2026 5-4 PG Isabella Italiano – Alexander
College programs are starting to take notice of the hard playing sparkplug. Piedmont recently offered with more bids potentially on the horizon. Italiano has always been a scrappy max effort player. On the smaller side, Bella makes up for her lack of height with her activity on both ends of the floor. The hustler is a tough defender who has seen her offensive game increasingly improve over the course of her career. Bella has blossomed into an exceptional playmaker, a great pocket-passer off the dribble upon probing the defense. Italiano can create offense for herself as well, shifty in traffic with the ability to finish with either hand against length. Isabella is a stat sheet stuffer who typically touches every column of the box score.

2028 5-9 W Mackenzie Slater – Woodstock
Heading into her sophomore season already with an Anderson offer, Slater did more to build her stock at camp on Saturday. Mackenzie stood out with her shot making ability, netting threes and mid-range jumpers with a fluid release and confident stroke. Defensively, Slater has been known to draw tough assignments. Her versatility guarding on the perimeter and even in the post helps her long-term value as she loves to mix it up with active hands as a switchable defender.
2028 5-3 PG Makenzie Weaver – Holy Innocents’
The undersized guard was able to make her presence felt as a gnatty on-ball defender, constantly buzzing around to force turnovers. As aggressive as she was on defense, Weaver also wasn’t shy about hunting her offense when the defense allowed it. Makenzie walked into threes off the dribble and utilized her low center of gravity and speed to turn corners as a drive-and-kick penetrator.
2027 5-8 G Elisa Malone – McEachern
All signs are pointing toward a strong final two seasons for the trendy guard. I really like Malone’s effectiveness on both ends of the floor. She has long arms for a guard her size and equipped with athleticism and instincts, Elisa is an impactful defender. Malone can serve 1-3 in the backcourt. She shoots the ball well and can sneak onto the offensive glass for putbacks. Newberry and St. Clair Community College both have offered this summer.
2026 5-10 G Ellison Steinhauer – Pickens
It’s hard to believe the do-everything star guard is still available and doesn’t have D-I offers. D-II schools have wisely gotten aggressive this summer with Anderson, Middle Georgia State, Young Harris, North Georgia and Alabama Huntsville all offering. Ellison continued to build her case as one of the state’s top players as she contributed across the board on Saturday. Steinhauer sliced through the defense with elite footwork, balance and handle. The three-level scorer is also a heady defender who rebounds exceptionally well. Though she is thin, Ellison has great functional strength and is a complete player with limited weaknesses.
2026 5-10 F Maegan Jenkins – Union Grove
The lefty was a wrecking ball inside with her physicality and nose for the ball. Jenkins carved out space and aggressively pursued offensive rebounds, scoring on second and third chance opportunities. Jenkins is a tweener with her versatile inside-out game. She can score from the perimeter when not scoring with her back to the basket. Jenkins could be a valuable piece in high screens with the ability to both pop for threes or roll with authority to the rim. Brenau, University of the Virgin Islands, Notre Dame of Maryland, Independence Community College and Essex County College are the latest to offer this offseason.
2028 5-5 G Braalyn Whitehead – Archer
Braalyn is a ferocious competitor like big sister MeMe who is embarking on her freshman season at Jacksonville State. Whitehead was electric at camp with her end-to-end speed. The lightweight guard plays with strength, muscling off bigger defenders on her way to the rim. Whitehead snaps off eurosteps with smooth fluidity leading to highlight buckets. Braalyn’s elite energy is a game changing influence. Expect her to rise steadily in Georgia’s guard pecking order.
2027 5-9 W Hope Johnson – Paulding County
Hope turned heads throughout camp with her physicality and aggressive nature. Johnson is an overpowering downhill attacker who excels at playing bully-ball and finishing off two feet. Johnson is a double-double threat with her rebounding tenacity. She’s a grab-and-go threat coast-to-coast. As her jump shooting range expands and becomes more consistent, Johnson will become an even more dynamic offensive threat. Bellarmine offered in July to tip-off her recruitment.
2026 5-8 SG Kinsey Harper – Wesleyan
D-III programs are in on Kinsey. Oglethorpe, Piedmont and now Greensboro have offered the three-point specialist. Harper is a streaky shooter who can swing momentum quickly with her outside shot. While jump shooting is her primary form of scoring the ball, Kinsey has the frame to be able to play physically on downhill drives and when defending. Harper’s tools are an attractive fit at the next level.
