2023 5-10 PG Rudolph Satcher – Baldwin
The most consistent player I watched at camp was home town standout Rudolph Satcher. Coming off a season in which he led Baldwin in scoring with 14.1 points per game to go along with 3.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.1 steals, Satcher brought his high motor and clutch shot making to Georgia College. Satcher, who netted a team-high 12 points in the state championship as a sophomore, has a knack for making the big play. Against North Forsyth, Satcher hit a pull-up jumper with 21 seconds left to take the lead and then secured the victory with a steal on the ensuing possession as he finished with 19 points. Later, in a tough 49-46 sudden death overtime loss to Woodward Academy, Rudolph piled in 17 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Satcher is a three-level scorer. He’s quick and creative with the ball, really good out of high screens. He’s a blur in transition but his mid-range jumper is what gives him such polish in the half court. Satcher is a pest on defense, picking up the full 94-feet with lateral quickness and active hands. Satcher is the head of the snake when it comes to Baldwin.

2023 6-3 F Jacobi Nixon – Baldwin
Bring your hard hat and lunch pail when your strap it up against Jacobi Nixon. He’s a hard-working forward that provides major toughness in the paint. He’s a physical rebounder and defender. Jacobi plays bigger than his height thanks to his nose for the ball and his ability to snatch boards and convert putbacks. Nixon brings a mean streak to the interior and embodies the grittiness of the Braves.
2023 6-3 F @CobiNixon (@bhsbraves) has been a workhorse on the interior. Tough-nosed athlete embodies what it means to be a Baldwin Brave#GCTeamCamp pic.twitter.com/WxLTSLnLvM

2023 6-3 SG Christian Burnett – Baldwin
I’ve heard a lot about Christian Burnett over the last few years and on Monday I got to watch him for the first time. What I saw was a smooth guard with nice size, both height and weight. Burnett plays at his own pace. He’s got a cool demeanor on the floor, which makes sense why his nickname is Ice. Burnett is a very good shooter that scores off the catch and off the dribble. He utilizes the jab step well before making a move. Christian excels at getting to his mid-range jumper and showed the strength to finish through contact downhill. While his scoring and three-point shot may grab the attention of most, I thought it was his defense that really helped make him a complete player. On an undersized Baldwin team, he will be asked to guard 1-5 and can do so effectively. Burnett picked up 10 total steals in the three games I witnessed. Against North Forsyth, Christian flipped a switch in the second half and took over, hitting a pair of pull-ups, a three and a transition steal to lift the Braves to a hotly contested victory. Burnett’s game translates to the next level. He makes it look easy and though he averaged 12.4 points per game last season, it feels like Burnett can get 20 anytime he wants.
2024 6-10 F Cole Kirouac – North Forsyth
Cole Kirouac is gaining steam nationally, now ranked by ESPN and starting to draw the attention of colleges. Cole is progressing nicely. He has added some muscle to his slender frame. The long lefty is a consistent rebounder and a legitimate double-double threat. He shows strength and balance in the low post, finishing with hooks, drop steps and dunks. Kirouac plays big inside, finishing up top and keeping the ball high when looking to pass out of the post. Against a scrappy Baldwin team he posted 12 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal. In a one-point win over North Oconee, Kirouac contributed 8 points and 12 rebounds. I like Kirouac’s long-term upside. Of course his height is unmissable, but it’s his skill that is intriguing. I could see Kirouac developing some stretch-four skills in his game.
2024 6-11 F @Cole_Kirouac (@NoFoBball) looks a bit stronger down low since I’ve last seen him. Talented prospect that is climbing up recruiting boards. Reliable rebounder and smart with his back to the basket.#GCTeamCamp pic.twitter.com/3Q4YPo1KpD

2024 6-4 W Brayden Turner – North Forsyth
Brayden Turner exploded for 24 points – 19 in the second half – in a 42-41 win over North Oconee. Turner is a wing that also has the size to serve some at forward. He caught fire in the corners with his three-ball, drilling six triples. Turner’s sturdy build and perimeter shooting could present mismatches especially when he lines up at the four alongside Cole Kirouac.
2023 6-0 CG Kal-el Delgadillo – North Forsyth
Kal-el Delgadillo has grown on me, every time watching him I come away satisfied with his production. He’s developed into a well-rounded combo-guard that is capable of running the offense as a distributor or looking for his points off ball. Delgadillo has a nice burst to the basket and can finish at the rim with either hand. He’s shown an ability to light it up from deep throughout the summer as well. His best game Monday came against Baldwin, up to the task with 11 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists. I could see Delgadillo drawing attention from small colleges.

2025 6-10 C Jackson McVey – Gilmer
The big sophomore was a big bright spot in an otherwise disappointing loss to Lamar County. McVey is active in the paint and plays with strength. He uses a strong drop step baseline that dislodges defenders before powering up. McVey finishes with both hands around the rim. He does a good job of sealing deep and is an aggressive offensive rebounder. He stepped outside to hit a three, a new dimension to his game I hadn’t yet seen. Defensively, McVey swallows up shots with his great length and does so without swatting down. McVey recorded 17 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 blocks. Jackson is a solid prospect. He has good body control and has already emerged as a difference maker at the varsity level.
2025 6-10 C Jackson McVey (@GilmerLadyCats) is progressing nicely. Active in the paint as a rebounder and looks to score with his back to the basket. Has also made some plays off the dribble as a passer.#GCTeamCamp pic.twitter.com/KMTxA5LnRI

2024 6-0 PG Byrd Carter – North Oconee
I liked what Byrd Carter brought to the table in Milledgeville. He’s a steady well-rounded guard that can help out in all facets of the game. He lit it up in the two games I saw with 5 total threes. He provided scoring in the paint and helped initiate the offense. Carter netted 12 points against North Forsyth before supplying 15 vs. Veterans. Carter’s ability to knock down outside shots whenever Jake Chandler is off gives Coach Rick Rasmussen a reliable second option when the defense needs to be stretched out.
2023 5-9 PG Will Burroughs – Veterans
The quickness, energy and playmaking of Will Burroughs immediately caught my eye. I loved the pace at which he played. Burroughs was a pass-first true point guard that did a great job of driving and kicking. He would break his man down off the dribble and suck in the defense before finding the open man. Burroughs was a threat to score as well, hitting 3 threes in the two games I saw and finishing with 9 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal in a tight win over North Oconee. Will seems like a fun guard to play with.
2023 6-11 C Aaron Jones – Veterans
Teeming with potential, 6-foot-11 Aaron Jones is still putting the pieces together. He had his best game against Jefferson County, hanging 14 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. Jones has great length, but still needs to add weight. He has a soft touch in the paint, scoring a lot of points on putbacks in which he long arms rebounds and shoots overtop the defense. Jones knocked down a pair of mid-range jumpers which are hard to contest. Adding strength will help him quicken his post moves and score at the rim.
2023 5-8 PG Robert Kiernan – Pincecrest Academy
Only 5-foot-8, Robert Kiernan provided a fearlessness at point guard. His ability to get into the paint, hang in the air and finish tough scoop layups was impressive. He gets English on his shots, spinning them off the glass as he brings the ball from below his waist in midair. Kiernan wants to attack the rim on first instinct and probes defenses until he sees a crevice. On the other side of the floor, Robert was a capable defender with quick hands. Kiernan finished with 18 points, 1 rebound, 4 steals and 1 block in a 36-33 win over Jasper County.
2023 5-10 PG DeKarteyia Craig – Wilkinson County
The Twiggs County native is the engine that makes Wilkinson County go. DeKarteyia Craig is relentless. He plays with a terrific motor on both ends of the floor. It feels like Craig is always involved in every play. He grabs rebounds and starts the break, looking to push ahead to find open teammates. He’s aggressive in the full court press and has the timing to rotate over and block shots from behind. The lefty posted 4 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 7 steals and 2 blocks in a win over Southeast Bulloch.
2023 6-4 F Kwaveon Hill – Wilkinson County
An All-Region selection, Kwaveon Hill showcased his toughness around the rim. Hill is a combo-forward that does the majority of his damage in the paint. He’s a strong rebounder that draws fouls when securing second chance opportunities. He tacked on 12 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists.
2023 6-0 G Justin Stanley – Wilkinson County
Justin Stanley is rail thin, but he is an assassin with his three-point shot. Playing alongside DeKarteyia Craig has benefited him as Craig knows how the draw in the defense and find his favorite shooter wide open. Stanley sank a pair of threes and thrived in transition. He used a floater on multiple occasions as he netted 20 points and 5 rebounds.
2024 6-1 PG Brandon Peters – Woodward Academy
It was my first time seeing Brandon Peters, Woodward Academy’s leading scorer at 14.9 points per game as a sophomore. The first thing that you notice is his chiseled physique. Peters is cut from stone, able to put the majority of college guards to shame with his body. Brandon is more than just an intimidating athlete, he’s a scary good player too. Peters had it going in a 49-46 win over Baldwin, netting 4 threes en route to 22 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Peters shoots it off the dribble, keeping defenses alert at all times with his range. When he put his head down, he was able to get to the rim and score through the teeth of Baldwin’s feisty defense. Peters is definitely a player I want to see more of. He’s a prospect colleges need to know about.
