2024 6-2 C Brianna Pelote – Woodville-Tompkins
I’ve been banging the drum for Brianna Pelote since I first saw her the summer of her sophomore season with the Fernwood Falcons. I’ve seen enough over the past two-plus years to claim Pelote as 2024’s best rim protector in the state of Georgia. She is an elite defensive presence with terrific length and freakishly large hands which help her swat everything in her area and rebound in traffic. While the window has shut for Woodville-Tompkins to win a state title and reaching .500 on the year may be an uphill climb with a ton of inexperience now littered throughout the roster around Pelote, Brianna’s game-changing presence in the paint is still enough to fawn over. Pelote’s defense will always be her calling card, but her offense is steady as well. She had nice post moves, using ball fakes, drop steps and hook shots. Bri has a nice touch and has worked on extending her range out to the three-point line, now capable of burying shots from the top of the key and the corners. As I’ve said repeatedly, Pelote’s floor is high at the next level. No matter where she goes, D-I, D-II or anywhere, you can count on Pelote to rebound and block shots at an All-Conference level. The numbers just don’t lie. When matched up against other players her size that are already D-I prospects, Pelote always wins the battle defensively. She had 11 rebounds and 8 blocks against St. Francis in the Final Four and this week against surging prospect Lyric Green, Pelote recorded 4 points, 8 rebounds and 7 blocks. The high academic recruit holds an offer from USC-Beaufort and has been in communication with Nicholls State. If you are a school that values interior defense, Bri Pelote is the best shot blocker in Georgia and it’s not even close.
2025 6-0 C Lyric Green – Dodge County
The dam broke this week as Bethune-Cookman, Appalachian State and Jacksonville State all offered the physically imposing center. Lyric Green is a battering ram inside. She is already stronger than a vast majority of D-I posts. Her frame is impressive from top to bottom, able to overwhelm opponents inside. Even with the muscular weight she carries around, Green moves extremely well. She’s a very vocal presence, constantly talking on the floor with a loud personality. Lyric scores a lot of her points on dump offs, lobs and putbacks. If she is able to develop some back to the basket moves and step outside to shoot the mid-range jumper, Green could start forcing her way onto Mid-Major radars. Locked up against Brianna Pelote, Green was able to power in 10 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 blocks. Against Butler, down 17-5 at the half, Lyric won the game nearly herself in the second half, piling in 16 points to carry the Squaws to a 30-26 victory, finishing with 22 points, 16 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 blocks. With two more years to refine her game, Lyric Green is a stock riser that will continue to climb.
2025 6-0 F Kayla Cleaveland – River Ridge
When Kayla Cleaveland got the ball, she was effective. Against Buford, all the Wolves could do was foul the southpaw whenever she touched the ball inside. Kayla did a great job sealing for position and using her strength to quickly drop step and easily score inside. Over a two-game span against Buford and Mt. Paran, Kayla averaged 11 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals. Cleaveland buried a corner three at the buzzer to stun Buford 48-45. Her versatile inside-out game was on full display at GBCA Live.

2024 6-1 C Tianna Rabsatt – Dacula
Need a sleeper that could really help a program? Tianna Rabsatt is steadily improving for Dacula. Off the rip, you can’t teach height. At 6-foot-1, Rabsatt is a defensive-minded center. Her length allows her to control the paint. She dominated on defense against Lassiter in a 33-25 win, collecting 4 points, 10 rebounds and 6 blocks. Tianna is a little raw on offense but the lefty can score on putbacks and finishes around the basket. Smaller schools will want to track her progress.

2026 6-0 F Za’Miyah Jenkins – Josey
The springy high-motor forward did extreme damage on the offensive glass, playing volleyball on the boards against Midtown. Jenkins was a putback machine, using her length to high-point rebounds before others could even get off the floor. Za’Miyah scored on a whopping five putbacks as she totaled 14 points and 13 rebounds. The rising sophomore has the physical tools to blossom into a nice prospect.
2024 6-0 PF Amaya Broadus – New Manchester
The most consistent performer I saw from New Manchester over two games was Amaya Broadus. The physical forward is a rugged interior presence. She rips down rebounds and powers in points. Amaya posted 15 points, 14 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 3 blocks against Pickens, scoring on four putbacks. A double-double machine over the course of her career, D-III programs have Broadus as a priority target.
2025 6-2 C Elizabeth Wynn – Oconee County
D-II, D-III and NAIA programs will want to quickly familiarize themselves with Elizabeth Wynn. The rising junior has undeniable size, a great frame that can add even more muscle to an already athletically strong build. Wynn moves her feet well, able to keep pace with smaller players. Elizabeth has a nice touch in the paint. She scored on two putbacks and sank a pair of mid-range jumpers en route to finishing with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals. Elizabeth has the natural gifts to become an interesting prospect come senior season. Stay tuned.
2027 6-1 F Nakhai Worthy – Holy Innocents’
Munchie has Power 5 skills. It’s not often you see a freshman of her size and build able to take people off the dribble for And-1s or more impressively, effortlessly pull-up from three in transition. Worthy had a handful of “wow” moments in a 35-19 win over Peachtree Ridge. She finished with 8 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks. Nakhai is a burgeoning matchup nightmare with her inside-out versatility. She scores with either hand up close and has really nice guard skills. Her upside is exciting.
