2024 6-3 W Trey Harvey – Dawson County
Dawson County buried White County immediately, drilling six first quarter threes to jump out to a 27-13 lead before cruising to a 60-37 victory. It was Trey Harvey who set the tone. The tallest player on a roster starved for size, Harvey has a lot on his plate. He anchors the paint defensively and is relied upon to mix it up inside. With such onus, Trey rises to the occasion supplying the Tigers with a little bit of everything. He had an explosive first quarter netting a pair of threes en route to 15 points. Trey has a strong frame equipped with capable athleticism. Harvey does great work on the glass but is most known for his smooth offensive game on the perimeter. Trey gets his shot off with ease and is a three-level scorer. He showcased crafty footwork on the low block and was able to sink pull-up jumpers from the mid-range. His toughness shines defensively, eliminating second chance points using sneaky bounce to rebound and swat away shots. Harvey pumped in 25 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and 5 blocks, a complete masterclass performance from the baseball pitching prospect.

2025 6-0 G David Boman – White County
Boman was a positive from White County’s rough Friday night. David scored 11 of his game-high 14 points in the first quarter and finished with four made threes. He found open spots in the corners burning Dawson County when they were slow to close out. David also hit a one-dribble pull-up from the mid-range.

2024 6-0 PG D’Marion Floyd – Darlington
When big shots were needed, D’Marion Floyd delivered. The All-State point guard paced Darlington with 18 points, 1 rebound, 5 assists and 1 steal in a 64-60 overtime win against Christian Heritage. Trailing 13-3 to start, the Tigers clawed back and held a 32-28 halftime lead after Floyd scored six points in the second quarter. The lead grew to 44-34 with 1:05 left in the third but was trimmed to 44-39 after 24 minutes and eventually turned into a 54-49 deficit with 2:23 left in regulation. Floyd, who had five of Darlington’s 12 fourth quarter points, forced overtime on a drive down the middle of the lane, beating the shot clock to tie the score at 56 with 31 seconds left. In overtime, once again it was D’Marion beating the shot clock, delivering a dagger at the 27-second mark with a pull-up three to extend and ultimately settle the score at 64-60. Floyd’s quickness and timely shot making was the difference for Darlington. D’Marion provided offense at all three levels throughout the day, scoring on floaters and tough pull-up jumpers. Defensively, Floyd was selfless by standing in and taking a charge. When D’Marion plays like he did on Saturday, moving the ball around and understanding when it’s time to hunt his shot, the Tigers are tough to beat.

2024 6-6 W Grant Hutton – Darlington
While D’Marion Floyd may have scored the decisive baskets, Darlington wouldn’t have been in a position to win without Grant Hutton. Trailing 54-49 with 2:23 left in regulation, it was Hutton who went on a personal 5-0 run to draw the game to within two points with 1:08 on the clock. Grant hit a mid-range jumper and a three-pointer to make it 56-54. Hutton scored nine total points in the fourth quarter and overtime including seven of Darlington’s nine points spanning the end of regulation and the start of overtime. The lefty found success with his jumper, using his elite leaping ability to rise over defenders for clean looks. Christian Heritage did a good job using their strength advantage to push Hutton off the block, but Grant combatted that by scoring from 15-feet. Hutton finished with 16 points, 3 rebounds and 1 block. Hutton has flashed his tremendous upside throughout the season in different spots. On Saturday, he delivered when it mattered most, something that can’t go unnoticed. Cedarville and Holmes Community College are the latest to offer the dynamic tweener.

2024 6-4 F Cash Hare – Christian Heritage
One of the best point-forwards in Georgia, Cash Hare can often be overlooked due to the shadow cast by the state’s top scorer Jax Abernathy. Make no mistake however, Hare is a key cog in the machine. His physicality inside is invaluable, a tough-nosed rebounder that carves out space. Hare is a forward, but possesses guard skills. He showcased the ability to go coast-to-coast and deliver a drop off dime in transition for a layup. Cash sees the floor incredibly well, putting great zip on his passes to hit backdoor cutters. On Saturday, Hare drilled a three, scored an And-1 baseline drive, an And-1 putback and scored on both a post hook and a steal. Cash recorded 12 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal. Hare is a great option for D-III and NAIA schools looking to add toughness, IQ and a versatile skillset.
