower is a sneaky good prospect that should draw some small school looks. He averaged 10.9 points and 5.6 rebounds last year while shooting 64-175 (37%) from deep and maintaining a 4.1 GPA.  Don’t sleep on Hightower.

Jaiden Thomas2027 6-5 F Jaiden Thomas – Osborne
Whenever East Forsyth made a run, Jaiden Thomas was the stopper. JT hung 27 points and 6 rebounds in a 57-53 win over the Broncos, holding off a furious comeback. The combo-forward is an inside-out mismatch. Thomas is a good athlete with a nose for the ball off the backboard. He’s capable of outworking the opposition for putbacks. Jaiden finds creases in the zone playing from the dunker spot. He does well stepping in for dump-offs and finishes strong through contact. Where he was most impressive against East Forsyth was along the perimeter. Jaiden drilled three three-pointers and went 5-5 from the foul line. While his offense made waves, I also like how he defended. He’s got positional versatility to guard away from the basket and in the paint where he does well to go up vertically to block shots. I think JT could be a sneaky good addition at the right level.

D'Qori Abanikanda2027 6-1 PG D’Qori Abanikanda – Osborne
D’Qori has great handles. He has all the moves to break down defenders. He changes speeds well with hesitation moves and fluidly snaps off creative combos with crossovers into behind the back dribbles in order to escape pressure or penetrate. Abanikanda sets the table for others but is also a potent scorer when need be. Against East Forsyth he hit a three, a pull-up jumper and turned a steal into a layup as he finished with 7 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals. Abanikanda feels like one of the more underrated playmakers in Georgia, but if you watch the film and check his junior season production with 14.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.2 steals per game, it’s easy to see Qo has the talent to really blossom even further in college.

Kaiden Long2027 6-8 F Kaiden Long – East Forsyth
Long and strong, Kaiden Long is becoming more and more consistent and with that, starting to pop up on more and more college radars. In a narrow 57-53 loss to Osborne, Kaiden finished with 8 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks. I like how Kaiden maneuvers 15-feet and in. He’s an active body with good mobility for 6-foot-8, 225-pounds. Long is efficient in screen-and-roll settings, able to work his way into position on the block, catching the ball high and finishing high without bringing it down. Kaiden also has quality awareness of how to attack the baseline, comfortable scoring on the other side of the rim with reverses. Expect D-II, D-III and NAIA programs to be in the mix for Kaiden moving forward.

Dalton Price2027 6-2 PG Dalton Price – Lassiter
Lassiter overwhelmed Morgan County 56-32 using stingy defense, high IQ unselfishness and shot making to bury the Bulldogs. Lefty Dalton Price was at the forefront, jolting the Trojans out to a 33-22 halftime lead by scoring 13 points in the opening frame. Price would finish with 15 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal. I loved the intent behind Price’s play. He was locked in defensively, sitting in stance, jumping to the ball and getting in gaps to limit penetration. Dalton’s athleticism allows him to guard laterally and helps when it comes to crashing the glass. The southpaw can catch opponents off guard with his bounce, his highlight against Morgan County a two-handed slam off a steal. I like his body control and how he is able to play through contact. With his functional strength, Dalton zips crosscourt passes on the money to open shooters. Mixing in more right-handed drives while expanding his shooting range out to the three-point line with consistency will elevate the wide receiver’s stock. D-III programs are tracking his progress.

2027 6-5 W Preston Liston – Lassiter
With a family full of next level hoopers with brother Cal still at VMI, Preston looks the part with his mature frame and game. The First Team All-Region 6-5A wing can play 2-4 with his versatile skill. He has the strength to defend larger opponents inside and will use that same physicality to exploit mismatches on offense as he posts up smaller guards and stretches the floor with his three-point shot. Against Morgan County, Preston sank three threes and scored two hoops in transition to finish with 13 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block. Part of a tough-nosed on-a-string defense, Liston does well when guarding ball screens, getting out with hard hedges to shut down any downhill momentum. Coastal Georgia among others where in to view Preston.

2027 6-5 PF Jemerius King – South Paulding
Things are starting to fall into place for Jemerius King. When I first watched him last season King was a bit raw on offense but the want-to and physical tools were there. Now a senior, King is carving out a niche as a consistent contributor in the paint. Jemerius opened up the weekend with a tip-in at the buzzer to lift South Paulding past Mt. Paran 54-52. He followed up with 12 points and 11 rebounds in a 52-45 loss to Redan. King is a springy athlete. He attacks offensive rebounds with vigor. He scored on three putbacks against the Raiders while utilizing both hands to finish. The late blooming King continues to improve as his motor separates him from others.

2027 6-7 W Braydon Langston – East Hall
Instead of bolting for a prep school, Braydon Langston stayed where his roots are in Hall County and has seen the fruits of his labor produce a Tennessee offer. Langston’s length and athleticism anchor East Hall. He covers a ton of ground in the press and is a trump card when it comes to finding easy baskets. Langston does a great job nestling himself in the middle of the lane, catching and turning to shoot short fadeaway jumpers which are difficult to contest.  When he wants to, Braydon is able to long-arm rebounds in traffic, snatching caroms above crowds. He earns second and third chance looks and is a highlight waiting to happen with his above the rim prowess.

Brandon Pemberton2027 6-6 G Brandon Pemberton – Parkview
Brandon is red-hot. He nabbed offers from Georgia State and Kennesaw State earlier in the month and added Tulane and Chattanooga to his tally at the conclusion of camp. Pemberton’s length on the perimeter, do-everything approach and smooth jump shot make him drip with upside. He tried to rally the Panthers back against Woodstock, hitting tough contested pull-up threes with great fluidity over contests. A Sandy’s Spiel Spring Showcase alum from back in March of 2025 before he was a household name, Brandon Pemberton is the real deal.

Tyler Griffin2027 6-2 PG Tyler Griffin – Starr’s Mill
Even when it doesn’t look like he’s fully dominating a game, when you check the final box score you see that is exactly what Tyler Griffin just did. In a 57-43 win over Columbia, Griffin steadily took over pouring in 22 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Tyler has a great feel for finding driving angles and subtly changing speeds in order to matriculate his way to the basket where he adeptly is able to absorb contact and still finish. Griffin only hit one three against the Eagles but managed to score on three drives while shooting a perfect 5-5 from the foul line. With so much focus on his scoring, Tyler is a heady passer who found success at camp working the baseline to drill drift passes into shooters’ pockets in the corners. Defensively, Tyler excelled at flashing into passing lanes for steals scoring twice off pilfers. The recruitment for the reigning Region 3-4A Player of the Year will be interesting to follow as schools from multiple levels should be getting involved soon.

Jace Smith2027 6-4 F Jace Smith – Columbia
I really liked how Jace played in a loss to Starr’s Mill. The hardworking lefty tallied 17 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block. Known for his effort inside the arc, Smith actually shined with his three-point shot, nailing three long balls to try to keep Columbia within striking distance. As Jace stretched the floor, he also was able to get downhill on drives from the wing and high post. He left points on the board as he shot just 1-5 from the charity stripe, but all in all Smith was productive with his expanded offensive arsenal.

2027 6-7 W Kolton Kaylor – Fannin County
D-I schools of all levels made it a point to view Kolton Kaylor at camp. The seldom seen star did the best he could but the Rebels were overmatched against Carver-Columbus, blown out 79-29 as the Tigers’ speed, length and overall athleticism harassed Fannin County in the full court. Kaylor contributed 14 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 2 blocks. He scored on two putbacks, two cuts, a hook shot, a steal and a coast-to-coast take with his right hand. The southpaw makes good reads, able to whistle in sharp passes from long distances. In games where Fannin County can’t match up physically, I would like to see Kaylor try to force the issue more as he has the height advantage and often times even the leaping advantage as well to get shots off over contests. There is no denying Kolton’s skill level, but his lack of exposure against high-level talent and athleticism is something interesting to keep in mind as he still doesn’t play travel ball. Chattanooga, Arkansas State, Tulane, Seton Hall and most recently Oral Roberts have all offered. He’s a lotto ticket who could make a coaching staff look extremely smart if he pans out at the D-I level.

Rowan Woodrich2027 6-8 PF Rowan Woodrich – Peach County
I loved what I saw out of Rowan Woodrich. The feel, poise and skill caught my eye along with his frame, a lean yet strong 6-foot-8, 200 pounds which looks capable of packing on much more muscle in college. He spins to seal his man on the block and shows where he wants the entry pass to be delivered. Right when Rowan catches the ball in the post you can tell he has been schooled well. Woodrich has great footwork, patiently working with backdowns, pivots and step throughs across the lane. Rowan is comfortable facing up, immediately ripping through in triple threat and jabbing to create space before deciphering which move to turn to. He showed throughout camp the ability to make plays on the perimeter whether walking his man down to the block to finish with drop steps or shooting the three – Rowan’s jump shot is clean and fluid with upside to become a real weapon (18-60; 30% 3PT). Defensively, Woodrich pursues rebounds with both hands and is a reliable rim protector. The high academic prospect posted 9 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks in a 72-64 win over Commerce. I am high on Rowan. I think he’s a no-brainer at the D-II level and a potential fit at the right D-I school if he continues to build on his game. The Class 3A Most Improved Player upped his numbers from 4.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 0.5 steals and 1.7 blocks to 15.5 points, 10.1 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 2.6 blocks this past season. With an influx of transfers now at Peach County, even if his statistical production dips a bit, I think Woodrich is quality big man who should start garnering more and more attention.

Essien Lockleer2027 6-1 G Essien Lockleer – Commerce
Consistency is a hallmark of Essien Lockleer’s game. He’s a habitual producer, a stat sheet stuffer who always gives his team a chance to win. I feel like Essien is one of the more under the radar guards in the state. Listed at 6-foot-1, he feels and plays bigger. Against Peach County he had his three-point shot working, drilling three in the opening frame. He mixed in pull-up jumpers, putbacks and euro steps to get free against Peach County’s towering roster. Lockleer finished with 21 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal. His energy is infectious. Football may be his future in college, but I think if he wants to, Essien could be a great pick up in basketball who could flourish in the right system.

Graham Titus2027 6-6 G Graham Titus – Kennesaw Mountain
Even while tucked away on a back court, Graham Titus caught college coaches’ attention. The long guard was a mid-range assassin in a last-second loss to Model, efficiently getting to his shot as he sank three jumpers and stepped out to drill four three-pointers en route to 28 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist. Titus did the heavy lifting, scoring over half of the Mustangs’ 44 points. With his length and cool feel, Graham managed to score from all levels, finding some hoops from the in-between range, tossing in floaters with both hands. Defensively, Titus slid his feet laterally to stay in front of smaller guards and did well covering ground to close out on shooters, elevating to challenge shots. D-II and D-I programs caught glimpses of Titus against Model. With more showings like Sunday, expect offers to be right around the corner.

Bryson Denson2027 6-1 G Bryson Denson – Model
Non-D-I programs will need to investigate Bryson Denson. The All-State guard is physically mature. He loves attacking downhill, using his body to get where he wants. He embraces contact, finishing through it. Denson is a solid outside shooter and is adept at playing out of ball screens.  In Model’s 47-44 win against Kennesaw Mountain, Bryson filed in 20 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. His toughness on defense and his strength rebounding from his guard position are positive attributes.

2027 6-5 SG Tiago Lee – Gainesville
The high-octane scorer put up 13 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block in a 48-41 win over ELCA. Lee has really good size outside. He’s a smooth shot maker. Tiago scores off the catch from distance but is also comfortable making plays downhill getting to his pull-up. He sank three threes against ELCA while adding a mid-range jumper off the catch and a pull-up from 15-feet. Tiago Lee should become a popular name with college coaches moving forward if he is able to enjoy the same usage rate at Gainesville as he did last year during his breakout season at Mays.

2027 5-11 PG Ethan Allen – ELCA
Ethan snagged an offer from Columbus State on Monday after a strong showing over the weekend. With the Chargers missing AJ Williams, Allen stepped up in a lead dog role against Gainesville, finishing with 14 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Outside of his stats, Ethan impressed me with his leadership. He was a vocal communicator. Allen’s sparkplug play shined on both ends. A sharp athletic playmaker with speed, Ethan attacked the rim with both hands. His pesky on-ball defense helped force turnovers, letting loose the speed merchant in the open floor. Ethan snapped off fluid euro steps to finish at the basket. I like his drive-and-dish upside with how he is able to penetrate.
