Sanai McKenzie-Watson2027 5-11 F Sanai McKenzie-Watson – Academy Elite – Grovetown
One of the most impressive players from the weekend was Sanai McKenzie-Watson. Listed at 5-foot-11, Sanai plays even bigger. Her length and solid frame stand out. Though she wears a large right knee brace, it doesn’t affect McKenzie-Watson’s mobility. She made some dazzling moves offensively, showcasing nimble footwork and dynamic versatility. Sanai was a physical workhorse in the paint, a tremendous rebounder in traffic but it was her finesse ball skills that really stood out. She was able to attack from the wing and get downhill with deft spin moves. She knocked down mid-range jumpers and stretched the floor to the three-point line. McKenzie-Watson was effective out of the pick-and-roll, catching on the move to finish at the rim. She utilized turnaround jumpers and converted a handful of And-1s throughout the weekend. Sanai went for 17 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block in a win over Underrated Academy and finished the tournament with 7 points, 10 rebounds, 1 steal and 3 blocks against Redline 16U. All signs point toward a breakout junior season for Sanai.

Ella Rainwater
2027 5-5 PG Ella Rainwater – Redline 16U – Buford
Ella brings a positive attitude to the floor which is infectious amongst her teammates. Rainwater provides a spark with her two-way impact. She’s a quick, agile ball handler that doesn’t get sped up. Ella controls the ball with a variety of moves which help her get to her spots. Her activity level on defense frustrates opponents, blending her speed with her compact strength. For her height, Ella is a competitive rebounder. While she doesn’t call her own number much, if pressed to score Rainwater can with both her three-point shot and ability to finish with either hand at the rim. Her most productive performance was in a rout of Peak Performance, piling in 7 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 6 steals.

Peyton Denmark
2027 5-11 W Peyton Denmark – Redline 16U – Buford
The length that Peyton has and her blossoming versatility make her an interesting long-term prospect. Standing close to 6-foot tall, Denmark is a perimeter piece that can be used in a variety of ways. She has a well-rounded offensive game. Peyton hits threes, mid-range jumpers and can score with floaters in the lane. Denmark could be a major boon when playing the high post against the zone as she can attack looking for her own shot or use her height to survey the defense to kick to open shooters. If Peyton fills into her frame some more, she can be used as a small-ball big. Posting her up against smaller guards could become an added dimension to her game. Defensively, although still slender, Denmark showed some toughness throughout the weekend with her ability to block shots. In two wins, Peyton posted 8 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal and 2.5 blocks per game.

Michelle Ezumah2027 5-10 C Michelle Ezumah – Redline 16U – Lanier
Listed at 5-foot-10, Michelle always plays much bigger than her size. Ezumah is a dominant defensive presence with her rebounding and shot blocking abilities. Her body control and strength in the post has improved each year. Michelle’s length and quick timing when it comes to tracking balls is what makes her stand out. She snatches rebounds in traffic like a vacuum. In a 44-38 win over Academy Elite, Ezumah posted 12 points, 11 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals and 2 blocks. While she struggled in the first half shooting 2-10 from the foul line, Michelle closed strong with a game-high eight points in the final 16 minutes to lead Redline.

Avynn Kniceley
2027 5-6 G Avynn Kniceley – Redline 16U – South Forsyth
Avynn is a trustworthy sparkplug on both ends of the floor. No longer one of the smallest players on the floor, Kniceley has grown in stature each season but still maintains her scrappy aggressive mindset, especially on defense. Avynn buzzes around the ball using her quickness to turnover the opposition. Her defense usually ignites her offense, scoring hoops in transition whether it be off her own steals or filling the lanes when someone else is pushing the ball. Over two games, Kniceley averaged 6.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4 steals.

Reese Lewis2026 6-0 C Reese Lewis – Redline 17U – Fannin County
The double-double machine didn’t quite reach her mark of double-digit rebounds but she still provided 15 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks in a 60-21 win. Reese did everything that has made her successful over her career. The elite offensive rebounder and rim runner found points on the backboard and in transition. Lewis was able to get to her left hand whenever she needed to and was effective out of the pick-and-roll. As Reese adds to her game, becoming more of a perimeter shooter and threat to attack from the wing, her ceiling will continue to rise. Expect D-II programs to be heavily involved.

Maddie Siuta2026 5-11 G Maddie Siuta – Redline 17U – Dawson County
Maddie posted 12 points, 1 rebound and 8 assists in a 60-21 win over Only Us Legends. The big guard has a lot of experience distributing out of the wing pick-and-roll, able to deftly float in passes to her bigs on the move. Siuta sank a pair of threes, scored on a drive, with a floater and on a fastbreak. With her size and skill, Maddie has covetable versatility at the next level. Her playmaking took a big jump this past season along with her consistency. Siuta’s improved foot speed has allowed her to become a more impactful perimeter defender as well. D-II programs will want to track her progress.
