Harris Reynolds2026 6-5 PG Harris Reynolds – St. Pius X
The star power of Clemson-signee Harris Reynolds was too much for Darlington to overcome as the Golden Lions secured a 69-59 win in a hostile environment. Reynolds had a bit of a slow start, scoring three points in the first quarter sitting the final 3:10 of the frame. By halftime he was up to nine points and by the end of the game the dam had completely broken, Harris pumping in 25 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block with three made threes and 12-14 shooting from the foul line. Reynolds’ slender length and terrific height make him extremely difficult to cover. Even with Darlington face guarding him, Harris was able to break free with how well he moved without the ball. He burnt the Tigers twice on baseline out of bounds sets, catching and immediately draining quick no-dip threes before defenders could catch up to contest. Reynolds’ bounce was on full display with two slams including the punctuation late in the game a windmill dunk off a steal.  The Golden Lions are rolling right now. As long as Harris remains healthy, St. Pius X will a threat to push for a state title.

Christian Teasley2026 6-2 G Christian Teasley – Darlington
With Georgia College, Berry and Oglethorpe in attendance, Christian Teasley played extremely well with 19 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists against St. Pius X. Teasley is a smooth scorer, gifted at getting to the rim and hanging in the air to finish tough layups with either hand. Christian scored twice on drives, one a pretty spin move with his left-hand. He scored of an offensive rebound, drilled three threes and went 4-6 from the foul line. Christian’s athleticism, size and overall offensive skill level should draw much more attention from college coaches considering Point is his lone offer. What won’t show up in the box score from Saturday but should be noted for college coaches looking to learn more about Christian is that he drew two charges against the Golden Lions, sacrificing his body to make winning plays for his team. D-II, D-III and NAIA schools should all get in the mix.

Josiah Azu2026 6-2 SG Josiah Azu – South Paulding
It wasn’t an explosive scoring output for Josiah in a 68-61 win over The King’s Academy but Azu still managed to shine with his motor, athleticism and robust floor game. Josiah finished with 8 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 5 blocks. The bouncy guard elevated above the competition to quickly get to rebounds and to erase shots around the paint. Jo scored on an And-1 cut, a mid-range jumper and twice in transition – one an alley-oop lay-in. Azu has all the measurables to play at the next level. When he’s at his very best, not only is he filling up the box score away from the ball, but he’s stripping the nets with his knockdown three-point shot. North Georgia has been in contact over the offseason.

PJ Rosser2027 6-2 SG PJ Rosser – South Paulding
The explosive lefty poured in 11 of his team-high 19 points in the fourth quarter to keep The King’s Academy at bay. Known for his slashing, PJ’s jump shot provided a spark as well netting three mid-range jumpers and a three-pointer. Rosser put the icing on his frantic finish with a steal and a slam as he added 1 rebound, 2 assists and 2 steals to his tally. The southpaw has quickly become a consistent producer for the Spartans, showing he can abruptly take over games with his energy and effort. He is a serious stock riser.

Brooks Thrasher2026 6-5 W Brooks Thrasher – The King’s Academy
A newly-minted 1,000-point scorer, Brooks caught fire in the fourth quarter with 18 points in a 68-61 loss to South Paulding. In total, Thrasher posted 30 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists while canning 8 threes. Standing a legit 6-foot-5, Brooks’ length and smooth shooting stroke are starting to draw college attention as multiple D-III offers have poured in over the past few months. His easy, effortless three-point release can be tough to defend due to his expeditated motion with limited wasted movement. Not only can Brooks stretch the floor at a high level, he’s athletic enough to get to the rim and finish with dunks. Even more offers are on the precipice as more and more schools get out to watch in person.

Cole Bennett2026 5-10 PG Cole Bennett – The King’s Academy
I’m a fan of Cole Bennett. The shifty lefty is a savvy penetrator with subtle speed. His ability to get a piece of the paint on drives leads to kick out threes or difficult layups in traffic which Bennett excels at converting. Against South Paulding, Cole drained three three-pointers including a halfcourt heave to end the third quarter. Bennett finished with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals, shooting 5-6 from the foul line. I like Bennett as a small school option at the next level. He can come in and provide juice in the backcourt right away.

2026 6-4 PF Roger Wilson – The King’s Academy
It’s not often that I write about a player that did not score, but that’s how effective Roger was even without putting up points. The burly post collected 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and 7 blocks. Roger is a skilled pick-and-pop capable big with the court vision to deliver dimes to streaking teammates. He’s got quality moves inside and is good at using his body to screen and attack rebounds. The most impressive aspect of Roger’s game against South Paulding was his timing when blocking shots. The bigger and more athletic Spartans struggled to score against Wilson as he provided a brick wall of verticality to alter shots routinely. Wilson’s glue-guy game will lead to many wins this season.

Demetrius Brown
2026 6-0 G Demetrius Brown – Calvary Day
Demetrius always impresses me with his consistency. Underrated as one of the top guards in Savannah, Brown went about his way to tally 14 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals in a 50-48 win over Carrollton. Brown netted a pair of threes, scored with a short jumper on a reverse pivot and attacked the rim for a layup for his four buckets along with his 4-4 shooting from the foul line. Meech is a strong guard who doesn’t need to make flashy plays in order to be successful. He’s done a nice job transitioning into the flow of new Coach Bob Martin’s offense and has made plays to keep the Cavaliers undefeated. It feels like Demetrius has slipped through the cracks with college programs just a bit. Whoever is able to land him will get a sturdy playmaker ready to compete for minutes.

2026 6-4 W Dylan Pless – Carrollton
In a 50-48 loss to Calvary Day, Dylan Pless made his presence felt as he provided steady production throughout the game scoring in every quarter. The late blooming senior racked up 12 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block. Pless has versatility to steal minutes at multiple positions, namely the two forward spots as a tweener wing. He shows the physical traits of having some 3&D upside if he is able to craft together a consistent three-point shot from the corners. Dylan scored three times in transition – one on a coast-to-coast take. He converted a putback and had a post-up bucket as well. Pless holds value with his switchability on defense, a competitive defender on the perimeter and in the post.
