2030 6-0 F Abrielle Allen – HER Elite EYBL – Whitefield Academy
As the 2030 class starts to introduce itself heading into the high school season, Abrielle Allen may be near the top of her grade. At 6-foot tall, Allen is a versatile forward with skills inside and out. Allen has impressive foot speed for her size along with savvy instincts, quick to disrupt on defense. She plucks rebounds in traffic and looks to immediately push the ball coast-to-coast. Abrielle has upside to cement herself as a legit three-level scorer. Her range extends to the three-point line and she is comfortable attacking from the wing where she knocks down mid-range jumpers and is skilled enough to get to rim. Allen has nice touch on her floater and can play rugged when needed, a physical offensive rebounder who converts putbacks and draws fouls. In a 51-36 win over Winners United, Allen went 8-10 from the foul line en route to 21 points, 16 rebounds, 9 steals and 1 block.

2030 5-10 W Melody Ashford – Winners United EYBL – Northview
Even when she’s not at her very best, an average Melody Ashford game is typically a career day for most others. The rising freshman already has a reputation for being a stat sheet stuffer. She made a lasting first impression last May at the Kyle Sandy Classic, and has continued to raise her stock since. Melo scores from all over the floor and has the positional versatility to play wherever needed. Ashford has good size on the perimeter equipped with feel and physical tools which will help her log heavy minutes as a freshman at Northview. In a loss to HER Elite, Melody carried the load with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocks, sinking a pair of threes, converting a left-handed coast-to-coast layup and going 6-9 from the foul line. Ashford projects to be one of the most impactful freshmen in the entire state of Georgia. She looks well on her way to garnering D-I offers.
2030 5-6 G Colleen Lartey – Winners United EYBL – Archer
Colleen doesn’t have the size of her older sister Jordan who stands nearly 6-foot tall and just committed to play at Savannah State, but the lefty does have speed and a motor that will help her vie for playing time early on in her career. Lartey has the attributes of a pesky guard who can defend 94-feet. Colleen is always moving on defense, looking to make a play. Offensively, Lartey is a skilled finisher with both hands. Her catch-and-shoot three-point shot is a weapon and gives her value as an off-ball option who can both stretch the floor and slash to the basket. Lartey contributed 9 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals and 1 block against HER Elite.
2030 5-6 SG Vicka Junco – Wood Elite – North Paulding
The Mexican native is a three-point specialist who thrives off catch-and-shoot opportunities. Vicka was money from the corners in a narrow 49-44 loss to 15U HER Elite, splashing five threes en route to a game-high 19 points and 3 steals. Although much of her game is predicated on her jump shooting on the perimeter, Junco has the physical strength to be able to defend and score around the rim. Adding some more wiggle to her game will make her a more diverse offensive option. Right now, her shooting ability makes her a plug-and-play candidate ready to stretch the floor. Part of a loaded backcourt at North Paulding, consistent minutes at the varsity level may be hard to come by at first but regardless, Junco has a bright future ahead of her with plenty of big shots coming her way.
2030 6-3 C Maleigha Berg – Porter Sports – Ware County
D-I schools are already getting involved with Maleigha Berg, Mercer offering last August. Standing around 6-foot-3, Berg doesn’t look like an incoming freshman. Not due to only her height, but Maleigha has a powerful college-ready frame equipped with broad shoulders and a strong base. Berg uses her body well, powering through the chests of defenders with drop steps and backdowns. Maleigha finishes through contact, a foul magnet. What is really impressive is even with her size, Berg is light on her feet, playing on her toes with nimble footwork. Continuing to develop go-to back-to-the-basket moves along with counters will be her next area of growth. I expect she will be able to dominate most matchups throughout her high school career with drop steps and putbacks. In a 50-48 win against HER Elite, Berg posted 13 points, 9 rebounds and 1 block. Next in a long line of intimidating post presences, Maleigha should be a double-double workhorse starting Day 1.
