Jamesen Hollomon
2027 5-11 F Jamesen Hollomon – Porter Sports – Schley County
I loved what I saw from Jamesen Hollomon. Stashed away in Schley County, opportunities for exposure during the high school season will be few and far between but luckily Hollomon made the most of her week playing with Porter Sports during the Live Period. In a 58-54 win over Oklahoma Swarm, Jamesen posted 13 points, 5 rebounds, 6 steals and 1 block. In a 48-19 route of FBC Untamed, she had 5 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 steals and 2 blocks. Hollomon has a strong frame. She’s a steady rebounder that can bang inside. I came away extremely impressed with the overall skill of Jamesen. She has good footwork in the post and does a great job finishing with her left hand. She showed spin moves in the paint and the ability to attack coast-to-coast. Hollomon flashed quick instincts on defense, deflecting passes and challenging shots. Only a rising sophomore, if Jamesen has any help around her, I expect Schley County to be competitive in Class A D-II and for Hollomon to post gaudy numbers over the course of her career. Jamesen looks like a future college basketball player.

Kaliyah Oliver
2027 5-8 G Kaliyah Oliver – Porter Sports – Carrollton
Georgia Southern offered in June while other D-I programs are quietly tracking her closely. Oliver is the next tough-nosed guard to come out of Carrollton. Listed at 5-foot-8, Kaliyah is strong for her size and uses that strength to get on the glass. She battles for position to grab offensive boards and score putbacks through contact with both hands. Aside from her rebounding and grittiness on defense, what elevates Kaliyah as a prospect is her three-point shot. She can fill it up off the catch but also can get downhill. Against the Oklahoma Swarm, Oliver sank two threes and finished with 16 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals. She followed up her double-double with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals against FBC Untamed. Kaliyah is stuck in a crowded, experienced Carrollton backcourt but her outside shooting and toughness are special enough to earn big minutes in Year 2.

Shelby McCall2026 5-7 G Shelby McCall – Team Elite Hubbard Pink – Hillgrove
You can always count on the hustle of Shelby McCall. One of the hardest playing guards in the state, Shelby gets the absolute most out of her frame every single game. Listed at 5-foot-7, McCall plays closer to 6-foot with how well she rebounds and her overall aggressiveness on both ends of the floor. In a loss to SR Elite Blue, Shelby was a bright spot with 14 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist and 5 steals. McCall hit two shots from the mid-range – one off the catch and one off the bounce. She converted steals into transition layups and snuck her way onto the glass for putbacks. Shelby doesn’t quite get the headlines at Hillgrove playing alongside two other guards with D-I offers, but McCall’s importance to the Hawks can’t be overstated. She is an invaluable glue-guy that makes winning plays consistently whether scoring or not.

India Williams
2026 5-9 G India Williams – Team Elite Hubbard 3SGB – Westminster-Augusta
The GIAA star might not be a household name across Georgia, but she is certainly one of the very best players in the Peach State that does not play in the GHSA. India is a big guard with a tight handle. She loves to shoot the three off the dribble. In two wins, Williams sank five threes and averaged 11.5 points, 5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 4 steals. India can breakdown defenders and get to the rim with both hands. While she is a dangerous outside shooter, her shot selection from distance has room for improvement. Just now heading into her junior season coming off a year in which she averaged 22.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 3.7 steals, Williams has the talent to draw attention from D-I and D-II schools alike as her game continues to grow.

2027 5-3 G Madison Bennett – Porter Sports – Trinity Christian
A quick little guard who provides on-ball defensive pressure and knockdown three-point shooting, Madison Bennett was a consistent force along the Porter Sports perimeter. She had 13 points and 3 steals against the Oklahoma Swam and added 12 points, 1 rebound and 6 steals against FBC Untamed, hitting two threes apiece in each game. Bennett is one of the best three-point shooters in the 2027 class, hitting 78-208 (38%) as a freshman. If she is able to develop into a penetrating drive-and-kick playmaker, it will help diversify her game and give her even more long-term value at the college level.

Maddie Harkins2027 5-6 G Maddie Harkins – FBC NextUp – Jackson County
Picking up and playing heavy minutes with a new team this week, Maddie Harkins acclimated herself well to high-level travel basketball. She hit multiple threes throughout War Games and SummerSlam, most of her damage coming while running corner to corner along the baseline. Maddie got to the foul line numerous times and hit mid-range jumpers. Slowing down her decision making when attempting passes is an area for growth. Harkins’ effort helped make up for any mental miscues as she was quick to dive on the floor for loose balls even when games were out of reach.
