Carrollton led 29-24 at the break, but the sharpshooting of Davon Aikens kept the Eagles within striking distance, the League leader in three-pointers made netting three of his four long balls over the opening 20 minutes bringing his season total to 15 over six games. In the second half, Watkins got into a grove by attacking the rim, scoring 10 of his 18 points in the frame. With 3:39 to play, the Eagles found themselves knotted up with the only undefeated team remaining in the league at 46. Cameron Catholic and Noah Henderson leading the charge with their perimeter shot making. Holding a 52-50 lead with 11.5 seconds left, Carrollton delivered the deciding blow as Cam Merritt hit Pace on a full court inbound pass over the top of the defense for a two-handed slam to put the game away.
