Class AAAAAA

No. 2 North Forsyth 55, No. 10 Buford 44: Chattanooga-signee London Weaver scored 16 points. Gabbie Gliatta (12), Emma Rose (11) and Sophia Parks (11) powered the Raiders. Lydia Ledford led Buford with 26 points.

Mill Creek 48, Discovery 35: Bella Ragone finished with 23 points, 12 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 blocks. Danica Taylor filed in 12 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 2 steals. Freshman Ayla Summers posted 8 points and 5 rebounds.

Denmark 53, Cambridge 52: Berry-commit Avery Huffman scored 16 points while Hannah Lopez and freshman Jadyn Shepard scored 10 apiece.

Class AAAAA

No. 3 Woodward Academy 78, Lakeside-DeKalb 50: Mackenzee Williams poured in 22 points. Lauryn Cooper had 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists while Kayla Whitner scored 12 points. Stony Brook-signee Delaney Cooper recorded 8 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals and 1 block.

No. 10 New Manchester 68, Douglas County 26: Devin Furgess piled in 24 points, 2 assists and 5 steals. Clark Atlanta-signee Kyara Lawrence double-doubled with 17 points and 15 rebounds.

Chattahoochee 37, Gainesville 31: Brooke Dorr (10), Laila West (10) and Loren Withrite (9) paced the Cougars.

Evans 56, Lakeside-Evans 40: Chabria Tate finished with 23 points. Janiyah Quiller and Charity Joyner scored 8 apiece. DeeDee Brooks had 7 points and Kimariya Hinton netted 5.

Class AAA

No. 4 Luella 74, Douglass 30: Jacksonville State-signee Jasmine Baxter posted 18 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks. Journey Bryant had 14 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

Fannin County raced out to a 16-0 lead against Christian Heritage before finding themselves in a dog fight after three quarters leading 45-39. In the fourth quarter, Emma Buchanan made her mark, stamping the game with her two-way hustle which helped wilt the Lions, the Rebels racing away 68-53.
