Class AAAAAAA

No. 6 Grayson 60, Riverwood 41: Charleston Southern-signee Travis Anderson had 11 points while DJ Williams scored a team-high 12 and grabbed 5 rebounds. Kenyon Jackson added 11 points and 5 rebounds. Nick Edwards scored 9 points and Reco Hallmon tallied 5 points and 7 rebounds.

No. 8 Collins Hill 55, Lakeside-Evans 39: Chris Parks posted 18 points and Justin Lee added 10 in the Eagles win. Lakeside received 14 points apiece from Kalen Williams and Tucker Gilbert.

Berkmar 58, Forsyth Central 48: Ben Soumahoro led the Patriots with 16 points and 8 rebounds while Ryan Rockwell chipped in 13 points.

North Cobb 60, Kell 54: Jahwan Smith scored 33 points for the Longhorns in the loss while Cameron Lockett added 10 and Savvon Delgado netted 9.

Pebblebrook 67, 6ANo. 8 Jonesboro 60: The Cardinals couldn’t hold onto a 34-27 halftime lead. Jamari Smith hung 25 points and 15 rebounds in the loss. Miles Black added 15 points and 4 assists.

Kennesaw Mountain 70, Roswell 66: Josh Strong poured in 29 points to lead the Mustangs over Roswell and remain undefeated. Jalyn McCreary added 16 points and Christian Ramsey dealt 10 assists.

Tift County 58, Valdosta 51: Montae Terrell totaled 20 points and 8 assists for the Blue Devils on the road. JT Warren picked up 10 points and 10 rebounds while Rashod Bateman, fresh off the football field, scored 10 points — 7 in the fourth quarter.

Mill Creek 68, Archer 65: Noah Kenney had 24 points followed by Chris Birch’s 16 and Kendall Latney’s 14.

Class AAAAAA

No. 2 Dacula 65, 5ANo. 3 Cedar Shoals 57: Mekhail Bethea finished with 21 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals in the crucial road win. Brenden Tucker pitched in 21 points and 4 rebounds while Shayne Buckingham contributed 11 rebounds and 3 blocks. Quincy Canty double-doubled in the loss for the Jaguars with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Keivaziay Ball had 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Demetrius Glenn posted 10 points and 7 rebounds and Darien Appling  collected 8 points and 8 rebounds.

No. 3 Langston Hughes 61, Shiloh 41:  Lander Nolley dumped in 27 points in the Panther win.

No. 9 Tucker 64, ML King 48: Jevon Tatum scored 17 points and Nick Watson had 13 in the Tiger backcourt. Nate Ogbu posted 11 points inside.

No. 10 Brunswick 83, Beach 54: Marcus Scott led the Pirates with 18 points while Shaky Baggs added 17. Daquan Humphreys netted 12 points and Tarique Gray had 10.

Creekview 74, Cherokee 51: The Grizzlies hit 15 threes to blow past Cherokee. Ty Allen and KJ Jenkins scored 15 apiece.

Mundy’s Mill 50, Spalding 49: Kirshon Thrash scored 17 points and Jordan Black had 14 in the win.

Glynn Academy 86, McIntosh County Academy 30: Carieon Robbins had 25 points to lead the Terrors. Santana Young and Syron Noyes scored 16 apiece.

Class AAAAA

No. 2 Buford 87, East Jackson 61: Marcus Watson went for 26 points and 8 rebounds in the win. Donell Nixon produced 18 points and 5 assists while David Viti chipped in 10. Zay Clark led East Jackson with 20 points.

No. 7 McIntosh 97, Lambert 91 OT: Bruce Carpenter poured in a career-high 23 points and Cole Guenther dropped 22 as the Chiefs won a wild one at home. Chaz Hardin scored 18 points while Naj Ashley-Emory netted 17. Zach Pina chipped in 9. Lambert was led by Jordan McIlwain’s 26 points and Damon Stoudamire Jr.’s 19 points and 15 rebounds. Austin Deckard netted 17 points and Colin Granger collected 12 points and 17 rebounds.

No. 9 Lithonia 60, 3ANo. 2 Johnson-Savannah 51: Ziven Alexander posted 23 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals while Eric Gaines added 11 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 4 steals as the Bulldogs led nearly the entire game against the Atomsmashers. 6-foot-7 junior Justin Myles was a standout defensively, collecting 10 points, 8 rebounds and 6 blocks. The Atomsmashers were powered by UGA-signee Amanze Ngumezi’s 22 points, 5 rebounds and 1 steal. Shamar Jones had 11 points and Eleik Bowles tallied 9 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals and 5 blocks.

Villa Rica 56, Cass 52: Latrell Swanigan (17) and JJ Franklin (14) combined for 31 points for Villa Rica. Ashton Burley scored 20 in the loss.  Markeldrick Powell and Justice Hayes chipped in 9 apiece.

Johnson-Gainesville 64, Commerce 46: Will Richter tossed in a game-high 15 points for the Knights. Jalen Dorsey scored 8 for Commerce.

Bainbridge 65, Seminole County 57: Jaylen Jones and Deunta Gardner both scored 14 points in the win.

Woodland-Stockbridge 67, Stockbridge 66: Jalen Mason and Curtis Perdue scored 17 points apiece while Diallo Wilburg netted 12 in the win. Georgia State-signee Kavonte Ivery went for a game-high 26 points in the loss. Khobe Comer scored 14 points and Trillis Brown had 11 for the Tigers.

Class AAAA

No. 1 Upson-Lee 95, Lamar County 43: MTSU-signee Tye Fagan put up 29 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Zyrice Scott added 23 points and Cameron Traylor chipped in 10.

No. 2 St. Pius 57, 3ANo. 7 Pace Academy 39: The Golden Lions cruised past Pace Academy after a low scoring first half. Everett Lane poured in 10 of his game-high 18 points in the third quarter. Troy Stephens scored 11 points and Kennedy Willis added 10. Brian Gonzalo tacked on 7 points. Yale-signee Isaiah Kelly finished with 17 points and 4 blocks in the loss.

No. 6 Mary Persons 70, Houston County 45: Cam Holden finished with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks. Dee Morton pitched in 18 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Tre Edge had 14 points and 3 assists in the win. Kam Calloway posted 9 points and 6 rebounds.

Chestatee 72, North Oconee 43: Cameron Gwyn (23), Cooper Wilson (14) and Nick Lyles (10) paced the War Eagles.

McCallie, TN 65, Blessed Trinity 48: Ben Shappard scored a game-high 16 in the loss. Russell Dorvee added 13. JR Clay led McCallie with 15.

Woodward Academy 56, 3ANo. 10 Westminster 52: Walker Kessler’s 22 points, 20 rebounds and 4 blocks was too much for Westminster to handle. Jacorrei Turner added 13 points and Michael Whitmore chipped in 9 points and 7 assists. Will Demorest contributed 7 points and 6 rebounds.

Henry County 74, Luella 55: Jalen McDowell finished with 17 points in the win while Keith Anderson collected 13 points and 8 rebounds.

Shaw 93, Spencer 44: Lincoln Smith tallied 19 points and 7 rebounds. Jalen Ken scored 12 points.

Class AAA

No. 1 Morgan County 76, Putnam County 38: Tyrin Lawrence pumped in 21 points and Alec Woodard had 14.  Anthony Cooper, Stevin Greene and Latrabious Stokes all chipped in 10 points.

Monroe Area 68, Loganville 64: Jamar Moore finished with 22 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks in the loss.

Union County 62, Towns County 54: Sawyer Drake scored 17 points and Patrick Baggett added 12 to lift the Panthers. Pierson Allison scored 9 points while both Crawford and Candler Colwell netted 8 apiece. Towns County received a game-high 18 points from Logan Cowart and 10 from Evan Berrong.

Long County 68, Wayne County 62: DeVonte Andrews had 19 points and 13 rebounds in the loss while Amari Harris added 15 points and 6 assists for the Yellow Jackets.

Class AA

Washington County 72, 4ANo.4 Baldwin 71: Juwan Dukes double-doubled in the upset with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Conner Frazier added 14 points and 5 rebounds. Zeri Taylor had 14 points, 8 assists and 3 steals while Keith Foster totaled 10 points and 8 rebounds.

Class A-Private

Riverside Military Academy 63, Atlanta International 26: Jabari DePass finished with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks. Trey Greene added 10 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists.

Brookstone 50, Providence Christian Academy 36: Al Dorsey scored 11 points in the loss.

Class A-Public

No. 3 Macon County 74, Taylor County 43: Trey Brown collected 14 points, 13 rebounds and 2 blocks while Clayton Jenkins had 13 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists in the win. Jamaal Rice added 12 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.

Dooly County 86, St. Anne-Pacelli 41: JarQuavius Brown poured in 32 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks.

Bowdon 76, Dade County 73: Chris Parker collected a 27-point 10-rebound double-double. Martrez “Dede” Cox added 17 points and Trajan Brown posted 14 points and 12 rebounds. Scott Cunningham (9) and Jarrett Stephens (8) both pitched in.

Non-GHSA

Trinity Christian 73, A-PrivateNo. 10 Holy Innocents’ 65: Jamir Williams scored 22 points to lead Trinity Christian. Freshman Garrison Powell netted a game-high 30 in the loss.

The King’s Academy 70, Dawson Christian Academy 66:  Luke Chism had 23 points in the loss while Ahmad Kamara scored 18 and Ethan Bryant added 11. Seth Davis finished with 9.

 

GIRLS

Class AAAAAAA

No. 7 Cherokee 54, Creekview 30: Sydne Watts posted 14 points to lead the Lady Warriors. Lacie McCoy had 11 points and Kate Johnson chipped in 10.

Kennesaw Mountain 44, Roswell 32: Maya Inman scored 19 points and Mikayla Montag added 11 in the win.

Pope 50, Lassiter 41: Cheyenne Holloman pumped in 19 points to lead the Lady Greyhounds. Talia Cloud had 11 and Teya Holloman chipped in 9 points.

Lambert 56, McIntosh 34: Jaleah Greene finished with 17 points to lead four double-digit scorers. Katie Schwind (13), Skylar Aledia (12) and Sidney Chason (10) all pitched in.

South Forsyth 51, Woodstock 44: Sophia Singer put in 18 points in the loss.

Class AAAAAA

No. 1 Lovejoy 76, Drew 31:  Genesis Bryant posted 18 points and Kayla Brown had a 14-point 10-rebound double-double.

No. 2 Harrison 69, Osborne 43: After a slow first half, Harrison widened its lead in the 3rd quarter by 29 points after making a few minor adjustments to its press. Audrey Jordan led all scorers with 15, followed by Vick with 12 points and four assists, and King with 11. Sarah Woghiren contributed a little bit of everything with 5 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals, 4 assists, and 2 charges.

No. 5 Sequoyah 78, 2ANo. 4 Model 48: The Lady Chiefs rebounded after their loss to rival Creekview with a blowout win over Model at the Wesleyan Showcase. Sydney Rosant scored 21 and Colby Carden added 16. Emily Seres chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds.

New Manchester 50, Newnan 38: Makaika Cange scored 11 points followed by Jailsya Glover and Kyndall Golden’s 10 apiece.

Class AAAAA

No. 1 Buford 48, A-PrivateNo. 2 Wesleyan 46 OT: Ebony Grant scored 11 points to pace the Wolves. Tate Walters chipped in 10 points and Michigan State-signee Tory Ozment scored 9. Air Force’s Audrey Weiner had 8 points and Preston Reid scored 7 points.

No. 2 Flowery Branch 56, 6ANo. 4 Northview 41: Caroline Wysocki tallied 18 points and 4 steals as the Falcons flew past the Lady Titans at the Wesleyan Showcase. Taniyah Worth finished with 9 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Lexie Sengkhammee had 11 points. Ashlee Locke produced 6 points and 9 rebounds while Ashley Woodroofe collected 6 points and 5 assists. Northview was led by Asjahh Inniss’ 15 points and Maya Richards and Ashlee Austin’s 11 apiece.

No. 8 Maynard Jackson 75, Drew Charter 32: Tamaria White finished with 25 points. Kaziah Turner added 15 points.

Warner Robins 51, Jones County 43: Jordan Thomas had 18 points, Shynia Jackson 13 and Diamond Ellison 12 in the win.

Class AAAA

No. 3 Henry County 57, No. 4 Luella 48: The Warhawks came away with a huge early season win against a potential state playoff foe. Auburn-signee Brooke Moore dumped in 17 points to pace Henry County while Lauryn Bailey scored 13 points and Janaya Wadsworth pitched in 12. Zaria Bankston led Luella with a game-high 22 points. Keely Brown added 10 points while Kamya Hollingshed was held to 7. Imani McNeal did not play.

Woodward Academy 54, Westminster 38: Tyler Collins’ scoring binge continued with 24 points. Madison Williams added 23 in support.

Class AAA

No. 3 Central-Macon 55, Southwest-Macon 31: JeNya Wilder finished with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 6 steals while Tyleia Williams had 14 points and 6 rebounds. Jada Clowers posted 9 points, 5 rebounds and 9 blocks. Jada Jackson tallied 9 points and 4 steals.

No. 9 Hart County 74, Elbert County 47: Torrion Starks led the Lady Bulldogs with 28 points. Tanaya Alexander pitched in 22 points and Shakendra Grove scored 17.

Union County 54, Towns County 42: The Lady Panthers went on a 9-0 run over the last 1:49 minutes to  surge past Towns County. Bailey Daniel paced Union County with 16 points. Brooke Dockrey had 13 points and Kait McCarter tossed in 8. Freshman Kennedi Henson scored a game-high 20 points for the Lady Indians.

Class AA

No. 7 Putnam County 46, Morgan County 39: Rykia Pennamon poured in 25 points.

Bryan County 51, Southeast Bulloch 17: Shelby Gunn scored 15 points and Olonna Rawls netted 14 for the Redskins. Jay Black added 8 points and Kelsey Leggett chipped in 7.

Josey 61, Burke County 51: Tykedra Rolland (24) and Rhykeria Rolland (15) combined for 39 points. Rondaijah Wynn contributed 11.

Class A-Private

Athens Academy 52, Lake Oconee Academy 45: Gabby Mastandrea scored 20 points and Greer Moseley had 12 points and 7 rebounds in the win. Maddie McCleary scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.

Galloway 44, Mt. Pisgah 27: Jada Ryce netted a game-high 18 points to pace the Scots.

Class A-Public

Commerce 47, Johnson-Gainesville 25: Bryanna Sanders had 15 points and Jeanece Smith scored 8 points. Chelsea Reece nailed six three-pointers en route to 18 points in the loss.
