2024 6-1 C Rionna Byrd – Tattnall Square
The longest player in camp was also one of the youngest. Rionna Byrd has plenty of time and plenty of potential to become a hot commodity. Byrd is a mobile post that can rim run and has quality hands, able to catch on the run and finish. She may need to add some weight over the next four years, but she has a fine wiry frame and her lack of bulk doesn’t look like it will affect her effectiveness. Byrd was aggressive on offense. She loved to take short 7-10 footers in the lane a knocked down a few of them. Rionna showed the ability to attack on straight line drives when the opportunity presented itself. Byrd didn’t block a ton of shots but she rebounded well. She will have to improve her touch from the foul line, but she’s got a good set of tools to build something impressive.
2024 5-5 PG Alaya Grane – Northside-Warner Robins
Alaya Grane impressed when I watched her online at the Girls Invite held by HypeSouth, WR All-Stars and Off The Dribble Podcast and she impressed again on Sunday in person. Grane has a very good feel for her age and a strong body. She handles pressure well and has good court vision. Grane is good at picking her spots and mixing in her aggressiveness. Alaya takes her time when probing the defense before a quick step can get her into the paint where she can finish in a variety of ways. On defense she was able to dig out a handful of steals and make the right read on advantage opportunities. She had 6 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in a 40-29 win.

2024 5-4 PG Taliah Grier – Central-Macon
Another steady guard mature beyond her years from Middle Georgia, Taliah coolly scored the ball from different levels. The lefty did a nice job of reading the defense and finding open spaces where her teammates could hit her. She scored in the paint, the mid-range and the three-point line. Grier should be an impact player from Day 1 at Central-Macon.
2022 5-6 G @LailaBattle21 (@WbbCampbell) is having a nice game.
Plays bigger than her size. Helps on the glass. Plays under control and can find the open man.
Nice assist to @GrierTaliah #PROResolution @PRO_Movement1 pic.twitter.com/ZHgtA1zDAB

2023 5-8 G MaKayah Harris – Marietta
MJ Harris showed some flashes throughout camp of being able to contribute in a positive way throughout her sophomore season. Harris has quality size and is a solid athlete. She started the fast break from time to time and displayed switchability on defense. She has a respectable three-point shot to go along with a balanced floor game.
2024 5-4 PG Betty Nguyen – Buford
Coming up through the Lanier feeder program where she had a huge role in her grasp her freshman season, Betty Nguyen instead decided to go to neighboring Buford to battle her way into the rotation. It may take some time for her to see quality minutes, but Nguyen’s subtle IQ and confidence with the ball will help her become a very solid high school player in due time. Nguyen did the little things at camp. She cut without the ball and helped keep the offense flowing as a good decision maker. She pushed the ball in transition and looked to get her teammates involved.
