2025 6-1 G Enzo Combs – Habersham Central
No longer a secret, one of the very best guards in North Georgia, Enzo Combs showed why more and more college programs should jump in on the Dean College-offeree as he led Habersham Central to a 77-30 destruction of Monroe Area. Combs was a two-way wrecking ball on Wednesday. He used his strength and athleticism to turn corners and finish through contact at the rim. Enzo’s three-level scoring touch was on display as he netted a pair of threes and drilled three total pull-ups, two via the mid-range. His defense sparked his offense as he was active in the press and relentless in the halfcourt shooting gaps. Enzo finished with 22 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 6 steals and 1 block in three quarters of action. The Raiders have a realistic chance to make a historic run this season. With elite size in the frontcourt, the backcourt production of Combs could be the difference in determining Habersham’s ceiling.

2025 6-7 PF Josiah McCurry – Habersham Central
Turnovers and fastbreak offense tilted the game in Habersham Central’s favor as they jumped out to a quick 15-2 lead and never looked back. With much of the game played in transition, it somewhat limited Josiah McCurry’s touches, but the big fella was effective when he got the ball, showcasing terrific skill both inside and out. When on the block, McCurry utilized a quick spin baseline to get to his reverse layup, protecting the ball from shot blockers. He also did a nice job using his size and strength to seal off for lobs over top the defense. What helps separate JoJo from other bigs aside from his back-to-the-basket skill is his soft touch on the perimeter. He opened up his scoring on the night with a three from the top of the key, finishing with 9 points and 2 rebounds. Young Harris and Bevill State have offered. More programs should enter the mix before it is too late.
2027 6-0 G Justice Reddish – Monroe Area
The new face from Alaska was a positive for Monroe Area, coming off the bench to record 10 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 steals, leading the Hurricanes in points and steals. Justice brought energy, using his defense to spark his offense. He scored off a pair of steals, one an And-1 finish. Reddish was able to wiggle his way into the teeth of the defense to drop in a pair of floaters.
2025 6-5 SG Grant Smith – Madison County
With a historic 2024 class out the door, all the burden falls upon Grant Smith to lead the Red Raiders to a competitive season. While their title window has shut, with Smith’s perimeter firepower Madison County is a dangerous underdog that could pick off a top team if the sharpshooter is locked in. Grant was hot early against Jackson County, scoring 12 first quarter points. In total, he banged in four threes finishing with 24 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals and 3 blocks in a 82-60 rout. As his stat line reflects, the Red Raiders will count on Smith to do more than just score this season. At 6-foot-5, Grant can get a head of steam downhill and find open teammates off the dribble. With his size, Smith’s jump shot is difficult contest as he gets good lift and has deep range. Grant has a golden opportunity to rebuild his stock his senior season. He currently holds an offer from Covenant College and should be tracked by D-II schools needing an elite floor spacer.
2027 6-6 F Laderrion Walker – Madison County
I got my first look at Laderrion Walker and he didn’t disappoint. Walker passes the eye-test immediately at 6-foot-6 with an athletic frame cut with muscle. Walker dominated the shorthanded Panthers with 22 points, 14 rebounds and 1 steal. Laderrion showcased soft hands, corralling rebounds in traffic and scoring on putbacks and hook shots. In the second half, Walker began to stretch the floor by hitting a pair of threes. If Laderrion can consistently hit the outside shot while still providing effort in the paint, he should rise up recruiting boards over his final three seasons. There is a lot to like about the sophomore.
2025 5-11 PG Jacob Lee – Jackson County
Tasked with having to organize the offense both as a facilitator and lead scorer, Jacob Lee did all he could to keep the shorthanded Panthers in the game for as long as he could. Lee was outstanding in the first quarter, helping Jackson County build a 22-19 lead as he scored 13 points. Lee would finish with a game-high 24 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. He drained four threes, hitting them off the catch and using a stepback when scoring from distance on the bounce. Jacob showed his savvy on drives to the basket, crafting his way to the hoop with floaters. His prettiest bucket of the game came in the fourth quarter, patiently utilizing his pivot foot as he stepped around a defender using a long stride to scoop in a layup. Lee is subtle with the ball, good at getting to his spots. His toughness should draw the attention of schools at the next level. NCCAA, D-III and NAIA programs should take a look at the 4.0 GPA student.

2025 6-2 SG Luke Hayes – Jackson County
After a scoreless first half, Luke Hayes caught fire from distance splashing five threes en route to 19 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals. The long-armed lanky shooter drilled three corner threes and spaced the floor from the top of the key. Luke contributed defensively, using his length in the press to force turnovers. Hayes is a streaky shooter but when he’s on he can net momentum changing threes in succession.
