Scout Henry2029 5-6 PG Scout Henry – Union County
Henry flirted with a triple-double, racking up 10 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals against Denmark. Scout nailed a pair of threes, scored on a putback and went 2-2 from the foul line. Henry’s elite energy, toughness and ability to involve herself in every play makes her one of the best young two-way guards in Georgia.

McKenna Hood2027 5-10 C McKenna Hood – Union County
Everything was working for Union County in a 71-11 win over a shorthanded Denmark, Hood exploding for 26 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals sinking two threes in the process. McKenna did well sealing inside for post finishes with both hands. She was able to clean up misses, sticking with it for multiple chances. Hood’s physicality and sneaky skill should draw some small school college attention.

Braylee Davenport2029 5-3 G Braylee Davenport – Fannin County
The sophomore erupted for 14 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal in a 44-25 win over Lanier. Davenport was on fire to open, draining three first half three-pointers, finishing with four triples on the day. Braylee sunk shots off the catch and mixed in a floater when she attacked off the dribble. When Davenport didn’t have a clean look at the hoop, she quickly swung the ball finding open teammates for baskets.

Michelle Ezumah2027 5-11 F Michelle Ezumah – Lanier
Ezumah accounted for 20 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 blocks in a 44-25 loss to Fannin County. She scored thrice with her left hand and had three transition hoops pushing the ball up the floor herself. Michelle got on the glass for three putbacks, balancing her output as she shined in front of Truett McConnell.

Madison Shirley2031 5-4 G Madison Shirley – East Forsyth
For the second time this season, the eighth grader splashed three threes in a single game. The Baby Broncos pounded Dawson County 46-19 led by Shirley’s game-high 11 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals. Madison connected on a pair of threes from the top of the key and added in a corner bomb to go along with a cut to the rim for her lone two-point field goal. Shirley’s shooting touch could help her see the floor early on in her high school career.

Anna Droegemueller2031 5-2 PG Anna Droegemueller – East Forsyth
The spitfire guard was the aggressor in East Forsyth’s rout of Dawson County, collecting 10 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Part of a Bronco team filled with primarily eighth graders this Saturday, Anna was the catalyst with her fearless play. Anna is a relentless defender who sticks to ball handlers like glue as she aggressively looks to force turnovers with active hands. Droegemueller swished a pair of threes and showcased a slick handle as she organized the Bronco offense. Anna’s motor and feel for the game project her to be a four-year starter once she gets to high school.

Avynn Kniceley2027 5-7 PG Avynn Kniceley – South Forsyth
Avynn’s full court pressure and veteran savvy tormented the young Panthers in a 59-17 win over Jackson County. Kniceley racked up 9 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists and 6 steals. She was quick to locate the ball whenever it was up for grabs. Her knack for going toward the ball as a magnet helps her break up plays and steal possessions. Kniceley netted a three to add toward South Forsyth’s seven-three barrage.

Bryleigh Pittmon2030 5-10 F Bryleigh Pittmon – Jackson County
Pittmon had a heavy load on Saturday, guarding five-star wing Carib Morris while being asked to carry the Panthers on offense. Bryleigh rose to the occasion with her best game of the season, tallying 12 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals, accounting for nearly all of Jackson County’s 17 points. Pittmon was aggressive attacking the rim from the perimeter, turning corners and using multiple spins to get back to her right hand to finish. Bryleigh had some nice kick outs to teammates on the perimeter and she crashed the glass to earn second chance opportunities. As Pittmon becomes more comfortable using her left hand with her counter moves, the double-double threat will be able to reach her high upside.
