There is no movement in Class 6A. No. 1 Carrollton ripped off a pair of wins at Hoops4Hunger, beating last week’s Class 2A No. 2 Hardaway 43-38 and Class 3A No. 2 Fayette County 49-31. No. 2 Norcross identified a weakness in the backcourt and welcomed freshman Gabby Thomas in from Pace Academy with offers from Furman and Winthrop in tow. No. 3 North Forsyth won the Raider Classic by beating last week’s Class 5A No. 10 Pope 48-35 and replacement No. 10 Sequoyah 66-51. The Raiders closed their week with a 73-67 win over Hewitt-Trussville, AL at Hoops4Hunger as Chattanooga-signee London Weaver scored 24 points and Gabbie Gliatta added 22. Class A D-I will drastically change from week to week until teams start to separate themselves from the pack. A new top team emerges with No. 1 Model jumping nine spots after securing their first two wins of the season – the best two wins in the classification thus far – beating a pair of Class 6A schools in North Cobb (38-30) and Lassiter (55-53). Sadie Raughton shot 6-7 from beyond the arc to score 20 points while Javia Samples added 13 and Kamri Sanders had 9 in the Blue Devils’ win against the Trojans at the Wood Elite Thanksgiving Showcase.  No. 2 Fannin County holds onto their spot after losing 66-58 at Class 2A No. 6 Union County but bouncing back to win at Lumpkin County 67-62.
