Class AAAAAA
No. 1 Archer 61, Spartanburg (SC) 52: Archer received school-records in points and blocked shots from Autumn Newby as the Lady Tigers rallied from down nine points at the half to earn a win at the Crescom Bank Holiday Invitational. Newby finished with 32 points, 13 rebounds and seven blocked shots. Linsey Marchese posted 19 points and 15 rebounds in the comeback.
Northview 52, Habersham Central 41: Junior Shannon Titus scored 18 points and freshman Ashlee Austin tossed in 16 to power the Lady Titans to a region victory.
Class AAAA
No. 2 Marist 48, Grady 23: Dominique Oden kept the Lady War Eagles perfect with 16 points, five rebounds and four steals. Annabelle Farabaugh finished with 11 points and three assists in the win.
Pickens 51, Cartersville 44 OT: Mackenzie Hampton scored 15 points and Autumn Young chipped in 10 to lift the Dragonettes over Cartersville.
North Oconee 51, Washington-Wilkes 30: The Lady Titans received 16 points from Camryn Williams and 11 from Emma Weynand in the win.
St. Pius 41, Redan 38: Kathryn McKenzie scored 11 points and Macey Carson added 9 off the bench to lead St. Pius X over Redan in a Region 6-AAAA contest. The Golden Lions (7-2, 6-2) led 30-21 after three quarters before the Raiders opened the fourth quarter on a 16-5 run to take a 37-36 lead with 1:45 to play. Hannah Jones gave the Golden Lions the lead for good with two free throws and found Leah Middleton streaking down the sideline with 14 seconds left for the final margin. Taylor Tucker led the Raiders (7-2, 6-2) with 12 with Brianna McIver chipping in 9 in the loss.
Class AAA
No. 3 Dawson County 69, Mt. de Sales 21: Karlie Bearden scored 14 and Haley Burgess added 13 points to cruise the Lady Tigers past Mt. de Sales in the first round of the St. Anne-Pacelli Christmas Tournament. Peyton Porter and Kaylee Sticker both chipped in eight points as well.
Class AA
Darlington 59, Calhoun 53: Anna Claire Atha poured in 30 points to lead the Lady Tigers over Calhoun at the Holiday Festival at Berry College. Kelsey Garrett added 16 points in the win. Calhoun was led by Jana Johns’ 20 points, 11 rebounds and four steals. Ashlyn Barnes pitched in 18 points, 10 rebounds and four steals for the Yellow Jackets.
Class A
No. 1 St. Francis 54, Millbrook (NC) 40: St. Francis led the entire game in the opening round of the Crescom Bank Holiday Invitational. Jala Jordan poured in 23 points and 14 rebounds to pace the Lady Knights. Maya Dodson scored 11 points and posted nine rebounds and five blocks.
First Presbyterian Day 69, Schley County 28: The Lady Vikings moved to 5-3 on the season. Emma Lako scored a team-high 17 points and Kate Patterson added 13.

No. 6 Collins Hill 89, Clarkston 23: The Eagles overpowered the Angoras in blowout fashion. TeShaun Hightower paced all scorers with 16 points. JD Ozoh added 13 while AJ Cheeseman and Justin Lee finished with 12 and 11 points respectively. Kenny Stanciel also chipped in 10.
No. 7 Lambert 68, Centennial 26: 15, yes, 15 players scored for the Longhorns. Tre Bell led Lambert with 12 points while Tanner Hall added 11.
No. 9 Dacula 74, Central Gwinnett 64: Wofford signee Kevon Tucker continued his offensive onslaught with 33 points and 11 rebounds. Derek St. Hilaire added 14 points and six rebounds while Gary Bishop netted 10.
Berkmar 70, 3A No. 2 Jenkins 62: At the Valhalla Classic, Zach Cooks scored 17 points and Al Durham added 14 to knock off AAA’s No. 2 ranked team.
Peachtree Ridge 67, 3A No. 9 East Hall 58: The Vikings fell at the Valhalla Classic night cap. Triston Cooper and Luke Cooper both scored 11 points in the loss. Tylor Brown added 17.
Roswell 56, Walton 53: Hours before the Hornets kicked off their state championship game with Colquitt County, the basketball team came away with a Region 5 victory. Junior James Anderson poured in a game-high 18 points to lead the way.
Harrison 71, Houston County 66 OT: The Hoyas won the battle of Sandy’s Spiel Super Sleepers edging Houston County in overtime. Austin York scored a team-high 20 points while Ryan Boler added 16 inside. Justin Matthews and Juwan Owens scored 11 and 10 points respectively.
Brookwood 76, White County 64: Bubba Parham scored 15 points and handed out seven assists in the Bronco win. Micah Kinsey filled the stat sheet with 14 points, six steals, five rebounds and five assists. Amari Kelly posted 10 points and seven rebounds inside.
Grayson 69, Parkview 59: Austin Dukes powered the Ram attack with 17 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Hafeez Anifowoshe posted a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Freshman Kenyon Jackson also had a big night with 13 points, 14 rebounds and six blocks.
Northview 56, South Forsyth 48: Garrett Stewart scored 17 points to power the Titans after scoring 29 on Friday night.
Class AAAAA
No. 2 Gainesville 86, Salem 60: D’Marcus Simonds paced the Red Elephants with 18 points. Michael White scored 15 and Tae Turner chipped in 12 points. Bailey Minor added 10 points and both Messiah Dorsey and KJ Buffen added nine points apiece.
No. 4 Allatoona 58, New Manchester 47: Guard play was the deciding factor in the Bucs victory. Trey Doomes scored 23 points and collected seven steals, seven rebounds and two blocks. Ephraim Tshimanga went for 12 points, eight steals and eight rebounds.
No. 5 Cedar Shoals 73, Clarke Central 44: Jerrick Mitchell scored 17 points, grabbed seven rebounds and added six assists in the Jaguar win. Phlan Fleming finished with 13 points, five rebounds and five assists. Stavion Stevenson chipped in 11 points.
No. 7 Riverwood 59, Creekview 49: Riverwood rolled to 12-0 at the Region 7 Krossover Showcase. Kohl Roberts scored 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds while adding two blocks and three steals defensively. Charnchai Chantha led the Raiders with 18 points, four assists and three steals. Elijah Jenkins added 13 points.
No. 9 LaGrange 80, 3A No. 8 Callaway 68: Rico Smith went for 31 points and LaPerion Perry added 20 to hold off the Cavaliers. Kenan Gray posted 10 points in the win.
Apalachee 77, North Oconee 74: Kamar Baldwin was nearly unstoppable with 35 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds and four steals to power the Wildcats. Sophomore Derek Miller played big after a 13-point, 13-rebound night and posted 12 and 12 tonight. Jabari Hill added 14 points.
Discovery 71, Loganville 40: The Titans picked up a convincing win in Region 8. JeVonte Gordon led the way with 13 points. Jaden Stanley chipped in eight points. Jordan Hatcher and Brian Liles both added seven points.
South Paulding 79, Paulding County 32: The Spartans advanced to 6-0 after crushing county rival Paulding. Kane Williams flirted with a triple-double, scoring 19 points, snatching 11 rebounds and recording eight assists. Ja’Cori Wilson went for 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Kell 65, Marietta 46: Brian Thomas controlled the paint with 14 points, 14 rebounds and five block. Jonah Patton added 12 points and Demetris Page notched 10.
Class AAAA
No. 1 Lithonia 55, No. 6 St. Pius 44: The Bulldogs rebounded in an important Region 6 meeting after falling to Grady the night before, 62-52. Jacara Cross and Tyheem Freeman both scored 18 points to lead the charge. Cross posted a double-double with 11 rebounds. Rodney Chatman finished with nine points, nine assists and six rebounds.
Seneca (SC) 93, No. 3 Henry County 75: The Warhawks fell at the Valhalla Classic after Braden Galloway scored 33 and Xzavier Barmore 26 for the Bobcats. Henry County was paced by Javon Greene’s 24 and Damion Rosser’s 23.
North Hall 63, Woodward Academy 56: North Hall picked up a road win behind Carson Heinen and Evan Easton. Heinen, who leads the Trojans in scoring this year, poured in 26 points to lead the way. Easton chipped in 15.
Perry 82, Northside-Warner Robins 75: Jake Smith led Perry with 15 points, five rebounds, seven assists and three steals. Damion Bagley went for 12 points, 11 rebounds and five assists while Chris Clerkley scored seven points and pulled down eight rebounds. He also added four blocks. Chandler Rawls chipped in 14 points and Evan Lassiter finished with 10.
Class AAA
No. 7 Calhoun 64, Adairsville 30: The Yellow Jackets scored a region victory behind a balanced scoring attack. Chapin Rierson and Ray Reeves led the way with 12 points apiece. Rierson added four rebounds while Reeves chipped in six. Dyaln Greeson scored 11 points. Kaelan Riley narrowly missed out on a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds.
No. 10 Southwest-Macon 66, Northeast-Macon 51: The Patriots used a 20-to-9 fourth quarter to advance to 6-1 and drop Northeast to 0-7. Justin Slocum finished with 21 points and nine rebounds while Nick Hargrove added 20 points. Slocum also added four assists and six steals while Hargrove notched eight assists and four steals.
Westminster 59, Decatur 44: The Wildcats scored a Region 4-AAA sweep by defeating the Bulldogs. Will Benson led all scorers with 18 points.
Lumpkin County 74, Oglethorpe County 42: Coach Jeff Steele keeps on winning no matter where the location. Lumpkin County is off to an 8-1 start in Steele’s first year with the program after leading Johnson-Gainesville to a school-record 29-1 mark last season. The Indians finished just 9-20 in 2014-15, but they are well on their way to surpassing that mark. Jack Howard poured in 24 points, Brandon Zarate added 16 and Zach Pulley pitched in 14 to pace the suddenly high scoring offense. Jacob Zarate scored 12 points and Justin Haskew pulled in 10 rebounds in the team effort.
Class AA
No. 1 Seminole County 77, Berrien 58: Jordan Harris poured in 37 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and one block to add to his legendary career. Anfernee King added 12 points, seven boards, five assists and four steals.
Class A
No. 4 Whitefield Academy 60, Lanett (AL) 55: Brendon Myles exploded for 26 points and six rebounds to lead the Wolfpack. Isaiah Hart went for 19 points and six assists, while blocking two shots and collecting two steals on defense. Jimmy McCarthy scored four points and seven rebounds in the win.
No. 6 Lakeview Academy 59, Prince Avenue 42: Carter Reeves posted another double-double to lead the Lions. He finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Tre Gober scored 12 points and Daniel Fadool handed out eight helpers.
No. 7 St. Anne-Pacelli 70, Excel Christian 61 OT: A night after losing in overtime, the Vikings found a way to win in the extra period. Tre Sudberry scored 28 of his game-high 32 points in the second half, dished out seven assists and grabbed 10 rebounds to power the Pacelli. Armon Prophet tacked on eight points and 11 assists in the win. Triston Wells notched 12 points and seven rebounds. Chris Hale scored a team-high 22 points for Excel. “Our overall energy kept us in the game tonight. Our execution has to improve. Against a well-coached, tough team like St Anne Pacelli (Coach Alan Griffin), execution is what often makes the difference in games like tonight. We’re going to get better and learn from tonight. Games like tonight prepare us for a tough region and hopefully for a run in the State tournament.” Said Matt Sanders of Excel after the game.
No. 8 Landmark Christian 55, Mt. Pisgah 43: Zack Allen posted another double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Wix Patton hauled down 15 rebounds.
Tallulah Falls 58, Providence Christian 47: The Indians advanced to 5-3 and dropped the Storm to 1-7. Jeremy Hardnett led Providence with 17 and Bobby Rodgers added 13 in the loss.
Lincoln County 78, Josey 72: Ahmad Rand was unstoppable for the Red Devils. The 6-foot-7 center scored 23 points, grabbed 18 rebounds and swatted away 14 shots to post a triple-double. Zach Crite added a double-double of his own with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Class AAAAAA
No. 4 South Forsyth 73, Northview 41: Maryland signee Sarah Myers finished with 22 points to power the War Eagles to a blowout win. Emily Dreslinski added 12 points while Zoe Maisel notched 10.
Lambert 56, Centennial 52: Leah Cote posted 16 points and eight rebounds to lift the Lady Longhorns over the Lady Knights. Molly Williams and Kylee Beecher both played well, scoring 12 and nine points respectively.
North Forsyth 65, Habersham Central 40: Morgan Grindle went for 21 points and six assists to lead the Lady Raider offense. Amber Jones scored 14 points in the win while Madison Moye chipped in six.
Class AAAAA
No. 2 Sequoyah 60, Cherokee 52 2OT: Kelley Hartman scored 18 points and sister Lauren added 12 to lift the Lady Chiefs over rival Cherokee in double-overtime. Lauren also added 13 rebounds while Kelley pulled down 13 of her own and added seven blocks. Alyssa Cagle and Emily Seres both pitched in eight points apiece. Cagle notched four assists and four steals. Cherokee was led by Lacie McCoy’s 18 points.

No. 3 Marist 40, No. 6 Redan 33: Dominique Oden paced the Lady War Eagles over Redan in a top ten showdown in Region 6. Oden scored 15 points and added three assists and six rebounds. Ansley Gross chipped in five points, eight assists and five rebounds in the win.
Whitewater 53, East Coweta 42: Two freshmen powered the Lady Wildcats. Jada Claude scored 12 points and collected 11 rebounds while Janiya Jones went for 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Senior Jordan Barnett scored a team-high 17 points to pace the Cats.

Westminster 53, Decatur 42: Hannah Morgan poured in a team-high 23 points with five three-pointers to lead the Lady Wildcats.

No. 1 Westlake 85, South Cobb 58: The Lions were led by 35 points via guard Danny Lewis to blow by South Cobb on the road for a Region 3 victory.
No. 4 Norcross 93, No. 6 Collins Hill 72: The Blue Devils’ size and guard play was too much for shorthanded Collins Hill to overcome. Rayshaun Hammonds scored 25 points to do the frontcourt damage while Kyle Sturdivant, Jordan Goldwire and Dalvin White chipped in 19, 17 and 16 points respectively. The Eagles, who were without their starting point guard Max Clark and backup Dez Howard due to injury, received a game-high 31 points from TeShaun Hightower. AJ Cheeseman scored 11 points and Kai Lambert netted nine.
No. 7 Lambert 64, Chattahoochee 57: Connor Mannion continued his rampant pace, going for 29 points and 22 rebounds. Tanner Hall and Ross Morkem both chipped in 11 points apiece to remain undefeated.
No. 9 Dacula 69, South Gwinnett 68 OT: Dacula came back from down 11 points with four minutes to play to force overtime and prove why they deserve a top ten ranking. The Falcons gutted out a win behind Derek St. Hilaire’s 25 points and Kevon Tucker’s 18 points, who fouled out. Juwan white scored 12 and freshman point guard Mekhail Bethea added 10 big points in the win.
Berkmar 72, Grayson 46: Berkmar picked up a statement win at home behind Darius Harrison and Jay Estime. Harrison finished with 20 points and eight rebounds while Estime poured in 22 points.
Brookwood 70, Archer 63: Brookwood continued to use a balanced attack to score another Region 8 victory. Micah Kinsey did it all, scoring 22 points, grabbing seven rebounds, dishing four assists and collecting four steals. Big man Amari Kelly posted a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Sean Agnant added 10 points and three assists.
McEachern 51, Marietta 40: McEachern outscored Marietta 18-to-4 in the fourth quarter to race past the upstart Blue Devils. Darius Jones led the way with 24 points while AJ Jones pitched in 16. Clay Croom had a big game on the glass, pulling down 12 rebounds.
Duluth 62, Peachtree Ridge 55: Adam Flagler finished with 16 points and five assists to pace the Wildcats in a Region 7 victory. Javis Diaz added 13 and Jalen Hodges netted 14 in the win. The Lions were led by Milz Tatum’s 15 points.
Pebblebrook 67, Langston Hughes 57: For the first time this season, Pebblebrook flexed its defensive muscle and showed that they can lock an opponent down after allowing 96 and 101 points in its past two games. Coming off a 40-point performance, Collin Sexton remained hot offensively with a game-high 28 points and nine rebounds. Jared Harper scored 17 points and dished out five assists. JJ Smith continued his solid all-around play with 14 points and 11 rebounds to go with two steals. Langston Hughes falls to 6-2. The Panthers were led by Derrick Cook’s 15 points and Khalil Cuffee’s 12.
Milton 70, Etowah 54: Alex O’Connell went for 25 points and eight rebounds while Harvard signee Chris Lewis finished with 14 points and 15 rebounds to win in the battle of Eagles.
Northview 66, West Forsyth 58: Garrett Stewart scored 21 points and Jeremiah Shields added 15 for the Titans to pick up a region victory. West Forsyth was led by Jay Magee’s 20 points and John Patterson’s 17-point, 12-rebound double-double.
Class AAAAA
No. 1 Miller Grove 82, MLK 35: Colin Young sank six three-pointers en route to 26 points to lead all scorers. The Wolverines shared the ball extremely well with Alterique Gilbert scoring 15 points and handing out 10 assists, and Aaron Augustin finishing with 13 points, 14 assists and eight steals. Big man Raylon Richardson scored nine points and hauled in eight rebounds. Owen Clark led MLK with 11 points.
No. 2 Gainesville 80, No. 5 Cedar Shoals 77 2OT: The Red Elephants pulled yet another game out of the fire to remain undefeated and atop the ever competitive Region 8-AAAAA. Cedar Shoals led 34-25 at the half as Gainesville did not start D’Marcus Simonds for assumed disciplinary reasons. The Red Elephants trailed the entire game but continued to chip away, even after the host Jaguars would continue to extend the lead to double digits. In the end, Simonds got the visiting Elephants over the hump and collected their second region victory after trailing at the half. He scored a game-high 40 points – 27 in the second half and 15 in the fourth – and was aided by Tae Turner’s 16. Stavion Stevenson paced the Jaguars with a big first half and finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Jerrick Mitchell chipped in 18 points, six assists and four steals and Greg Smith, Snipe Hall and Phlan Fleming all scored 12 apiece.
No. 3 McIntosh 74, Drew 56: Jordan Lyons scored a game-high 27 points as the Chiefs were able to cool off the high-scoring Drew offense. Chase Walter added 13 points and Braxton Shaw 12, while Dishon Lowery pulled down 15 rebounds and blocked five shots. Will Washington collected 10 assists on the night.
No. 4 Allatoona 56, Alexander 46: Ephraim Tshimanga powered the Bucs to a region victory with 22 points, five rebounds and five steals. Trey Doomes scored 12 points and collected five rebounds and five assists as well. Dylon Ramsey chipped in 10 points and four rebounds.
No. 6 Heritage 75, Winder-Barrow 24: Both Makyle Wilkerson and Byron Abrams netted 14 points to power the Patriots. Jordan Thomas added 11 while Isaiah Banks and Marquis Davis chipped in nine and eight points respectively.
No. 7 Riverwood 64, Cambridge 52: Kohl Roberts dominated the paint with 12 points and 19 rebounds to lift the Raiders to a 10-0 start. Elijah Jenkins continued to show off his improved stroke shooting 7-of-9 from deep and finishing with 27 points.
No. 9 LaGrange 55, Whitewater 51: Rico Smith went for 18 points and Bryan Fanning stepped up with 12 to help the Grangers move onto 5-0 to start the season.
No. 10 Southwest DeKalb 69, Druid Hills 54: TiQuan Lewis helped keep the Panthers undefeated and moved to 6-0 after scoring a team-high 14 points. Nathaniel Ambersley and Keith Gilmore notched 12 points apiece.
Apalachee 59, Loganville 46: Kamar Baldwin posted a double-double with 20 points, 10 rebounds and four assists to lead the Wildcats. Jabari Hill and Omer Ahmed picked up the slack with 11 points apiece.
Discovery 83, North Hall 59: Andrew Moore scored a team-high 20 points and Brian Liles added 15 to help the first-year program to yet another win. The Titans have been a pleasant surprise and now sit at 7-3. DJ Young and Jaden Stanley both added nine points while JeVonte Gordon chipped in seven.
South Paulding 59,Villa Rica 31: Ja’Cori Wilson went for 25 points and 10 rebounds in the Spartan victory. Anthony Brown also posted a double-double, scoring 12 points and collecting 10 rebounds.
Clarkston 40, Dunwoody 32: AJ McNeil scored 13 points to lead the Angoras. Maawiya Musa chipped in 12, using the deep ball, and Su Su Entongwe finished with 10 points to hold off Dunwoody.
Class AAAA
No. 1 Lithonia 87, Chamblee 52: Tyheem Freeman scored 22 points and Jacara Cross finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds to blow by Chamblee in the battle of the Bulldogs. Rodney Chatman added 13 points, nine assists and five rebounds in the rout.
No. 3 Henry County 76, Riverdale 67: The Warhawks held on at home behind big games once again from Javon Greene and Damion Rosser. Greene finished with 26 points and five rebounds while Rosser flirted with a triple-double, going for 22 points, eight rebounds and nine assists.
No. 5 Grady 61, Stone Mountain 60: Another game, another narrow victory for Grady. The win is already their fourth 1-point win as the Knights advance to 7-0. Avi Toomer scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds while Christian Bryant continued his strong play with 20 points and five assists.
No. 6 St. Pius 70, Cross Keys 18: The Golden Lions were able to get younger players some valuable minutes in the romp of Cross Keys. A pair of sophomores led St. Pius in scoring. Christian Mattei scored 16 points and Everett Lane, younger brother of the season’s leading scorer Kerney Lane, added 10 points.
Heritage-Catoosa 70, Pickens 47: Dylan Bice scored 19 points and Hunter Erickson added 17 to overwhelm the visiting Dragons.
Northwest Whitfield 78, Cartersville 67: Luke Shiflett and Paxton Pardee both scored 18 points to pace the Bruins out of Tunnel Hill.
Perry 68, Upson-Lee 63: Damion Bagley scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Chris Clerkley scored six, pulled in 11 rebounds and blocked two shots. Willie Walters added 10 points and Evan Lassiter 11 in the comeback.
Class AAA
No. 3 Morgan County 52, No. 4 East Jackson 45: Morgan County held on against East Jackson and for at least one more meeting, proved they are still the team to beat in Region 8. Travis Anderson led East Jackson’s trio of talented sophomore guards with 22 points in the loss.
No. 7 Calhoun 65, Ringgold 41: The Yellow Jackets passed their first test of the season with a blowout win. Fresh off the gridiron, Kaelan Riley scored 25 points and seven rebounds in the Calhoun season opener. Chapin Rierson finished with 14 points and nine rebounds in the win.
No. 9 East Hall 74, Dawson County 57: Tylor Brown’s career-high 29 points paced the Vikings in a lopsided victory. Triston Cooper added 12 points and Jacquen Hopkins netted 13 to round out the scoring.
Central-Macon 70, No. 10 Southwest Macon 61: Starting guard Aaron Ridley missed the game with a stress fracture in his back, and the lack of his presence proved costly as the Patriots dropped a region game. In the defeat, Nick Hargrove Jr. finished with 27 points and seven rebounds to go with his four assists. Justin Slocum posted a double-double with 20 points, 11 rebounds and seven blocks.
Blessed Trinity 50,Washington 32: Jackson Svete scored 13 points and John Michael Bertrand added 12 to lead the Titan charge. Known for its grinding defense, Blessed Trinity held Washington scoreless in the first quarter and allowed only seven first half points. Mynome Bell led Washington with 10 points.
Sonoraville 70, Adairsville 62: Wil Walraven poured in a game-high 29 points to help the Phoenix rise over Adairsville. Jaeden Irving and Brad Wilson also played well, scoring 15 points and 10 points.

No. 1 Seminole County 94, Mitchell County 73: Jordan Harris scored 41 points again, and added eight assists, seven rebounds and six steals to add to his legacy in south Georgia. Anfernee King went for 27 points, eight assists, seven steals and five boards.
No. 5 GAC 55, No. 2 Pace Academy 49: The Spartans officially announced their presence as a threat to contend for the Region 6 title after sending Pace Academy to a 0-3 start. Garrett Covington powered the attack with 20 points and received great balanced play from his teammates. Brian Coffey Jr. returned from an injured knee to add nine points while Jacob Hoffman and Hunter McIntosh added 10 and 11 points respectively.
No. 6 Holy Innocents’ 74, Hapeville Charter 50: Cole Smith remained hot with 22 points. Jules Erving added 18 for the Golden Bears.
Benedictine 68, Bryan County 63 OT: Tyleek Collins scored 21 points to power the Cadets in a thriller. Terry Tolbert added 16 points while Chase Marini and Cooper Marini added 12 and 10 points respectively.

No. 2 St. Francis 67, Buford 65: Coach Eddie Martin gets closer and closer to earning a signature victory at Buford. The Knights held on against the Wolves behind 21 Kobi Simmons points. Anthony Showell and Chance Anderson scored 18 and 11 points respectively. Sahil Patel finished with 12 points for Buford. Will Springer sank four threes en route to a 14 point night. Alex Jones chipped in 13 points in the loss.
No. 3 North Cobb Christian 56, Trion 27: Demiere Brown scored 12 points and snatched 10 rebounds to lead North Cobb Christian. Will Crumly controlled the glass with 13 rebounds of his own.
No. 4 Whitefield Academy 75, No. 9 Walker 57: Brendon Myles posted another double-double with 19 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and three steals to lead the Wolfpack. Isaiah Hart finished with 18 points and five steals while Malik Jones added 10 points.
No. 6 Lakeview Academy 66, Union County 33: The Lions received 15 points and 10 rebounds from Carter Reeves to blow by Union County. Drew Cottrell and Josh Randolph both scored 12 points while Daniel Fadool and Jack Blackburn both notched six assists.
No. 7 St. Anne-Pacelli 71, Central-Talbotton 55: Tre Sudberry and Armon Prophet continued their strong play for the Vikings. Sudberry scored a team-high 22 points with five assists, two blocks and four steals while Prohpet finished with 18 points, 12 assists and seven steals. Triston Wells also chipped in 12 points.

No. 4 South Forsyth 68, Habersham Central 37: Maryland signee Sarah Myers led the way with a game-high 19 points. Emily Dreslinski and Caroline Diem scored 11 and 10 points respectively in the win.
No. 8 Tucker 73, Rockdale County 36: Morgan Collins scored 12 points while Jayla Morrow and Chiqueria Cook both added nine. Morrow also collected three assists and three steals. Cook pulled down nine rebounds.
Duluth 34, Peachtree Ridge 30: Freshman Torey Walker led the Lady Cats to an important region win, scoring 14 points at home.

No. 2 Sequoyah 77, Cass 44: The She-Chiefs routed host Cass behind Lauren Hartman’s 21 points and seven rebounds. Both Kelley Hartman and Emily Seres scored 11 points while Megan Garcia and Peyton Satterfield pitched in nine apiece. Alyssa Cagle finished with eight points, five rebounds and seven assists.
McIntosh 42, Drew 24: DeLayne Rotolo powered the Lady Chiefs with 17 points. Savannah Soles added 10 and Maddie Emmet netted six in the victory.
North Springs 49, Forsyth Central 41: Julie Richards went for 26 points and 11 rebounds, but the Lady Dawgs were unable to rally back for the win after a slow start.

No. 3 Marist 42, Columbia 18: Ansley Goss powered a balanced War Eagle attack with 16 points and six assists. Dominique Oden dazzled on both ends with 14 points, eight assists and seven rebounds. Annabelle Farabaugh added 10 points.
St. Pius 47, Cross Keys 25: 11 players scored for the Golden Lions led by Hannah Jones’ 10 points. Mai Vy Madden scored seven points and Leah Middleton finished with six. Cross Keys was led by Kahniya McField’s 12 points and Yuyan Ke’s nine points.

No. 3 Dawson County 62, East Hall 55 2OT: No. 3 Dawson County survived in 2OT against an extremely good Lady Vikings team. Karlie Bearden scored 18 of her game-high 24 points in the second half including a three-pointer with just over 30 seconds left to send the game to overtime. Haley Burgess scored 10 points. East Hall was led by Carly Winters’ 20 points, coming off six three-pointers. Kylah Mize netted 19 in the defeat

No. 3 Wheeler 50, Cherokee 36: The Wildcats rebounded from a sluggish first quarter in which they trailed 12-5 to knock off a pesky Warrior team. Romello White came on strong in the second half and finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds to go with his four blocks. Cam Jordan added nine points and four rebounds while Darius Perry scored eight. The Warriors were led by Phillip Cirillo’s 14 points and nine rebounds. Kash Jackson chipped in 11 points and four boards.
No. 7 Pebblebrook 104, Campbell 101 OT: Down 15 in the fourth quarter, the Falcons stormed back to force overtime and knock off an explosive Campbell backcourt. Collin Sexton led the way for Pebblebrook with 39 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Jared Harper poured in 31 points and eight assists. JJ Smith posted a double-double with 18 points, 12 rebounds and five assists while Dwight Murray chipped in nine points and three dimes. Campbell was powered by Laz Walker who went for 37 points and sank 17-of-19 free throws. Tyree Crankfield scored 26 and Mike Olmert pitched in 12 points.
No. 8 Lambert 76, North Forsyth 58: Connor Mannion proved once again why he is Navy-bound by posting 27 points and 12 boards. Ross Morkem joined him in the double-double parade with 16 points and 11 rebounds of his own. Andrew Melms scored 13 points and handed out nine helpers while Austin Deckard finished with 14 points. The Raiders were paced by Chad Bureau and Connor Stephenson who both finished with 15 points.
No. 10 Newton 88, Alcovy 42: JD Notae poured in 22 points, Jaquan Simms added 13 and freshman Ashton Hagans scored 10 points and handed out 10 assists to power the Rams in a blowout region win on the road. Dre Butler chipped in nine points and seven rebounds in limited action.
Grayson 79, Brookwood 63: Alphonso Willis and Austin Dukes combined for 43 points in the Rams win over the Broncos. Willis scored 22 and recorded nine rebounds and seven assists while Dukes had 21 points and six assists to pace Grayson. Trevian Sconiers added 14 points, seven rebounds and five assists and Hafeez Anifowoshe chipped in 12 points.
Langston Hughes 61, Newnan 60: The Panthers survived a scare on the road and escaped with a one-point win after leading by double digits in the first half. Derrick Cook scored a team-high 16 points and Khalil Cuffee added 15 to pace the Panthers. Isaiah Green, the quarterback of the Langston Hughes football team, came up big doing the dirty work inside with six points and 11 rebounds. Khalil McCoy led the way for Newnan with 17.
South Forsyth 73, Alpharetta 64: The War Eagles picked up a nice region win behind Tyler Elliott’s 23 points. Austin Childress, Joe Brandon and Santhosh Saravan all scored 12 points in the win.
Duluth 62, Mill Creek 47: Obinna Ofodile powered the Wildcats inside once again with 19 points and 12 rebounds to secure an important Region 7 victory.
Berkmar 72, Central Gwinnett 69: In throwback night, playing in front of a packed house with alumni aplenty, the Patriots sent the home crowd home happy in a tight match. Berkmar rallied from down 33-13 at the half. Al Durham led the way with 22 points, eight rebounds and seven assists. Jay Estime, back from a back injury, poured in 20 points. Darius Harrison also played well for Berkmar with 16 points.
Woodstock 48, Walton 45: The Wolverines clawed their way out of a 30-15 hole at the half to shock the Raiders. Woodstock took its first lead of the game with 4:19 remaining. Tied 45 all, Tyeke Johnson was fouled on a corner three attempt and coolly sank all three foul shots with 1.3 seconds left to complete the comeback. Johnson finished with a team-high 14 while Cameron Crowe sank three deep balls to finish with 13 points. Juanye Colon powered Walton with 19 points.
Douglas County 92, South Cobb 83: UNC signee Brandon Robinson scored 26 points to lead the Tigers to another high scoring victory.
Class AAAAA
No. 1 Miller Grove 83, Clarkston 47: Alterique Gilbert scored 21 points, added five assists and collected seven steals in the region blowout. Raylon Richardson had 20 points, 10 rebounds and four steals. Collin Young added 12 points, while Joshua Jackmon and Aaron Augustin both scored nine. Jackmon posted six steals. Augustin flirted with a triple-double but settled with a double-double, collecting 10 assists and 10 steals.
No. 2 Gainesville 85, No. 5 Heritage 79: Gainesville rallied down 11 at the half on the road to defeat the Patriots. D’Marcus Simonds had 26 points and Bailey Minor notched 20 to pace the Elephant comeback. Jordan Thomas had another big game for Heritage with 24 points in the loss.
No. 3 McIntosh 69, Mundy’s Mill 57: The Tigers held a quick 8-0 lead, a recent trend McIntosh has fallen into, falling behind early in games, but the Chiefs were able to race past Mundy’s Mill in the end. Will Washington had 18 points and eight assists while Jordan Lyons scored a game-high 19. Dishon Lowery continued his torrid rebounding pace with 10 points, 17 rebounds and four blocks. Cartez Crane led the Tigers with 16 and Kaelon Harris, who entered averaging over 22 per game, was held to nine points.
No. 4 Allatoona 72, East Paulding 49: The Bucs were able to beat “the system” and stymied the up-tempo Raiders. Ephraim Tshimanga went for 20 points, eight rebounds and eight steals. Chima Ogboi played well and posted 12 points, six boards and two steals from his forward position.
No. 8 Cedar Shoals 69, Apalachee 53: Coach L’Dreco Thomas’ Jaguars used a balanced attack to defeat the Wildcats. Jerrick Mitchell scored 21, Phlan Flemins added 14 and Stavion Stevenson posted a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds to grab the Region 8 victory.
No. 9 Riverwood 69, Forsyth Central 38: Riverwood’s strong start to the season continued with a blowout of region foe Forsyth Central. Kohl Roberts was too much inside, scoring 19 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Charnchai Chantha added 11 points and six assists in the win.
No. 10 LaGrange 74, Woodward Academy 58: Rico Smith picked up where he left off with another big game. After scoring 36 points against Mundy’s Mill, Smith went for another 31 tonight. He received help from Kenan Gray (7) and Alex Dantzler (8) in the scoring column. LaPerion Perry hopes to return soon after fracturing a toe while playing quarterback for the Grangers. Woodward was paced by Jake Nestlehutt’s 16 points.
Discovery 58, North Springs 54: The Titans picked up another win for the young program behind JeVonte Gordon and DJ Young’s 12 points.
Lanier 62, Loganville 54: With the win, the Longhorns move to 3-1 on the season. Adrian Martin continued his strong play and scored a team-high 19 points. Juwuan Jones added 12 and Tyler Taylor chipped in 10 points.

No. 1 Lithonia 78, Redan 52: Lithonia got back on the winning track with a blowout win on the road. Jacara Cross scored a team-high 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Rodney Chatman added 15 points and eight assists while Tylon Patterson netted 12 points and hauled in eight boards.
No. 7 Grady 51, No. 5 St. Pius 50: Christian Bryant and Bucknell-commit Avi Toomer’s big games helped the Knights stave off a talented Golden Lion team. Bryant went for 17 points, four rebounds, seven assists and six steals while Toomer led the way with 19 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks and two steals. Tykwaan Bryant played well with eight points, six rebounds and two blocks. St. Pius received 15 points from Kerney Lane and 14 from Christian Merrill.
No. 6 Henry County 81, Mt. Zion 62: Mt. Zion had no answer for the Warhawks’ dynamic offense. Javon Greene scored a game-high 38 points while sinking six threes. Damion Rosser poured in 23 points as well.
No. 8 Sandy Creek 83, Lovejoy 44: Sandy Creek rolled behind a performance which saw 10 players score. Christian Turner led the Patriots with 22 points, seven rebounds and four steals. Elias Harden finished with 17 points and seven steals. Evan Jester added nine points while AJ Freeman and Keith Heard both chipped in eight apiece.
North Hall 54, Oconee County 53: The Trojans advanced to 3-0 with a narrow victory over Oconee. Evan Easton led North Hall with 20 points.
Class AAA
No. 1 Laney 77, ARC 72 OT: Trailing 23-7 in the first quarter and 40-24 in the second, the Wildcats rallied to force overtime. Laney was down 40-31 at the half and down 61-47 entering the fourth before Christian Keeling and Zep Jasper turned it on. Jasper tied the game at 66-66 with 3.5 seconds left but Henry Brown was fouled and sent to the line for ARC. He missed the front end of the one-and-one and the game was sent to overtime. Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe 53, Gordon Central 43: Jordan Pickett paced LFO with 16 points. Jonathan Nesbitt and Seth Culpepper scored 11 and 10 points in the loss for Gordon Central.
West Hall 82, Greene County 59: Esteban Ulloa and Dylan Curry continued to click in the backcourt for the Spartans. Ulloa finished with 21 points, seven rebounds and seven assists while Curry posted 16 points and 12 rebounds in the win for first-year head coach Zac Swansey.
Southwest Macon 85, Rutland 76: Nick Hargrove Jr and Justin Slocum powered the Patriots to a 3-0 start. Hargrove finished with 28 points, five assists and four steals. Slocum was a force with 25 points and 17 rebounds inside. Freshman Jordan Slocum netted 17 points in the win as well.

No. 1 Seminole County 101, Mitchell County 74: UGA-bound Jordan Harris picked up where he left off in the state championship, scoring 41 points, grabbing nine boards and dishing out seven assists. Anfernee King went for 20 points, 10 assists, six steals and five rebounds in the rout.
No. 5 Holy Innocents’ 61, 1ANo. 6 SWAC 46: Brent Duncan was a force inside for the Golden Bears with 27 points and Ibrahim Shabazz added 13 to storm past the Warriors. De’Andre Ballard finished with 17 for SWAC.
No. 10 Lovett 59, North Atlanta 36: The Lions canned 11-of-16 three balls led by Henry Richardson’s 7-of-10 shooting to bombard North Atlanta. Richardson finished with 25 points. Freshman guard Ryan Greer posted 14 points, seven rebounds and six assists in the win.
Brooks County 56, Clinch County 48: The Panthers fell in their season opener to Brooks County. Jacques Holmes scored 12 points and had five assists while Zach Edmonds scored 14 in the loss.

No. 2 St. Francis 88, Walker 53: Kobi Simmons pitched in 20 points and Anthony Showell scored nine points, collected nine assists and grabbed four rebounds in the blowout over Walker.
No. 3 North Cobb Christian 96, Mt. Zion 52: Demiere Brown rolled in a game-high 29 points and seven rebounds to help the Eagles soar. Nick Fleming added 20 points and seven assists. Chris Parent pulled down 10 rebounds and handed out six helpers in the win.
No. 4 Whitefield Academy 55, Houston County 50 OT: The Wolfpack escaped a very talented Houston County team in overtime. Isaiah Hart had 18 points, six steals and four rebounds. Brendon Myles finished with 14 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks. Tyson Jackson also had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Excel Christian 54, North Paulding 53: The Eagles hit a shot at the buzzer to stun the Wolfpack. A three point attempt was blocked but retrieved by Excel for a second opportunity and their prayer was answered. Darius Thrower scored 14 and Latrel Jones had 13 in the win.

Taylor County 73, 1A-PrivateNo. 7 St. Anne-Pacelli 51: In a battle of the Vikings, John Corbin and Cordel Daniels were too much for St. Anne-Pacelli to contain. Corbin scored a game-high 25 points and Daniels netted 15. Pacelli closed the gap to eight in the fourth before Taylor County got hot and went on a run to put it out of reach. St. Anne-Pacelli received 21 points from Triston Wells and 11 points and five assists from Tre Sudberry.

Class AAAAAA
Lambert 53, North Forsyth 40: ME Craven scored 10 points to lead the Lady Longhorns over North Forsyth. Ashley Johnson added seven points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals in the win. The Lady Raiders were powered by Amber Jones who hit eight threes en route to 26 points.
Northview 45, Johns Creek 37: Freshman Ashlee Austin scored a career-high 19 points and Melissa Muench added 13 to lift the Lady Titans over Johns Creek.
Class AAAAA
No. 2 Sequoyah 50, Dalton 27: Sisters Kelley and Lauren Hartman wreaked havoc in the paint for the Lady Chiefs. Kelley scores 12 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, dished out four assists and added three blocks while Lauren posted 11 points, 13 rebounds and two blocks. Peyton Satterfield tagged on 11 points in the win.
McIntosh 48, Mundy’s Mill 31: Sam Coffey poured in 17 and DeLanye Rotolo chipped in 15 to help the Lady Chiefs knock of Mundy’s Mill. Kiara Glenn led the Lady Tigers with 14 points.

No. 8 Redan 97, Lithonia 18: With three players out, including two starters, Lithonia was no match for No. 8 Redan. Five Lady Raiders scored in double figures led by Dariyon Minor’s 20 points. Taylor Tucker posted 14 points and 11 rebounds in the win.
Heritage-Catoosa 52, Southeast Whitfield 43: Four players scored eight points or more to pace a balanced Lady Generals attack. Sydney Smith led the way with 10 points. Shayla Ludy, Ansley Bice and Emily Wiley all added eight points.
St. Pius 33, Grady 17: Hannah Jones and Kathryn McKenzie both scored nine points to pace the Golden Lions. Grady received four points apiece from Briona Jones and Kailyn Jackson. St. Pius scored the first six points of the fourth quarter and pushed the lead to 28-17 with a traditional three-point play by Jones with just under three minutes remaining to seal the game.
Henry County 68, Mt. Zion 60: Brooke Moore poured in a game-high 34 to boost the Warhawks to victory. Mt. Zion received 27 from Tyeisha Juhan and 18 from Jayda Holder.
