2021 5-11 PG Richard Visitacion – Cross Creek
The Butler transfer was a blur. Now at Cross Creek, the Razorbacks will have an elite guard to run the offense. Richard Visitacion was great all day long. He broke down defenders and got into the lane where he looked to facilitate first. Visitacion is a true playmaker that uses a quick burst to turn corners and advanced court vision to find teammates. He’s a sharp athlete that has great lift on his jumper. Visitacion is dangerous in pick-and-roll settings as both a passer and scorer. D-III programs have been tracking his progress. Expect some D-II schools to get involved down the road.

2021 5-9 PG Chase Ballard – Lithonia
A terrific summer has set up Chase Ballard for a big year at Lithonia after transferring in from Arabia Mountain. Ballard is an elite athlete for his size. He’s lightning quick with the ball and elevates to the rim when finishing inside. Ballard is dynamic in ball screens. He understands how to snake the pick and gets to his spots at ease where he can consistently knock down 10-15 footers. Defensively is where Ballard separates himself from other undersized guards. He’s a pest that will pick up the entire length of the floor and will play possum before jumping an inbound pass and steal it for a quick layup. With his great bounce, Ballard can even swat away unsuspecting shots up close. Whoever lands Ballard at the next level is getting a hungry competitor.

2022 6-4 SG Seth Hubbard – St. Francis
An early cut finger on a dunk attempt nearly slowed down Seth Hubbard, but he was able to display his pedigree even though he wasn’t at 100%. Hubbard is a smooth off-guard with good length. He plays at a pace that’s under control and on Sunday, was unflappable. He heated up as the day went on, using his three-point shot to get into a groove. He gets great lift on his jumpers and has an effortless release. He’s a three-level scorer that has gotten better year after year at getting into the paint. He can float in the lane to let shot blockers fly past and he can finish with authority when he’s at the tin. Hubbard has a big final two seasons ahead of him. Though he’s a few inches shorter, Hubbard has a few similarities to Florida-commit Kowacie Reeves Jr.’s game. He will be a major target at the D-I level.

2021 6-0 CG Sean Edewor – Greenbrier
One of the biggest pleasant surprises was the Augusta area’s Sean Edewor. He’s a strong bodied guard with a compact shot that releases close to his ear. Edewor knocked down mid-range and long-range shots all throughout camp. Once defenses started respecting his shot, he was ability to create off the dribble and use his strength to finish at the rim. Edewor played under control and was a stabilizing presence on offense.

2022 5-8 PG Omari Taylor – Arabia Mountain
The energy provided by the undersized lefty was a constant at camp. Whenever Omari Taylor stepped on the floor, he made an impact. In one-on-one settings he used his body control and upper body strength to brush off defenders. In game play, Taylor could be seen crashing the glass to earn second chance points and hustling all over on defense. Taylor had some good moments slicing his way to the basket and knocked down open outside shots when the opportunity arose. He’s a nice little player that should see some key minutes over his final two seasons.
