Dominic LoPresti2028 5-11 PG Dominic LoPresti – Arnold Mill
What sets Dom apart from most others is the toughness he plays with. He has a chip on his shoulder along with subtle swagger as he orchestrates the offense. LoPresti has shifty wiggle with the ball as he darts through the defense. In a narrow loss to Centennial, Dominic was on point with his jump shot, sinking four threes, two coming off the bounce. When LoPresti probed his way into the paint, he scored with both hands, dropping in floaters in traffic. With how well LoPresti shot the ball, he forced panicky close outs which resulted in fouls on three-pointers. In total, Dom shot 4-9 from the free throw line. His nonchalant three-point shot gets little lift and has a quick release. I would be remiss not to mention Dominic’s court vision. He’s a daring passer who can laser assists to shooters whether it be strong side or weak side. LoPresti’s fiery pace earned him 20 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals. The gamer raises the play of those around him.

Jenson Lister2027 6-1 G Jenson Lister – Centennial
The lefty exploded for 22 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals in Centennial’s first win of the season, a 62-56 victory over Arnold Mill. Jenson was blistering hot in the first half from beyond the arc with three deep threes. After halftime, Lister showcased his offensive versatility as he began to attack downhill. Jenson had two coast-to-coast takes including letting a defender blow by with a freezing euro step in which he slowed up at the last second. Lister was aggressive in the halfcourt setting off the dribble as well, getting to the line to shoot a perfect 8-8. Jenson’s multi-level firepower was impressive.

Jackson Harrison2027 6-3 G Jackson Harrison – Milton
Jackson feels like he is steadily climbing up recruiting boards after averaging 16.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and shooting 44% from three en route to earning Class 5A Most Underrated.  On Sunday, Harrison didn’t even need his three-ball in order to do damage in 43-36 win against Cambridge, dropping in 12 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist. Harrison, a big guard with positional versatility along the perimeter, scored with both hands on tough drives. He converted two left-handed layups including an And-1. Jackson does a nice job using his frame to penetrate. He excels at getting two feet in the paint as he uses half spins and other crafty misdirection moves to get defenders on his hip. Jackson shot 4-7 from the foul line and was efficient with his mid-range pull-up.

Ramsey Dennis2027 5-10 G Ramsey Dennis – Cambridge
Although Cambridge came up short, Ramsey Dennis made a statement with his play hitting tough shot after tough shot to keep the Bears close in a seven-point loss to Milton. There wasn’t a jump shot Ramsey couldn’t hit on Sunday, sinking five on the day. He drilled three three-pointers, two via the pull-up. He utilized a spin move to get to a mid-range jumper and added another off the dribble 15-footer as well. Dennis wasn’t just sinking wide open shots either, many were well-contested requiring loads of skill and concentration in able to convert. Ramsey finished with 15 points and 3 rebounds, accounting for nearly half of Cambridge’s 36 points.

Avery Joe2027 6-2 G Avery Joe – Cambridge
I like the strength and toughness of Avery. He attacks holes with a purpose, getting his broad shoulders through the defense before exploding up to finish. Joe rebounds well for his size, playing bigger than 6-foot-2 thanks to his activity and athletic gifts. While Avery can supply points, he’s a perfect high-level glue guy that can chip in across the board wherever needed. In the Bears’ loss to Milton, Joe tallied 4 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal.

Lucas Nazario2028 6-5 F Lucas Nazario – Woodstock Hawks
The stretchy forward continues to lead the Hawks to wins, now 3-0 after a 59-41 victory vs. Chattahoochee. Lucas has a well-rounded skill set. He’s got a pretty three-point shot which opens the floor. If guarded by bigger defenders, Nazario displays a steady handle and quick first step to attack toward the rim. While his perimeter game creates mismatches, his bread is still buttered in the post. Nazario rebounds and protects the basket. He scores with both hands and is a high-energy rim runner in transition. He went for 16 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block, sinking a pair of threes.
