2027 5-11 F Daytona Underwood – Habersham Central
Standing nearly 6-foot tall and with Habersham Central in need of a new face of the program, Daytona Underwood looks ready to step into the spotlight as the Raiders’ star player. Underwood has great instincts on the floor and uses her knowledge of the game to impact every aspect. Although just a sophomore, Underwood is a vocal leader for the Raiders, directing traffic on both ends of the court. Her physicality stands out when rebounding and defending the post. Daytona has a high skill level which allows her to serve as a point-forward, initiating the offense. She likes to shoot the three but is also a very good passer off the dribble with both hands and is a sturdy low-block scorer that converts through contact when finishing inside. In a 60-35 win over Monroe Area, Underwood busted the box score with 12 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, 7 steals and 3 blocks. If Daytona can consistently produce as the competition level rises, expect Underwood to start popping up on college radars sooner rather than later.

2028 5-10 PF Tessa Murdock – Habersham Central
The length and activity level of Tessa Murdock could not be matched by Monroe Area as the freshman compiled a monstrous 21-point, 23-rebound, 2-steal, 2-block performance in her debut. Murdock finished exceptionally well with her left hand, scoring thrice. Tessa drew fouls after collecting rebounds, shooting 7-12 from the foul line. Murdock had a nose for the ball once a shot went up, getting in position to snag offensive boards. She did a great job running the floor in transition and defensively was willing to sacrifice her body to draw charges.
2026 5-6 G Kayden Murphy – Monroe Area
Kayden was a major bright spot for Monroe Area. She’s a strongly built lead guard with an aggressive mindset. She attacked off the dribble, getting to her floater. Murphy has very nice form on her free throws and jump shot. She has deep range from straight away, knocking in three long balls en route to finishing with 16 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. With two full seasons ahead, Murphy could continue to develop into a sneaky good prospect for smaller college programs by the time she graduates.
2025 5-9 W Ajiyah Smith – Monroe Area
Following a slow start, Smith found her groove and finished with 12 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Smith can play 2-4 for the Hurricanes. She likes to attack off the dribble with a runner but is also confident in shooting the three off the dribble. I liked Smith best when she played 15-feet and in. She blends toughness and athleticism which allows her to score in traffic. Ajiyah had three buckets come via cuts.
2026 5-8 SG Macey McCutcheon – Jackson County
Down 16 points heading into the fourth quarter, Jackson County saw Macey McCutcheon catch fire off the bench with three threes in the final frame, netting 12 of her team-high 13 points to lead the Panthers to a 56-51 win, outscoring Madison County 23-2 in the fourth quarter. McCutcheon was active in the full court press, using her length to force bad passes. Offensively, Macey proved that when her feet are set, she can swing the momentum of games with her outside shooting. McCutcheon drilled a pair of corner threes before sinking two free throws with 2:11 left to give the Panthers their first lead of the game at 52-51. A minute later after breaking the press, instead of holding the ball to run clock, Macey caught a pass in transition and launched a heat check three which proved to be the dagger, giving Jackson County all the space needed to seal the wild come from behind win.
2026 5-5 G Ka’Mya Washington – Jackson County
Off to a slow start down 7-0 early on, a buzzer beating three by Ka’Mya Washington gave the Panthers a small spark to close the gap to 19-11 after one period. Washington served as a dynamic playmaker on both ends for the Panthers, finishing with 13 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 7 steals. She scored in transition three times, once after collecting a steal. She was able to get to her floater and went 2-2 from the foul line. Ka’Mya’s active hands on defense were paramount in the Panthers’ rally, sparking fastbreak opportunities. When Washington is able to limit turnovers, she is an effective downhill slasher with sneaky good vision.

2027 5-5 SG Kelsey Clack – Jackson County
Kelsey Clack came off the bench and made it nearly impossible to take her off the floor in the second half as she stepped up while the Panthers battled foul trouble throughout the night. Clack’s impact started with her effort on defense, moving her feet and guarding without fouling. She showed toughness by attempting to draw a charge, taking it right in the chest. While passing turnovers plagued her at times, her risk-reward factor proved to be a positive as she drained two second half threes and was able to contribute key assists. Clack finished with 6 points, 1 rebound, 3 assists and 2 steals as a second half sparkplug.
2027 5-10 PF Laila Streetman – Madison County
Laila Streetman had one of if not the finest game of her young career as seemingly every time she touched the ball good things happened. She started off her night with an And-1 left-handed hook shot and from there her confidence built. Streetman squeezed in numerous tough post layups in traffic often times putting just enough touch to roll the ball over the rim. In the third quarter, she flared out to the corner to drill a three. Laila finished with 19 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals, shooting 4-5 from the line as the Red Raiders sank their first 10 free throws and netted 17-24 on the night.

2025 5-6 G Jordyn Jones – Madison County
Jones was all over the floor for the Red Raiders, collecting 7 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 steals and 1 block. Her points came by running the floor, scoring on a putback and on a drive. Jones played off the ball but was able to help play lead guard alongside Jordyn Hall. Jones had quick instincts on defense, poking away steals.
2025 5-4 PG Jordyn Hall – Madison County
I really liked the speed of Jordyn Hall. She had a lightning quick first step and was able to get penetration throughout the night. She wasn’t shy about applying heavy ball pressure before ripping away steals. Her hustle stood out on defense, not giving up on plays in transition, coming from behind to strip layups. Hall sank a three and went 2-6 from the foul line, a rare off night at the stripe for any of the Red Raiders. Jordyn tallied 5 points, 4 assists, 2 steals and 1 block.
