2029 5-6 PG Scout Henry – Union County
Union County clinched the league title, holding off a shorthanded South Forsyth 36-35. Scout yet again nearly recorded a triple-double with her dynamic two-way play. Henry poured in 9 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals. She drained a pair of pull-up threes and was able to get to the hoop for her other basket. Henry’s three-point shooting off the dribble has up-ticked over the past few weeks, making her even more dangerous with the ball in her hands on the perimeter. Her court vision has elevated those around her. Scout’s consistency throughout the offseason has her barreling into her sophomore season with incredible momentum.

2028 5-7 G Ana Anzola – South Forsyth
The lefty nearly powered South Forsyth to a come from behind win in the title game against Union County. The War Eagles trailed the entire game, down 23-13 at the half as Ana was held scoreless. After the break, Anzola switched into attack mode as she found her range from beyond the arc netting four of South Forsyth’s nine threes. Anzola tallied 14 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal in the 36-35 defeat. Her outside shooting along with her quickness pouncing into passing lanes gave the War Eagles a chance to steal a victory with multiple key pieces missing.

2027 6-1 F Hollyn Hicks – East Forsyth
The Middle Georgia State-commit proved that scoring isn’t everything. Hicks had just 2 points against Jackson County but was a stalwart defensively, grabbing 10 rebounds and blocking 5 shots to help the baby Broncos hold on for a 40-38 win. Hicks anchored the middle of the 2-3 zone, altering shots and eliminating second chances. She did very well defending one-on-one off the dribble, doing so without fouling. Hollyn’s ability to change games without having to score makes her one of the more dynamic frontcourt seniors in Georgia.

2031 5-2 PG Anna Droegemueller – East Forsyth
Part of an eight-three barrage, Anna made timely plays offensively and defensively against Jackson County, finishing with 13 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals and 1 block. Droegemueller drilled transition threes and utilized her feisty quickness to pressure guards for steals on defense while playmaking off the dribble on offense. The stat sheet stuffing eighth grader could start for plenty of varsity teams across the state. Her feel and pace are advanced.

2028 5-7 PG Madelyn Drucker – Jackson County
It was a vintage Drucker performance in a narrow 40-38 loss to East Forsyth as the lead guard collected 14 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. When Madelyn got her feet set on the catch, she nailed a pair of trail threes to keep the Panthers close. Drucker got to her mid-range bank pull-ups in transition. Against the Broncos she managed to use her size and strength to her advantage when battling for rebounds and showcased quick reactions to deflect passes. Most importantly, Madelyn pushed herself through fatigue and produced for her team in crunch time.

2030 5-4 G Morgan Bell – Jackson County
Competitive defense is quickly becoming Morgan Bell’s calling card. The freshman has drawn difficult assignments throughout the fall league but has held her own. Morgan has deceptively quick feet from her years of soccer. She does a great job getting into gaps as a help defender to disrupt drives and dig out steals. Bell picks up on things quickly, unafraid to give max effort to try and make splash plays on defense. Against East Forsyth, Morgan hustled full court as she collected 4 steals to go along with her 2 points and 3 rebounds. Bell often finds herself in the right place at the right time and doesn’t need much instruction to continuously play hard.

2028 5-4 PG Aliyah Gillespie – Lanier
Aliyah had her best game of the fall, putting up 12 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals in a 50-38 victory against Denmark. Gillespie used her end-to-end speed. She found multiple hoops in transition with both hands. She scored on short pull-ups in the lane and showed off her bounce as she skied for putbacks. Aliyah can be a high-level on-ball defender as well with her quick hands and lateral agility. She’s a momentum building player who provides major swings during the course of a game.

2029 5-9 SG Harmony LaMark – Denmark
The long-limbed LaMark splashed three three-pointers in a loss to Lanier, finishing with 11 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 blocks. Only a sophomore, I really like the trajectory Harmony is on. At the very least, she is a legitimate catch-and-shoot floor spacer who will always be atop opposing scouting reports. Harmony’s becoming more and more aggressive using her length as rebounder and switchable defender. LaMark has tools to work with and should steadily rise up the ranks of 2029 off-guards.
