2026 5-10 G Lydia Ledford – Buford
With Ohio State-commit Ava Grace Watson absent, Lydia Ledford got her chance to step into the forefront as Buford’s top scoring option and didn’t disappoint. The sophomore dominated against Fannin County with 25 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals. Her defense ignited her offense, picking off passes in the full court press. Ledford poured it on from all levels, finishing with both hands inside while mixing in three floaters, short pull-ups and three three-pointers. Lydia has quick instincts on both ends of the floor. The ball doesn’t stick in her hands. She makes decisions and attacks. Presbyterian has offered.
2025 5-9 G Athena Vachtsevanos – North Hall
For North Hall to clinch a postseason berth out of a deep and difficult Region 8-4A, Athena Vachtsevanos will have to play a key role. The wiry guard has length and quality size on the perimeter. She can help play 1-3. Athena is an agile driver that can finish through traffic. She scored extremely well with her left hand against North Murray, converting thrice. When Vachtsevanos is feeling it, her three-point shot stretches out the defense and gives her more room to slash. Athena posted 18 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist.
2025 5-5 G Emma Lightsey – White County
Now an upperclassman, Emma Lightsey is putting together a strong summer heading into her junior season. Her blend of three-point shooting and pressure defense has been paramount to the Warriors’ success. Emma cashed in on four threes against East Forsyth and played swarming defense in the full court to finish with 18 points and 4 steals. Lightsey is steadily trending up.

2025 5-8 SG Jaliyah Benefield – Dacula
The athleticism of Jaliyah Benefield catches your eye quickly. She moves differently than others on the floor. Jaliyah has a cool feel to her game. She is able to contribute in multiple areas and can be used a valuable chess piece to exploit advantages. Against Gainesville she sank a pair of threes en route to finishing with 10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 1 block. I expect Benefield to pop up on more and more radars over her final two seasons. She is a sneaky good prospect.
2026 5-8 G Laura Frances Willis – North Oconee
You can always count on a steady performance out of Lolly. Against Grayson, Willis produced 11 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 block. Willis can play either on or off the ball. She is a dangerous three-point shooter and has really improved as a creator. Laura Frances is trending to have a breakout sophomore season. Don’t be surprised if she leads the Titans in scoring sporadically throughout the season, forming a dynamic one-two punch with Aiyanna Peavy.
2025 5-8 G Skyler Brady – Jefferson
I loved what I saw from Skyler Brady in the first half against Mill Creek. The softball standout recorded 14 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals. She netted a pair of threes and got downhill with great success, scoring with both hands and finishing through contact. Her outside shooting helped open up the floor. She showed some wiggle as she was able to breakdown defenders when attacking the hoop.

2026 6-2 W Bella Ragone – Mill Creek
Bella dropped a casual 14 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block against Jefferson and earned an offer from Georgia Tech later in the night. It is shocking that only Marist, Lipscomb and Georgia Tech have offered Georgia’s current number one ranked 2026. Ragone’s ceiling and skill are undeniable. The 6-foot-2 lefty is a three-level scorer. She loves to use a quick jab step upon catching and attacks both left and right. Ragone had some nice coast-to-coast finishes with her right hand. Bella has earned rave reviews from spectators and rival coaches early on in her career. It’s only a matter of time until multiple Power 5 schools jump into her recruitment. Georgia Tech may be the initial springboard.

2025 5-8 G Caroline Beavin – North Gwinnett
Caroline Beavin looked great against Apalachee. Offense came easy for the rising junior as she scored efficiently off the dribble with her outside shot. Beavin buried four pull-up threes while mixing in downhill attacks, finishing with both hands. She totaled 20 points, 6 rebounds and 1 steal. Caroline seemed comfortable and confident being North Gwinnett’s go-to scorer and playmaker. Wednesday was a huge stock up performance.
2024 5-8 G Riley Black – Chestatee
Riley got anywhere and everywhere she wanted to go in the final game of the day, posting 19 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals against Oglethorpe County. Black’s tight handle in traffic has really elevated her effectiveness in getting to her spots. She uses her body well to shield against defenders but no longer has to back down and spin multiple times to get to the hoop as her face up dribble game has improved.
2025 5-11 F Kenzie Henderson – Oglethorpe County
D-II programs are starting to take notice of Kenzie Henderson’s upside. Her length and elite athleticism can’t be ignored. In a loss to Chestatee, Henderson managed 15 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Her long striding speed gets her to the rim in a blink. When the Patriots are able to lob her the ball, Henderson finishes at a high rate. Kenzie’s development over the next two seasons will be interesting to track.
