2028 5-7 PG Ashia Mountain – Brunswick
After a dominant run at Frederica Academy in the GIAA racking up a 21-1 mark last season, Ashia has a new mountain to climb in the GHSA. Mountain is an impressive athlete. She’s physically gifted, strong with great speed in the backcourt showcasing an explosive first step. She thrives at breaking down defenders off the dribble and can score through contact. Mountain has the ball skills to create both left and right. Ashia sees the floor as a drive-and-dish facilitator. Defensively, her aggressive on-ball defense converts live-ball turnovers into transition hoops.

2029 5-6 G Mickiyah Fields – South Effingham
Fields has the potential to break out. In from Jenkins where she played her freshman year, Mickiyah has all the skill to impact games with her shifty playmaking. Fields is strong with the ball, a good athlete with bursts of speed downhill. Mickiyah fits in with the flow of the game and doesn’t try to over do anything. She has a pretty jump shot to go along with her penetration game. Defensively, her lateral quickness, physicality and quick hands help shut down perimeter offense.
2028 5-8 W Jaila Scott – Morrow
Jaila led Stockbridge to a 20-win season as a sophomore, pouring in 17.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 2.7 steals and 1.3 blocks per game. Scott has a growing offensive arsenal with momentum heading into her upperclassman seasons. The wiry guard attacks both right and left, comfortable getting to her off-hand to finish through contact. Scott is quick with the ball utilizing spin moves and euro steps. While she thrives as a slasher, she’s also a steady jump shooter as well, hitting 31 threes on the year. Her lengthy frame and energy allow her to defend multiple positions.
2029 5-10 F Jermani Mincey – Gainesville
Mincey played a significant role as a freshman in the frontcourt for Buford as a hybrid forward. Her quick instincts led to rotational steals and rebounds. Jermani’s offensive game on the perimeter is becoming a strength, helping create mismatches with her jump shot and downhill attack.
