Adelyn Thompson2027 5-6 G Adelyn Thompson – Rabun County
It was Adelyn’s “Flu Game” as an inauspicious entrance off the bus led to the best game of her young varsity career, dropping 26 points, 1 rebound, 4 assists and 1 steal while battling a fever and allergies in a 48-42 win over Lanier. With AddyBeth Owens sidelined, Thompson had to move over and run the point while still being tasked with scoring the lion’s share of the points. Thompson immediately delivered as she set the tone quickly with three straight drives to the basket to jump out to a 6-0 lead. Throughout the game, Adelyn got to her left hand twice for finishes and was a foul magnet when turning corners, shooting 11-17 from the foul line. Tied at 31 after three quarters, Thompson dropped the hammer in the fourth with 10 points including shooting 7-12 from the line. Known for her three-point shooting, Adelyn netted just one long ball which shows growth in her game. Aside from her downhill attack, what stood out most was her ability to facilitate out of the pick-and-roll. Thompson hit Chloe Erlewine multiple times out of high screens, softly landing in touch passes over top of the defense. Adding a playmaking aspect to her game elevates Thompson’s ceiling a ton. With Owens sidelined, these are valuable reps for Thompson not only in the development of her skill but also to grow her confidence as Rabun County’s unquestioned go-to player.

Dare Falade2025 5-3 G Dare Falade – Lanier
It was visible in the Sandy’s Spiel Fall League this year how much Dare has improved over the course of her career. Once again on Saturday, Falade positively impacted the game with her outside shooting and hustle. Dare netted a pair of threes off the bench and drew a charge, all while scrapping for every 50/50 ball. Falade finished with 9 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals and 1 block. On a team with just four seniors in the program, Falade’s production and leadership by example are crucial for a talented yet young Lanier team to learn from.

Regan Trlica
2027 5-9 G Regan Trlica – Union County
A mid-season transfer from Sequoyah last year, Regan will make her full-time mark in North Georgia as one of the best prospects in the area. Trlica is a good athlete with a high skill level. She’s quick with the ball, able to get to her spots routinely. Regan has a crafty handle which allows her to create space when attacking off the dribble. In a 56-32 win over Habersham Central, Trlica scored from all three levels in impressive fashion. Her pull-up game was on point, hitting one from beyond the arc and showing deft footwork as she used a spin move to free herself for a mid-range and also used a step through move off the bounce to get a defender behind her before firing from 15-feet.  When she got downhill, Trlica finished with both hands, scoring twice with her left. She converted an And-1 off a cut and had a pretty take to the rim where she ball faked a defender out of place when going up to score. Regan finished with 23 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists and 1 steal. The overall polish of her game is apparent, making a memorable first impression on me. Trlica is well on her way to being a college player. D-II schools are starting to track her progress. She has an exciting final three seasons ahead of her and should become a household name amongst college coaches sooner rather than later.

2028 5-10 F Tessa Murdock – Habersham Central
Murdock’s performance against Monroe Area was no fluke, backing her 21 points and 23 rebounds in the scrimmage with 16 points, 18 rebounds and 1 block against Union County all while picking up four fouls in the first half. Tessa has tremendous instincts inside. She hunts offensive rebounds relentlessly, positioning herself in the right spots whenever a shot goes up. Her long arms and springy leaping ability allow her to get to caroms before anyone else. On a team that is starved for size besides her and Daytona Underwood, Murdock is a lock to average a double-double this season with how well she vacuums up every ball in her area. She finishes with her left hand very well, scoring three times with her most impressive bucket coming via an up-and-under. While Tessa does all her damage in the paint, she also is a threat to make a move in the high post using a quick first step to get to the hoop. Although Murdock is wiry and lean, she’s quite physical, using her forearms and elbows to carve out space when rebounding and defending. Though it’s early, Murdock may be flying under the radar with a limited social media presence, but her game is loud and will attract attention over the course of her career with her motor and consistency.

Leah Pollack
2028 5-9 W Leah Pollack – North Oconee
It was a big day for UGA supporters as not only did the Dawgs beat Tennessee, but David Pollack’s daughter made a statement in a 51-34 win over a shorthanded Cherokee Bluff team. I loved the first impression Pollack made on Saturday, showcasing a variety of tools and a keen feel for the game. Leah is aggressive. She’s very decisive with the ball, catching and making quick moves to the basket. Pollack shined in the high post and along the baseline as she ripped through and left defenders frozen as she accelerated to the rim. With Kendall Wells missing in action, Pollack picked up the slack with her rebounding and versatility on both ends of the floor. Leah sank a corner three, hit a pull-up jumper, went coast-to-coast and shot 4-4 from the foul line all while providing defense inside and out. Pollack finished with 17 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 block. Leah has great upside and very well could be the X-Factor for the Titans on their quest for a deep state playoff push.

Laura Frances Willis
2026 5-8 G Laura Frances Willis – North Oconee
Lolly’s high IQ, savvy playmaking and sharp shooting help her standout from the rest. While she may not be an electric athlete, she is a very good one that has limited wasted movements and can catch opponents off guard with her foot speed if they don’t respect her off the bounce. Willis is a threat to drop in floaters but also has the functional strength to absorb contact and convert And-1s like she did for her first bucket of the game, scoring with her left-hand on a drive. Laura Frances drilled three three-pointers as part of her 15 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal. D-II programs should tip off her recruitment soon.

2027 5-9 W Kenzie Johnson – North Oconee
Kenzie caught my eye with her strong frame and fluid mobility. Johnson has very good coordination and looks like she doesn’t shy away from the weight room. With her strength and size, Johnson can swing between forward positions, able to help out both inside and out. On Saturday, her compact three-point shot was what did damage, nailing three long balls on her way to 11 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal. Don’t be surprised to see Johnson quietly rise up the 2027 rankings throughout the course of her career. I like her upside.

Claire Carlson
2026 5-9 PG Claire Carlson – Cherokee Bluff
The shorthanded Bears struggled to keep pace with a hot shooting North Oconee team but Claire did her part to help out. She netted two threes in the first quarter and managed to fill out the box score with 8 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks. Carlson’s deep three-point shooting range, court vision and length to make plays defensively is what makes her such an attractive college prospect.
