No. 2 Grayson crushed Winder-Barrow at OTR 76-45 behind MJ Curry’s 15 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Byron Lee collected 14 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks while freshman Austin Leonard added 13 points. No. 6 Hillgrove bounced back with a 66-55 win over Kennesaw Mountain at the Powder Springs Showcase. No. 8 Berkmar moves up a spot with a 73-68 win over Winder-Barrow before falling at OTR to Class 3A-1A Private No. 3 Mt. Vernon 59-56 as Will Gause scored 20 points. South Gwinnett (1-1) drops from the poll following a 57-48 overtime loss to Morrow. Peachtree Ridge (0-2) falls out with losses to Johns Creek 50-47 and Class 5A No. 2 Alexander 73-50 at the Powder Springs Showcase. No. 5 Westlake debuts in the middle of the poll with wins over Class 4A No. 7 Mays 74-68, Morrow 71-55 and Class 2A No. 4 KIPP Atlanta 52-49 at the South Cobb Classic. No. 10 Meadowcreek climbs in with wins at Central Gwinnett 54-50 and Discovery 70-37.

No. 1 Tri-Cities hangs onto to their position after a 77-65 loss to Class 6A No. 1 Wheeler at the OTR Tip-Off Classic as Georgia Tech-signee Jalan Wingfield scored 16 points. Without Colorado State-signee Pops Dunson, No. 2 Alexander defeated last week’s Class 6A No. 8 Peachtree Ridge 73-50 at the Powder Springs Showcase. No. 4 Decatur pounded Class 3A-1A Private No. 7 Paideia 84-45 on the road and smoked Class A D-I No. 6 Towers 95-49. No. 6 Dutchtown beat Central Gwinnett at OTR 65-53 as Bobby Buggs dumped in 23 points.
In Class 4A, No. 4 St. Pius X defeated GAC 63-56. No. 6 Westminster drilled Class A D-I No. 6 Towers 84-49 on the road. No. 7 Mays lost 74-68 to newly ranked Class 6A No. 5 Westlake before topping Private No. 7 Paideia 74-53 on the road. No. 8 ELCA beat St. Francis 65-50 at the PRO Southside Showdown while East Forsyth (1-1) fell to Lumpkin County 62-56 at the 400 Showdown to drop out of the Top 10, replaced by No. 10 Warner Robins who won at Houston County 50-46.
Frashad Tisby scored 24 points as Class 3A No. 1 Cross Creek defeated Grovetown 76-63. No. 3 Cedar Grove slips a spot, beaten 75-64 by Class 2A No. 1 Columbia. No. 4 Cherokee Bluff is up a spot with an 84-55 win over Rabun Gap at the 400 Showdown. No. 5 Harlem slides after a 67-48 loss to Houston County as Jayden Futrell didn’t play due to football. 6-foot-9 move-in Uzziah Morton has left the program for Bethel Academy, VA. No. 7 Westover is up after bouncing back from a 58-44 loss at Lowndes to beat Tift County 67-53. No. 8 Douglass beat East Coweta 61-43. No. 10 East Hall plummets four spots with a 66-52 loss to Cambridge.
Class 2A No. 1 Columbia won at last week’s Class 3A No. 2 Cedar Grove 75-64 as Zayd Muhammad scored 18 points and Deven Nelson had 17. No. 2 Butler climbs a position in the pole with a 73-44 win at Lakeside-Evans. Idle No. 3 Carver-Columbus lost Preseason All-State guard Jayddence Ford to Summit Academy, FL, marking the fifth high school of his career. No. 4 KIPP Atlanta fell 52-49 to Class 6A No. 5 Westlake at the South Cobb Classic. No. 9 Morgan County lost 50-40 to St. Andrew’s at the PRO Southside Showdown.
Class A D-I sees no changes. No. 3 Rabun County won at Seckinger 68-44 as Hayes Free had 22 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 6 steals and 5 blocks. No. 6 Towers was drilled by Class 4A No. 6 Westminster 84-49 and Class 5A No. 4 Decatur 95-49.
In Class A D-II, No. 2 Greene County was stomped by Kell at the OTR Tip-Off Classic 70-33. No. 3 Chattahoochee County held off Shaw 67-60. No. 6 Hancock Central fell at the Title Town Tip-Off Classic to Johnson-Savannah 54-43. No. 7 Towns County lost 68-56 at Tallulah Falls and 76-55 to Union County to drop a spot.
Class 3A-1A Private has no movement. No. 2 Walker pulled away from Johns Creek at the Sandy’s Spiel Tip-Off Classic 67-53 as Devan Fernande posted 20 points and 7 rebounds. KD Hernandez recorded 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. No. 3 Mt. Vernon edged Class 6A No. 8 Berkmar 59-56 at the OTR Tip-Off Classic as Darrell Dickens scored 17 points. No. 7 Paideia suffered three losses, beaten by Class 5A No. 4 Decatur 84-45, Class 4A No. 7 Mays 74-53 and Newton 63-54 at OTR as Old Dominion-signee CJ Harper scored 25 points.
