Michelle Ezumah2027 5-11 F Michelle Ezumah – Lanier
D-II and D-I schools need to start taking notice of Michelle’s rapidly improving game. From Year 1 as a gangly freshman with baby giraffe-like movements to her junior season asserting herself as the queen of the jungle, Ezumah is a dominant presence whose game continues to expand. Michelle took over in spurts against Woodstock, helping spark a decisive 15-0 run to close the game to pull away 53-33. Ezumah finished with 22 points, 15 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 4 blocks. Michelle has terrific length and great agility. She’s a top-level shot blocker but also defends extremely well on the perimeter, picking up deflections and shooting into passing lanes for steals. Ezumah has blossomed as an end-to-end attacker, capable of snagging rebounds or steals and pushing coast-to-coast with grace. The righty has perfected her left hand, scoring nine times with her off-hand out of 10 made field goals. Ezumah rim runs in transition and owns the offensive glass. She scored on putbacks, post-ups and transition buckets. Polishing up her free throw shooting and becoming a consistent threat with her jump shot are areas of growth to strive for. Michelle is every bit an All-State player and one of the most dynamic two-way frontcourt players in the state. Ezumah is a true game wrecker.

Peyton Frazier2029 6-3 F Peyton Frazier – GAC
One of the top freshman prospects in Georgia, Peyton had D-I programs talking as she went for 12 points, 19 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals and 1 block in a 50-43 loss to Tri-Cities. The slender forward wasn’t afraid to bang in the paint, high-pointing rebounds to score on three putbacks. Frazier scored a pair of And-1s, one coming from just inside the high post, netting a turnaround jumper off a spin move. Peyton’s deft shooting touch also led to a baseline jumper. At her ceiling, Frazier projects to be a three-level scorer capable of producing inside and out consistently. Her length makes her an impactful rim protector. Winthrop has already offered the potential Power 5 recruit.

Jermani Govan
2026 5-9 C Jermani Govan – GAC
The power of Jermani Govan kept GAC within striking distance of Tri-Cities. I loved how physical she was in the low post, especially with her drop step as she cleared defenders out of the way with strong elbows and decisive footwork. Jermani uses her body extremely well both when posting up and blocking out. She tallied 12 points, 14 rebounds and 2 assists. The discus and shotput standout would be a tremendous get for college programs looking to add toughness inside.

Loriel Murray
2028 6-3 C Loriel Murray – Holy Innocents’
Milton had no answers inside for Loriel Murray. Lozilla wore down the Eagles as she pounded away for 14 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks in the 65-59 win. Murray did a nice job sealing deep in the paint to score on high-low feeds. She drew fouls (4-7 FT) and earned multiple second chance opportunities. Loriel plays to her strengths, not allowing the defense any possessions to breathe as she anchors herself inside on post ups instead of settling for perimeter jumpers. The High Major recruit has a mature interior game.

2029 6-0 C Brooklyn Brunetti – Milton
Facing a High Major frontline of 6-foot-5, 6-foot-3 and 6-foot-2, Brooklyn Brunetti didn’t back down from the challenge and came in off the bench to provide the Eagles with great minutes. The freshman collected 6 points, 5 rebounds and 1 block against the defending state champs Holy Innocents’. Brooklyn has a strong frame and isn’t shy about using it. She competes at a high level inside, fighting for rebounds while playing through contact. Brunetti worked the glass for putbacks and showed a baby hook in her arsenal. There is a lot to like about Brooklyn’s future.

Katie Elder
2027 5-10 F Katie Elder – Marist
Katie finished with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists, combining with Kate Harpring to score 49 points to top North Oconee’s 43. Elder is an underrated Robin to Harpring’s Batman. Katie actually won Player of the Game last year at the Sandy’s Spiel Showcase due to her shot making while all the attention was keyed in on slowing down the Gatorade Player of the Year. Standing at 5-foot-10, Elder is a floor-stretching forward. She knocked down a pair of corner threes along with two mid-range jumpers. Katie would be a nice D-III/NAIA player if she were to be convinced to play basketball at the next level.

2028 5-11 C Kallie Mashburn – North Oconee
I like Kallie’s upside. At 5-foot-11, Mashburn is long, strong and mobile. She plays hard and is physical in traffic. She posted 7 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block against Marist. Kallie scored on pick-and-roll to the rim, catching and finishing through a foul for an And-1. Her two other buckets came in the post. Kallie might not get a ton of set post-up plays called for her, but when she does catch the ball in the paint, Mashburn is very effective. Defensively, she is reliable walling up and pursues rebounds.

2027 6-0 C Zuri Quintyne – Carrollton
I like Zuri’s game. Now an upperclassman, Quintyne will be a fixture in the frontcourt over her final two seasons. Not only is Zuri Carrollton-strong, she is deceptively bouncy as well. Quintyne gets off the floor quickly for rebounds and has good hands when catching entry passes. She finished with 7 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist. Zuri scored on an And-1 hoop in transition and converted a tough spin move in the post. Her biggest contributions came defensively as she helped smother double-double machine Hailey Wortmann, holding the 6-foot-2 post to a modest 5 points and 11 rebounds, well below her season averages of 15.3 points and 12.7 rebounds.

Jadeah Marshall
2026 6-4 C Jadeah Marshall – Loganville
You can’t teach height. The Dominican born center has elite length, standing close to 6-foot-5. A sky scraper of an interior presence, Marshall is unguardable when she keeps the ball high. Jadeah is still a bit raw as physicality can hinder her effectiveness as she does not love using a lot of power dribbles inside to reestablish position and balance if she catches in a slightly disadvantageous position but when she is able to catch and turn to shoot over the defense, she is efficient. Marshall was at her best when Loganville was able to pound her the ball deep in the paint in the third quarter after shooting just 1-3 from the field in the first half. Jadeah scored eight points in the third quarter and finished with a team-high 18 points, 17 rebounds, 1 steal and 3 blocks as 16 points came in the second half while Marshall ended the night a strong 8-12 shooting and 2-2 from the foul line. Jadeah scored on four putbacks and one post-up. Her most impressive basket came when she caught around the high post and instinctually took one dribble and elevated toward the rim for a layup. Adding strength, post moves against physical defense and improving her confidence to put the ball on the floor will help her reach her sky-high potential. Southeast Community College offered after flying in from Lincoln, Nebraska to watch her play.
