2028 6-4 W Mason Starr – Arnold Mill
I loved how hard Mason played in a dynamic role for Arnold Mill. Starr’s energy was infectious, crashing in for rebounds and showing off an aggressive mindset with the ball on the wing. Mason attacked off the bounce, forcing defenders to foul him in order to stop drives. Starr hit a three and shot 5-6 from the foul line. The vigor in which he rebounded from the perimeter led to stealing multiple possessions for the Mustangs. Mason tallied 16 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block in a 58-55 win over the Woodstock Hawks.
2027 5-11 G Noah Free – Arnold Mill
Free proved to be a microwave scorer, inserted off the bench to immediately provide Arnold Mill with 14 points in the first half. Noah drained four threes and converted a steal into a breakaway layup. When Free managed to get his feet set, he was efficient from beyond the arc. He showed a willingness to try and create off the bounce not only as a passer but as a pull-up jump shooter as well. His streaky outside shooting makes him dangerous as he can get hot in a hurry.
2027 6-1 F Jacob Davenport – Arnold Mill
Jacob is a foxhole guy. You want to go to war with him no matter the odds. He may not be the tallest and he may not even be the most skilled, but he definitely is the hardest worker, battling on the interior against players bigger and more athletic. Davenport plays with heart, hustle and muscle. He rips down rebounds in traffic, throwing around his physical frame to get the job done. On Sunday, his rolls to the rim resulted in downhill finishes. Jacob knocked down a three from straightaway on a baseline out of bounds set and coolly sank both free throw attempts in a tight game. Davenport scratched and clawed his way to 13 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. Jacob competes.
2027 6-3 G Tate Golden – Milton
Tate was the Golden standard once again in Milton’s 56-47 triumph over the Alpharetta Mustangs. Golden had his fingerprints all over the matchup, recording 17 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. He scored from all three levels connecting on a pair of threes, netting a mid-range jumper and scoring around the rim with a putback, a transition layup and a scooping finish off the bounce while shooting 3-4 from the charity stripe. The North Georgia-commit has been a steady presence all throughout the season with his influence on both ends of the floor in a variety of differing roles.
2028 6-5 F Evan Pritchett – Alpharetta Mustangs
Evan was a bright spot with his hustling contributions. He did a great job making himself available on flashes and cuts to open spots along the baseline. Evan converted on dump off opportunities and even stepped outside to hit a three, showing off nice touch from the perimeter as he also was a perfect 4-4 from the foul line. Pritchett contributed 17 points, 3 rebound and 2 assists against Milton in his stretch-forward role.
2028 5-9 G Fernando Borges – Woodstock Hawks
Fernando was locked in from the opening moments of the game against Arnold Mill, quickly finding space along the perimeter for catch-and-shoot threes. Fernando hit a pair back-to-back to open his Sunday and finished with six made threes, ending with 18 points and 3 rebounds in a three-point loss.
